    Hi Jerr! I was wondering how things are going regarding Oak Island. Anything new? I assume with it being Spring they are up there working once again. I have been following that saga since 1962 and have realized since the late-1990's, when the Geological Survey of Canada based in Dartmouth did their work up there at the island, that it is not a treasure hunt but something more significant archaeological in nature. My university education is in engineering and I know that Marty Lagina, an accomplished engineer, can solve the Oak island mystery. I would write my thoughts on that but not on this public forum. If you have any connections up there, suggest to them that divers need to locate the two (2) possible cave/niche "submerged" entrances at the shoreline that appeared on bathymetric maps and also "visible" on one of your past drone videos and determine if they lead beneath the island to caverns. This would get into the realm of mining and marine engineering but it might be all they have at this point to solve the Oak Island mystery. Sorry so Lengthy! --- John (Toronto, ON)

    Hello Jerr! Speaking of Oak Island, I was again musing over my amazing Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) nautical chart 4381 of Mahone Bay and I again wonder "why" the many, apparently different, ancient visitors to Oak Island from across the Atlantic Ocean over the past two millennium made their way to the coast, completely bypassing the massive Aspotogan Peninsula, and then sailing/rowing into Mahone Bay passing nearly three hundred islands all the way up to little "Oak Island" which is way up in the corner of Mahone Bay..... That in itself is a real mystery/enigma/riddle. There must have been something extremely special about Oak Island to the ancient peoples from Europe and the Middle East who sailed/rowed into Mahone Bay. Maybe you could possibly pass these comments along to the "powers-that-be" at Oak Island as they might give a broader perspective to the Oak Island mystery. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and All the Best in 2022! --- John (down in Toronto)

    I haven't written in a long time. Was there any outcome or resolution at Oak Island this year? I see that ROC Equipment is (coming) back up there to do a caisson. Any news you can share? I hope things are okay. Thanks! --- John (Toronto)

    • @JerrsAerialPhotographyVlogs
      @JerrsAerialPhotographyVlogs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey John, Good to hear from you! Yes ROC and Irving did come to the island this year. They came back in September. I would love to tell you the outcome but I can't disclose anything if I want to be employed there next season. You will have to watch the show! Thanks for the message though! Hope all is well with you!! Jerr.

    • @johnwoa
      @johnwoa 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JerrsAerialPhotographyVlogs Thanks for your reply, Jerr! Wishing you the best of luck with getting employment up there! I fully understand the confidentiality and the non-disclosure agreements that are associated with the show and it is frustrating, but without the Reality TV show and all the funds being put into it, none of this search/excavation work would be happening. That island sat idle and dormant for many, many years before the Laginas got involved with it. I've been following this Oak Island saga since 1962. I do have questions about Oak Island that are not connected to what is currently going on with the show (e.g. the "ancient" Canopy Oak Trees), but maybe I can ask them at a future time. I truly hope that the Oak Island team and the First Nations Peoples (i.e. the Mi'kmaq) can reach an agreement of cooperation and understanding where everyone works together, including the provincial and federal governments, to do what Dan Blankenship said many years ago--- not to get rich by finding treasure at this point, but to completely solve the Oak Island mystery. Please stay in touch! --- John
