    You got this! There will be good days and bad days but keep going. Consistency is key, even if progress is minimal... I did IF for a year and still doing it and have lost over 35kg alhamdulillah but i eat everything ( in moderation) and if i have a bad day or even a bad week, I put it to bed and carry on... Tomorrow is a new day. And i agree with other comments about not weighing yourself... I also didn't weigh myself for almost a whole year coz i know ill get fixated on the numbers and ill self sabotage if the scales don't move. So my advise is make small changes, dont over restrict or deprive yourself, that way it's easy to stick to and keep off the scales for now, instead judge your progress from your clothes. You got this❤

    Literally don’t give up!! The weight machines are soooo unreliable! I also felt that way but then saw all of sudden dropped like 5lbs. Maybe also they cumin tea first thing in the morning? Spearmint tea also helps with pcos!

    Reduce sugar and carbs. If you think you may have hormonal issues, go low carb, reduce sugar, and eat things that are low glycemic.

    Hi Maria, the comment I made was not to hurt you. I was plus size all my life. I tried 100’s of diet plan and methods but nothing worked. I’ve been in your shoes. I had to get a weight loss surgery to get my life back together. What you are doing is brave, I was never successful. I have been through it which is why I’m saying that food choices matter if you want to lose weight. I used to eat well all week and break my diet on the weekend and I was never able to lose weight. Any lost weight would come back. Wish you the best .

    Salaams again Maria, I was worried people's mean comments would follow and I'm so sad that people feel the need to be that way! All we can do is make Dua for them to be granted Hidayat and softness... I'm so pleased you found my comment helpful, I also have cortisol issues and not PCOS but endometriosis. Food is fuel and I can't believe people are telling you to eat once a day or cut so many things out. We should enjoy everything, there are ways around it so we don't feel restricted but also don't harm our health. It's all connected and impacts us all differently as you rightly said. The best dieticians will tell us not to cut things out, and I follow a few! Exercise is another step and it isn't for others to judge you, I know how hard it is to try and exercise when you have health conditions and hormone imbalances to consider.. Allah SWT bless you and make it easy for you, Ameen 🤲🏽💐

    9 pounds is amazing, ive lost 7 pounds in 6 weeks. I weigh myself once every 6 weeks because weight fluctuates on a weekly basis and i didnt want to get demotivated.

    Hiya, im a new subscriber here. Really like your fat loss journey as you remind me of myself. I too, started a few years ago after yo yo dieting when i weighed 120kgs. I started to walk more, ate evrything but in moderation compared to before, ate in a calorie deficit and have started to lift weights for strength gain, muscle gain and fat loss. I am now 87kg and still going. I do have days where i almost binge but i always get back the following day because i do not want to be my old self from a few years back. You can do it, once you overcome all your fears and trust me you will love the new you. What i also will suggest is seeing a trained nutritionist/coach who can give you an RMR test. This will give you clear results of how much exactly your body burns when doing nothing at all and they will work with you whilst giving you a good calorie deficit count to keep track of regarding your food. Also, myfitness pal app is really good for tracking everything you eat. I hope you find this information useful and if you ever need any more advice, dont hesitate to ask. I can totally relate to your journey. Good luck and keep going. Rrmind yourself that the number on the scale is only a minor thing along your whole fatloss journey. Theres soo much more to it.

    Salaams. You can do this Maria, don’t let the negative comments get to you. Intermittent fasting works 100%. Maybe do a calorie deficit to jump start the system again. Have you tried apple cider in hot water in the morning? That helps with metabolism too. (Tastes gross but works)😊 good luck and don’t give up

    Mine was pregnancy weight. Im diabetic, on 2 antidepressants and im anaemic so i totally understand you. Sorry u felt this way about my comment, i do have BED as well, obesity bloomed during preg, but ive finally learn it. InshAllah you will get there, anyways keep going ❤

    Salaam sister. Messaging you from the UK. Don't lose hope. All I will suggest before you do anything, look into the "Glucose Goddess" method. Just Google it. It's not about diet but more about some simple hacks to implement. It all starts in the gut (well all the problems with health). You might suit this method, she says eat what you want but it's more about the order you eat it in. E.g, veg, protein then carbs, then dessert. Good luck, insha'Allah this will help.

    Dont lose hope, you will find what works for you in sha allah, i have piled on the weight since i had my gallbladder removed,, seven kids didnt help neither does my workplace puddings🙈, ive fot to the point where i really feel, you only live once so enjoy it,, its whats on the inside that counts not the outside, but i do underdtand where tour coming from,, maybe go for walks each day and build the distance and speed,, however you do it, good luck but dont ever think your not enough just because your not skinny,, skinny is not everything, health and happiness Is,

      There's side affects to those and they don't work ones ur off the injections. In terms of the surgery its not about reducing the stomach, its more psychological issues, trauma maybe, u have to have therapy first.

    I love watching your videos i have pcos for many years I have always been on a waight loss journey but found low carbon to be the best option and jawar atta as a supplement for roti I hope this helps

    You have to make sure you’re in a calorie deficit. If you are eating within your allowed calories, you will lose weight regardless of what you eat. But to do this properly, you need to calculate your macros (and calories) and eat according to those. I have worked these out for many people over the years so if you wanted to help, let me know.

    If I were you I'd cut out the junk u really have to clean it up.. Carbs have one a day with lots salad.. Vegetables and chicken but avoid high salt and oil intake.. Recommend to keep a food journal write everything down

    Maria, the parathas gotta go! Have gluten free bread with avocado tomato. Then Drink meal replacement high protein shakes at least 3 thought out the day, then have main meal before 6pm, 80% vegi 20% meat. No rice or potato. Stick to this, u see different very soon. Every day it will become a habit, so on special occasion you can treat yourself and go all out just for that day! Good luck 👍

    salaam, dont give up on the intermitting fasting, I've done that it works, only thing id recommend is eat more nuts and also try to stay away from sugars like in soft drinks, parathas (for now give them up and reintroduced them in a couple of months)remember we are all not perfect dont be hard on yourself, focus on the journey !! best of luck u got this!!!
