Never add ice at the beginning. Always mix primary ingredients first. Use larger ice cubes. At least 1 1/4” and all the way to the top of the glass to control melting. Dale Degroff would shake his head at you.

Agreed, diverse list. Bombay is garbage. Seriously, it sucks. Never order it. You’ll look foolish by anyone that knows gin. Sipsmith is the best. Highclere Castle is great too. Haymans solid too. Plymouth is very unique, almost earthly tones. It’s very good.

Smelling without tasting is kind of anti-climactic. We don’t just smell a bottle and walk away. Disappointing.

I have never cared for Gin until I tried Plymouth and really enjoy it. I buy the "Navy Strength" coming in at 57%. On my next trip to the liquor store I'll look for the Ransom Old Tom. Thank you for the recommendations.

Say whaaaat? Marie Brizard founded her company in mid 18th century in partnership w/her nephew distilling Anisette the libation du jour; however the colouring for Parfait Amour is clearly listed as “Mauve Blue food coloring”. No secret. idk if your libation du jour is meth or coke but scary.
