Satan's chief work is at the headquarters of our faith. He spares no pains to corrupt men in responsible positions and to persuade them to be unfaithful to their several trusts. He insinuates his suspicions and jealousies into the minds of those whose business it is to do God's work faithfully. The great heart of the work is at-----; and, as the human heart throws its living current of blood into all parts of the body, so does the management at this place, the headquarters of our church, affect the whole body of believers. A Line of Demarcation.--A deep and thorough work of reform is needed in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The world is not to be allowed to corrupt the principles of God's commandment-keeping people. Believers are to exert an influence that bears witness to the power of heavenly principles. Those who unite with the church must give evidence of a change of principle. Unless this is done, unless the line of demarcation between the church and the world is carefully preserved, assimilation to the world will be the result. {2MCP 559.3} Through association with the world our institutions will become unsubstantial, unreliable; because these worldly elements, introduced and placed in positions of trust, are looked up to as teachers to be respected in their educating, directing, and official position, and they are sure to be worked upon by the spirit and power of darkness; so that the demarcation becomes not distinguished between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not. The parable is given by Jesus Christ in regard to the field in which it was supposed had been sown pure wheat, but the entrusted ones look upon the field with disappointment, and inquire, "Didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?" Pastor, help me to understand. I have not left the church, nor am I an offshoot. However, I would like to understand the following questions So you are saying that those pastors who are told NOT to preach the 3 angles messages, not to preach Ellen Whites writings to the church, to join wirh the ecumenical movement etc and if they dont comply they are suspended from preaching God's words, are not paid a salary and are told not even to pray in someone's home or else..... What should those pasrors do? How will they maintain themselves and their families? Just sit at the back bench in the church and sigh and cry? Or should they just join in with the false prophets in the church, go along with the false preaching to deceive the whole world and join in with the ECUMENICAL MOVEMENT of the false prophets if he wants to survive? These leaders in the time of Jesus first coming were expecting Him to come with chariots and horses and excitement, that’s why they didn’t believe in Jesus. They were too physical not spiritual. I noticed that about the Jewish leaders.

I have heard it said that Elen white said those who store up food as to depend on themselves. Will find food with bugs or gone bad. Walk by Faith. Not believing in ones self. But depending on God almighty. Or maybe the poor who own no property to farm will be martyred?
