Augusta County Bass Club Tournament

Checking out the Chick lake in advance of a tournament. We caught some nice fish 1- 3 pound and 1 - 5 pound. Had trouble with the camera's shutting down because the batteries got hot. It was a hot day with temperature 95 .

Fun day fishing on the James before a scheduled tournament. The tournament was cancelled due to tropical storm Debbie.

Fished an Augusta County Bass Club tournament with Grandson David Aron. We did not catch a lot of fish, but had fun trying.

Pre-fished for Augusta County Bass tournament on the Rappahannock River. Launched from Little Falls Boat Landing. It rained most of the day we pre-fished. Had trouble with video camera from the moisture, so not much footage. We did catch a snakehead pre-fishing. Winner of tournament had around 14 lbs. We placed 4th.

Fishing a two day tournament with Augusta County Bass club. The first day went well placing fourth. We did have a little bad luck breaking a rod and loosing a plug retriever pole. The second day did not go as well. We caught two fish before 10 am. Then the trolling motor locked up on high speed and would not steer. We had been catching fish on deep points. Impossible to fish without the trollin...

My fishing partner Robert and I fishing an Augusta County Bass Club tournament on the Potomac river. We launched out of Willow Landing Marina on Aquia Creek. Fun day of fishing, Caught some nice fish.

Fished an Augusta County Bass club tournament on the cold side of Lake Anna. We launched out of Sturgeon Creek marina. We finished the day with 5 fish weighing 8.03 lbs.

Fishing a Augusta County Bass Club tournament on Smith Mountain Lake. We did better than the last tournament on Lake Moomaw. We had four fish and a total weight of 7.94 pounds. We didn't loose any fish this time either. It was a windy day, You can view the award presentation at the end of this video.

First tournament of the year. We did not do good. Had difficulty keeping them hooked. Mid pack on the points

Traveling east on West Main Street in Waynesboro. Clipped a deer, no damage to truck. Praise the Lord.
