I would love t try this build. I don't have a meter saw, but I do have circular and jig saws. Would I still be able to build it?
Thanks for the video. The only downside of these, I assume, is they are not much use if you have any existing deep cupboard that you want to to make shelf pin holes to front and back. They would not reach to the back (or very far in at all) unless I'm missing something?
@@bobbrock41 you can take the edge guide off which would allow you to place it flat in the cupboard and make holes.
awesome build, only would do different is take your redwood saw dust and mix with glue and use that to plug the holes sanding them down when dried
I watched three other videos before I found this one - this actually showed me HOW to do it, vs just showing that they did it. I appreciate it so much and you’ve inspired confidence that I probably could do this as well!
Also, what kind of saw is needed for this?
I know this is an older post but I have a question. How do I download the plans? Every time I try to download it just takes to different pages to download and install PDF reader/viewer programs even thou I have Adobe Pro installed and then still can't get the plan download after installing 2 of the programs. So anyway I uninstalled both of the programs since they did nothing for me.
Thanks. Very easy instructions for the DIYer.
Very good project. looks like family project.!
Great job, however it cost nearly $300 just for the material when you add glue and screws . Inflation!
Love is built very creative. I’m actually working on making some now. Thank you for the contact. Looking forward to watching a lot a lot more of it. We’re so creative thank you.
Really nice and instructional video
You made that look so easy; I know it helps to have good quality tools(and know how to use them) I am sure. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching! I have definitely learned a lot over the years with practice. 😁
is it available in india?
I would need clear ... visual for restocking
Love this!
But your plans said that there are eight pieces at 8 feet long. There are some discrepancies related to the video in the actual plans.
Thanks for watching! The actual plans are not my own, I included the link for a reference point for those who may want to build the same bench. I used the plans as a guide, but chose to make the bench longer and therefore adjusted those measurements and bought 10' long boards. Hopefully that helps clear the confusion.
Buen dia quisiera saber las medidas de la madera y los cortes
I made it too. Just used woodprix instructions for that :)
This just inspired me to try this in a house we’re remodeling to be our forever home. You did amazing
That's amazing! It's definitely doable for any diyer. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Can you tell us what angles you used for the miter
Sorry, I'm not sure I remember if I didn't mention in the video. I would assume 30 or 45 degree angle.
@@houseoftimbers thank you so much for responding back
Hey, thank for the video, I am planning to do similar of yours, just add a storage for my music sheets in the bench. Thanks again
Yes, adding storage is a great idea! Thank you for watching!
Hi! I just finished my bench. Thanks for your help. I have some pictures if you want to see it.
Thank you for this video. I just spent 4 hours building a bench using extra 2x4s that I have laying around! Thank you for the idea!
That's so awesome! Thank you for watching!
So 5mm holes are not possible?
they are, but you have to order the 5mm kit
Your video would've been more interesting if you didn't have kids running around loose. You can tell ur a woman aman would have kids distracting or ur viewers.Very disappointed.
Bet the finished job will be cool…bold decision on base color.
i think it looks blah. it needs texture. the color you choose just gives aquarium vibes in a bad way, and the color drenching intensifies the tackiness of it all.
It for sure needs texture, but this is just one step of the process. I still have moulding and wallpaper to put up. In my experience with remodeling, it always gets worse before it gets better.
That color reminds me of a beach house haha happy decorating
Ha! Idk why I didn't think of that. You should see the wallpaper I'm putting up, it's going to feel like an oasis for sure!
I think that blue is gonna be a rly great change from the green/brown that’s currently there! Are you going to leave the white at the top, or go full blue?
I'm doing my first color drench. So baseboards, ceiling, and door will all be the same color. Then wallpaper comes next!
This is great! I’m about to embark on a similar project. This is very helpful Thanks!
No problem! Thanks for watching and good luck! 🤞
Nice job
Thanks!
This looks great! I was wondering how you went around the exhaust pipe? Wish you would have shown that part!
Thank you! I used the jig saw to cut around the pipe like I did the outlet cover. However because I couldn't remove the whole pipe I had to cut the wood into two pieces to fit around it, much like a puzzle. I should have shown that part, but I hope this helps!
Hi just wanted to say you are showing your children that with a little imagination you can achieve your goals and that priceless
Thank you so much! I love that I can share my talents with my family and others! I appreciate comments like this very much ☺️
good job!
Thanks!
Why didn’t you just put slats out of wood? You would have saved so much money and it would have costed a lot less
😂😂😂❤
I want to know more about this router-compass situation! 😮That looks so efficient.
Great idea!
Love it, great video!
Thank you so much! You were definitely a huge inspiration in why I decided to begin woodworking. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in sharing your ideas and plans!
Just got mine built tonight out of scrap wood and we love it. Could only build one for now but it’s an excellent chair. Thanks for the video
That's so great! Mine are still holding up well, you're going to enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Base legs aren't long enough
😊 Nice!
Ok thanks for the info
cheaper to cut wood in circles
Прикольный улей
It's so fast
I wish it all happens that fast. I have a step by step coming soon in long form 😁
Starting this project soon and would like to see the long form instructions 👍
Stupid music.
what's up with that faces on cover?
Waste of time thanks
I just want to say thank you for your projects. I found you I think 2 yrs ago. It was your sliding door project. You’re so relatable and I haven’t found any other channel doing what you are. Thank you so much.
That's so kind of you! Comments like this help motivate me to continue trying to put my content out there in order to hopefully help or inspire others. I appreciate the support!
this is great! when are you having the live classes?
I haven't jumped on the live classes yet. What is something you would like to see in one? Are there specific questions or projects you'd like to see?
home to make picture frames class@@houseoftimbers
I will look into that! Thanks for the idea! In the meantime, you can check this video or if mine. I made plywood frames. th-cam.com/video/xcJ2yZFoyh8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YwQONEqWMs88KanY
Please pull your hair back! Never use power tools with hair long enough to get caught in it or to obstruct your vision when leaning forward or bending over. I lit a tiny tabletop gas grill and caught mine on fire. Even the airflow can grab your hair. Safety first!
I think it is so attractive to see a beautiful woman working with wood but that's just me
