I have a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and i haven't had any issues with it. It's amazing and i wouldn't trade it. Love the way it looks
as a Honda owner I can appreciate the beauty in high power v8's and still choose to buy a90s jdm . Beautiful car . Seems like it's forgotten by most tho ....

Drake at the gates
Thanking you really...
Stupid
I've owned maybe 30-35 different cars. Japanese and European mostly. I've had more issues with BMW Mercedes than anything. Japanese of course top notch but most cars were pretty good. I've never heard anyone recommend a Land Rover for quality(I've also owned LRover). lol. I have Pentastar on my Gladiator and it seems fine to me but I do hear people sqwauking about it like it's underpowered.. I think depends on a persons driving style. I don't really notice it being underpowered. I never understood the need power to pass thing. I've had some very week cars like civic and I've never in 40 years felt like I needed V8 get around someone.. maybe on two lanes in a very specific situation but I just pass when I can.
Do u need a tune with headers ?
@@Beendidtha ya, a tune is required to get rid of the engine light. I also needed the tune to run flex fuel as well
@@OctaneObsessedhow much did a tune cost you
@ the tune it self was probably 500-700. Don’t remember off the top of my head. There were other cost associated with getting the car tuned as well including the hptuners mpvi3, the wide band kit, the flex fuel sensor kit. Probably over $2000 all together easily.
Sounds so good, you can still toggle the valves of the factory npp right?
Absolutely. That’s the best part.
Cats or no cats? Sounds fantastic
@@colbygraves9298 no cats. Thanks!!!
@@OctaneObsessedwhat else you have besides the headers?
@ headers and flex fuel. Literally the only 2 things I’ve done.
@ how much RWHP? and it’s your daily?
@@VolumeUP_Performance honestly I haven’t had it has it on a dyno yet. Been super busy with work and kinda fell off the TH-cam wagon. Ya it’s my daily. I hit 20,000 miles the other day.
Best curb park though
Going to start looking at the GC s in the spring. 4 previous ones. Hate sunroofs due to what you experienced along with reducing ceiling height. Will be looking for a limited with no sunroof. Don’t know if that’s a unicorn. It was hard to find a 20 GC lim no sunroof but I found one last time.
Exhaust set up?
Factory NPP valved exhaust with arh 1 7/8 catless long tube headers
That's not a gintani, i think it is a novitec
Yeah it is
@@amiruddinhaziqbinmoohd no its ryft
That is in fact a gintani exhaust.
@@OctaneObsessed i work with cars, motors and exhaust since 2001, that's not a gintani
@ bad News, your experience has failed you because I know the owner. He has gintani and he’s partner has ryft. We have another friend that also has gintani, want to disagree over that one too?
I have a 2021 JGC 80th anniversary. I like it, I don't "love" it right now because I just had to replace the evaporator core at 40K miles. Luckily Stellantis covered all of the cost except for $274. This was a $2500 repair. Other than that no issues it feels solid, powerful, and drives nice. I also like the Jeep courtesy when out on the road, Jeep owners will know what this means. This is my second JGC (previously had a 2018) and got a ~$3K loyalty discount so I am tempted to buy a 2025 later in the spring. Still contemplating this. Note to auto makers: I will never buy a 4 cylinder hybrid, turbo, no turbo, 4 cylinder PERIOD. I'll be looking at the Chevy Blazer RS which has the 3.6L V6 engine and 308HP. It looks great so I need to test drive it first.
These cons are enough to turn me away from the GC. Shame because it really is gorgeous.
Just bought a grand Cherokee L and the V6 pentastar is great with power no need to have a hemi. I also have the limited trim level which feels lux like my Alfa or a GLC 250 or Range Rover but more reliable. Next time just do your research if your not familiar with a brand
What is that exhaust
I have a 2019 Hyundai Sonata Limited with a panoramic sunroof that I paid $20k for at two years old, and now that is is going on six year old it has NEVER leaked. I’ve had a total of four Hyundai cars with sunroofs and they’ve never leaked. My wife has had two Toyotas with sunroofs that have never leaked and I’ve owned two Mitsubishi cars with sunroofs and they’ve never leaked. Stellantis is cutting corners and taxing its customers. They deserve whatever failure is coming their way.
Such a sick spec
Bullshit on the power.
what’s the reason for not being able to run it to the back of the rear view camera?
I guess you used to be able to, but they changed something and there’s not enough power To do that. This also gave a secondary lead for a dash cam and everything is switched power.
Beautiful. Make more of these videos 🔥
@@sameetsingh thank you brother, much appreciated. I’ve been slacking lately.
There is a big transmission problem on the 2021 Grand Chereokees. I took my car in for the 2nd time regarding this issue. Both times the car stalled on the road. Only 26k miles on the car. They fixed the tramission issue on the 2024 model I heard.
I had issues with mine. It would shutter really bad from 1st to 2nd and then slightly less 2nd to 3rd. It ended up being the valve body.
@@OctaneObsessed Is sad to say but the car is poorly made. I wouldn't own this car at all. This week going to trade mines in for something else. Abrand new 70k car shouldn't have any major problems
Fully-equipped, the HEAVIEST Grand Cherokee L leaves the factory at 5075 pounds.
Good point on the seat height & ceiling. I'm 6'4" & noticed it wasn't right either.
Good information and helpful tips. Some of ‘dislikes’ come with first generation redesigns. I would not buy a first generation car or first generation redesign - allow a year + for manufacturer to fix kinks and issues.
which one is louder one?
@@raaasul the 991 was louder. They both have the same exhaust but the 991 is catless while the 992 has sport cats. It makes a big difference.
@@OctaneObsessed thanks !
Crazy how i thought it was forza first 💀
@@engagedplains2706 needs a disclaimer “ this is not a video game”😂
what exhaust?
That was completely stock. Now it has headers with the factory npp exhaust.
@@OctaneObsessedi’ve been looking into getting an ss camaro what’s the best budget exhaust systems? I prefer catback sustems
@dylanbrokelc I haven’t heard too many. I think budget wise, a lot of people go for the mbrp catback. The corsa is definitely my favorite. Headers with the npp exhaust is absolutely perfect.
I’m moving to the mountains and need an suv to get up a very steep paved road, that sometimes has wet leaves. Super steep road. I’m looking for a 3 row suv that’s very plush with comfortable seats, I’ve looked at the grand Cherokee, ford explorer, Lexus TX, Acura md-90. It also needs to be comfortable for long road trips, with two people, Two big labs, and a lot of stuff. My budget would be about $70000. But paying less would be great. Any ideas for me?
I have a lot of confidence in Lexus and their new suv look pretty nice. If you’re doing steep inclines, go for a v8 or whatever the higher power engine option is. If you go with the jeep, get the 5.7 hemi rather than the v6
NEVER listen to dummies on the side attempting to urge you on. Your car costs more than the little house they live in so why are you listening to trash on the sideline? lol Pitiful. smh
Remember is USA made car not Japanese, Ok are we clear. I have one and I love it can't spect more from a USA made car
I got a 2024 Chevy Camaro. My first car, it’s in a vivid metallic orange and convertible.
Thank you so much for the review. You saved me a fortune
Making all other ZR1s more valuable one mistake at a time.
Dude I have a 23 jeep l summit. I wasn’t expecting a damn Range Rover or Escalade, but for what I paid I honestly got a nice truck. It plows through the snow, it’s not fast but it’s normal for a family car. I love how it looks outside and inside compared to cars in its class. I haven’t had an issue since I bought it going on over 2 years! Everywhere I go it turns heads! I have the white and black with black interior. I know some people are different but I love mine.
I’m contemplating in getting a z28, reason why is I hear 7liters have that valve drop issue… question, if I were to replace the heads with new tsp heads would that solve that issue?? Or would I still need to be checking my valve specs every couple thousand miles??
New heads will solve the issue, or get your factory heads worked on. Valve guides and seats will solve the problem but while you’re there, you might as well completely redo the heads with new springs, valves etc and maybe even port it
I have the 2024 Summit and absolutely love it. Bought it in December 2023. Drove it up and back to Florida. It is super comfortable and the semi-autonomous driving is wonderful. No issues with the panoramic sunroof so far. The 6 cylinder engine is really good. I get around 23 mpg mixed driving. The air suspension is great as is the McIntosh stereo system. Mine is fully loaded to the point is a Summit reserve with Napa leather instead of Palermo. Honestly, its just a great car and I think James got a dud, which I'm very sorry to hear. Nobody wants that.
I’ve definitely had my fair share of duds with FCA products. Mostly because I buy every vehicle in its first year of production.
@@OctaneObsessed Yep and that's the sad truth about buying any vehicle in its first year of production. The sunroof issue though is something that should never happen. I met a guy who has an F150 with a large sunroof. He said he never used until one day wanted to open it just to see it work. It cracked as soon as he opened. Ford would not cover it so he bought an extended warranty and waited 6 months to make the claim. How sad is that.

On what pin do I plug into ?
#38 Check out the link below because there’s a diagram showing which pin. Mine was a little weird because when most people were saying, there was a gray blank in there mine didn’t have a gray blank. It was actually part of the casting so it was just a chunk of plastic and I had to get a screwdriver and knock it out . www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=469951
@@OctaneObsessed thanks brother I’ll check it out, installing it right now as we speak
@boostedstopz9593 best of luck, my video turned out sub par because the pin really threw me for a loop. Let me know how it turns out for you.
@@OctaneObsessed hey wassup bro, everything went good with the install, I just installed the lt2 intake manifold and got the car tuned and it’s running fine but there a rattling sound by the firewall any idea why it’s doing that ?
