My favorite Christmas movie is “Elf.” It cracks me up every time I watch it. As a family, we watch a “Christmas Story” every year on Christmas morning.
Those are both so funny.
I'm not eligible to win in Australia but I'll tell you my favourite Christmas movie anyway. White Christmas. Danny Kaye was a legend. My husband would say either Muppet Christmas Carol or Die Hard.
White Christmas is a favorite in our house too. It happens to be my eldest daughter’s favorite too.
My favorite movie is "It's a wonderful life "❤

My favorite Christmas gift was a present from my OBGYN saying I was "with child" happy tears😢

cute pots! I got a wonderful doll one christmas and another year my favorite was a set of pom poms. In regard to bbbe and tea, my opinion is one small pot as long as it's not sipped on all throughout the day. I have a 2 cup small pot used for coffee and that is what I will do during my first one to 1 1/2 hours of the day. Regarding self-diagnosis, my grandniece thought she was autistic, pushed to get diagnosed in middle school, took over a year, and was yes diagnosed. It explained so many things from her early years. It had lots of tests, questions, interviews from teachers, and from various family, was very comprehensive from a children's hospital.
I’m going to try and go without tea most days, but I can’t give it up entirely. I also suspected Autism for several years before I got it. I’m not opposed to self diagnosis but it was interesting to learn about the other side of it. I have a better understanding of both sides. I am glad that I got a formal diagnosis to confirm it. It works well for me. But I still struggle with it as for about 18 months after I thought I knew to much and that I convinced myself. It’s been 3 years now. I just accept and live my life. But it explains so much of my younger years and even things now mostly with my sensory issues. 😊
what cute teapots! I love watching Christmas with the Cranks and A Christmas Story. I've only tried the Cherry Saltt, it was yummy. For books, I love fun and light christmas mysteries.

I say the teapot is considered one tea experience 😊 I have to say my favorite Christmas gift was a baby stroller. I loved putting my dolls in the stroller and walking around the yard with them. Congrats on finishing those books. You are so amazing with your reading.
Thank you Amy. I can’t give up my tea 😉. I wish I had memories like that. Mine was this giant green dinosaur my brother had. He used to chase me with it and knock me over the head with it. Not a great memory but now that I’m older it is a fond memory if that makes since.
@ bless your heart. That would be terrifying. My parents didn’t have a lot of money but made sure to give me and my 2 brothers the best Christmas they could and our Christmases were so good. Now they are only memories since I no longer have either parent but I’m blessed to have had them as my parents.
What a great giveaway. That teapot is so pretty. I’m not sure if you consider it a movie since it’s so short but my favorite Christmas movie would be either Rudolph or Frosty because it reminds me of my childhood. I looked so forward to watching them every year. I also wanted a cabbage patch doll but my parents couldn’t afford it so my mom had someone make me a doll that was supposed to look like a cabbage patch kid. Although it didn’t look like one, it is still special to me because my mom went above and beyond to make us have a good Christmas. I still have that doll. They were able to get me a cabbage patch kid a few years later but I have to say, the homemade one is even more special to me. I love your new plants. Your shelf looks so nice and well organized.
Thank you Amy. I totally count those as movies. ❤️I am surprised I even got a Cabbage Patch Kid. My mom worked extra jobs and overtime. It was the only gift I got that year. She was very special and I had her till she got lost in a move when I was 16

My favorite Christmas movie is “elf” - obviously it wasn’t around when I was a little girl but I loved the Grinch tv show and the Frosty the Snowman tv show and looked forward to watching them every year. Sometimes our teachers would ask us to write a paper on one of them as part of the curriculum. We were Jewish and lived in a mixed area - Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, NY - a lot of Italians in the area so there were churches everywhere and Christmas decorations mingled with the Chanukah decorations on my block. Not a lot of people in class celebrated Chanukah so I stuck out like a sore thumb. Anyway, I still was in love with Elf and watch it every year. My co-worker bought me a pair of Elf pjs for my birthday and I will wear them on Christmas, and Chanukah is at the same time this year.
Elf is a fun movie for sure. I was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness and was often the only one. We didn’t do any holidays. I also stuck out like a sore thumb.

We celebrate Chanukah and my favorite was when I was 6 and I got a Chatty Kathy doll. Loved that doll. It wet itself! I also got matching night gown to my sisters (which I did not like, we were not twins, She is 2-1/2 years older.)
I remember Chatty Kathy dolls being popular. I wanted one but never got it. My mom like to match my sister and I too. We are 4 years apart.

Sarah - you have so much going on. You inspire me to just try to keep up!! You are so successful in whatever you set your mind to do. You will make a terrific coach, counselor and Lord only knows how far you will go with your degree!! So exciting. My favorite thing at Christmas is getting my son & daughter and their 5 children to decorate Christmas cookies. It provides an opportunity for the children to see each other and to be creative (they get very creative).!! They enjoy seeing their cookies on the cookie platter. That, of course, is just the reason for having everyone together and enjoying the laughter, silliness and energy that children bring to a get together. ❤️🎄🎄❤️
Hi Debbie. I don’t honestly no how I do it. Life is very full and busy at the moment. But I am so excited about investing in my future. I love decorating Christmas cookies. I misss it sometimes. I used to get very artsy with mine. I know I can make a friendly version but it’s not the same. Plus I don’t really want to eat the cookies. 😀Christmas is a wonderful time to bring the whole family together.
I have so many gifts that I have loved but one in particular was from a kindergartner about 10 years ago. It was a note in typical kindergarten writing that said how much I meant to her and that if she had a lot of money she would buy me lots of gifts but since she doesn’t have any money she can’t buy me anything so she wrote me a note. It was the sweetest thing.
That is such a special and beautiful gift. I would have totally cried happy tears over that one.
Hello Sarah, it will be hard for me to narrow down what my favorite Christmas gift might be. I am 71 so I have had many gifts, but I believe my favorite would have to be the first Christmas card I got from my daughter after we found each other 25 years ago.

That is fantastic. After some thought mine was also a cabbage patch kid. She one of the 1st ones. Mine was a premiere with a balad head. My mine said she got that one as I had no hair till I was almost 3. 😂

I make my cranberry in a similar manner. As usual I was the only one eating it. I will advantage of the keto chow salter and ordered the donut flavor and 2 of the newer SALTT flavors. Being delivered on Wednesday. Can't wait to make Cindy's cake recipe with the donut flavor. It's in her trifle recipe on her website.
Matt and I both loved the cranberry sauce. I made chaffles out of the Doughnut that were good. I would like to try the funnel cake that Chris Cooking Nashville did.

I'll be in the BBBE course too. May start 2 days after Christmas just so I'm on the same schedule as everyone else since we're almost a day ahead of you. Definitely 30 days, would like to do 90 but I'll see how I go. I know from past efforts that after the 30 days I don't want to stop, so I'll have that going for me.

Can it also be What you love about Chanukah?? Joyful Chanukah! My favorite thing about the holiday in the first place is the traditions - lighting the candles on the menorah, singing, gift giving and of course, gift getting! At work they give me gifts in my department and I love giving gifts! I already have all the gifts for my department and I just started getting gifts for others in the store who I am friends with. I will start my snack bags (as part of the gifts) this weekend. I have to finish organizing the gifts and I need to wrap what needs to be wrapped.
It can absolutely be your favorite thing about Chanukah. I love holiday traditions. I love that your work takes part too.
My favorite Christmas thing is a memory, Until several years ago my Mom and I spent the weekends after Thanksgiving baking, All the treats, dozens of cookies [8 kinds] and breads. Her diabetes, my dietary lifestyle, and the loss of friends and scattering of family have pretty much put an end to the marathon baking. Its just her and I now for Christmas and we do reminisce about our baking days.
That is a wonderful memory. I also love baking and making treats. I don’t miss eating them, but I do miss making them and the time spent with my girls.
My favorite thing at Christmas time is having our oldest son come home for the holidays. I feel so happy having all of my loved ones in our home. We always put together a puzzle, watch movies, and just sit around and talk. I also get an opportunity to use my china!! I make tea and scones for everyone ❤️
That is fabulous. It is lovely to have family close at the holidays. One thing I have done is I use my China whenever if feel like it. So sometimes just randomly eat a meal on a fancy plate. It works well for me as I feel I would never use it otherwise. 😀
I adore snow and hot beverages as well as music at christmas. You mentioned weight, I agree about having more realistic goals. Mine is to get below 180 if possible (I was 300 before).
I love the idea of snow. It’s beautiful to watch and look at. But the minute I have to go out in it or drive in it I’m done. I’m a Southern California native so snow isn’t something I grew up with. I didn’t seen my 1st snow till I was 20.
Sounds like you have a lot going on as usual 😊 I’m so glad your job is going well. I know being closer to home is a huge plus. I hope it continues to go well. You are so sweet to do a Christmas giveaway. The thing I love most about Christmas is giving gifts to others and seeing the joy it gives them. My budget may not be the biggest but my heart is!
I also love to give gifts. I often make handmade gifts because they are super special to me. It does bring such joy to give a gift.

Your Christmas gift idea sounds like fun! 🎄 One of the Christmas things I enjoy is to make Carnivore or Keto foods to take to a party and see how people enjoy REAL....WHOLE foods that are satiating & nourishing WITHOUT any processed sketchy ingredients.

How long does that batch of pork belly last the two of you? I'm just one person so I'm guessing I'd have to freeze in batches :). Looks yummy.
It lasts us a few days or so. You can always make smaller amounts. If it was just me I would have cut that one down into 3 portions and gone from there. 😊
