GENESIS - Suppers Ready - JFK Stadium 1982

Here's a bit of rare footage from the 3SL Encore Tour, a tour after which many of the old songs were retired. This audience footage ends shortly after 'we will rock you...'. Enjoy!
One of my favorite genesis songs
Steve is seriously good classical guitar player. An all round guitar expert in all styles. Hats off to him.
Young Gary O’Tool singing and drumming like Phil Collins then back in 1976/77
Lugano Italia ?
Música esplêndida ❤❤❤
My favourite song, first time I thought it was Bach or Mozart. ...
grande chitarrista classico
The greatest
Ont dirait un solo à la David Gilmour j adore ces 2 grands guitaristes ❤❤ superbe
Liquidlen and his smash bottle men🎉🎉
Liquidlen and his smash bottle men🎉🎉
He played Horizons WAY too Fast
When first Peter left and then Steve . I was pretty much done with Genesis. This song is beautiful. Thank you Mr Hackett.
🙄
Meraviglioso ❤
This and The Rain Song from Zep are my 2 favorite songs
incredible guitar playing, and a nice cover of this tune...the chord progressions in this song are ridiculous...
Blood on the rooftops is such a good example why Genesis was such a unique band. There's like a million different chords in there yet it's so cohesive as a song. I also can't think of any other band, prog or not, that did what Genesis did at that time. Genesis' music has always spoken to me like no other prog band can. Doesn't mean I'm not a huge fan of bands like Yes or King Crimson, but Genesis just ticks all the right boxes for me.
I love Todd Rundgren Yes King Crimson and Emerson Lake and Palmer too
Super
Drummer does a fantastic job singing!
dedicata a mio cugino guido che mi insegnato ad amare i genesis
Emocional rescue
I saw this tour in Toronto. Amazing
Beutifull , Steve has been a very talented Underated Artist all these years
UnderRated by whom?
The drummer's voice sounds a little weak.
This opens with Black Light, before Horizons.
Come back Gary, all is forgiven.
The full 5 heads Genesis lineup really had superpowers. Each member contributed with unique talent. Lovely songs for their best eras.
Yes, indeed!
ma préférée
Excellent performance!
Thanks for posting. This was my very first concert. Warms my heart.
My son was into to rap had him listen to this song he loved it ,i always been a genesis fan but after Duke album they sold out but early stuff greatest music of all time
There is some good stuff on Duke (Duke's reprise, etc), but yes, it does not compare. They made some good stuff throughout their career, but the early 'classic' albums are incomparable.
@@kevinroche3334 but it was half good half commerical and then they turned sappy .Trick of the tail was great but nothing beats the lamb .
Unfortunately Steve has become a Genesis tribute band. I know he had a hand in writing, and played on these songs, but he chose to part company with the others to seek a solo career. It is almost an insult that he is now exploiting peoples nastalja.
Long live Western culture!!!
lovely and flawless as always !!
Today’s comforting to remember Steve playing in Genesis concerts yet I’m also privileged to have seen the Gabriel version of it but most importantly what a creative dreaming period; thanks to all prog bands
Such a great song.
Who else had their mind go straight into " Walking across the sitting room I turn the television off" at the end of horizons ?
Music of the Gods, a classic Genesis masterpiece. Didn't think the singer did it justice and that clarinet sounded like a singing penis, (should have been more understated and ghostly). Steve Hackett was on top form though and I suppose that is what counts.
7:16 He could sing in any metal band in these days! What a Thunder\o/
Très belle interprétation. Bravo. Steve est un super guitariste.
Horizons is a tad rushed?
It must be good as Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford both like the song.
So nicely done ! Two of my favorites that are we’ll placed together. Very moving.
....visto che meraviglie può scrivere uno che da giovane ha studiato Bach..............????
I have tickets for the Genesis 'Domino's Tour, but I have to say that SH has totally replaced them in my eyes. 'Blood on the Rooftops' was always one of my favourite tracks (so many Genesis linked) so thank you for posting on TH-cam.
This is amazing
The singer is perfect! Much better than collins ever did
I love this performance.
