How to Size and Choose Hockey Shoulder Pads
i'm 6'2 and use a 62" stick, mainly play center and right wing.
1"1/4 is the sharpening I've been on for years. Gives you some elite glide and it's also much healthier for your hips than some crazy 1/2" that no pro uses.
I switched from Bauer ultrasonic one to CCM XF pro . I had no idea how to answer the question I expected trouble but they put the ellipse profile with 9/16 ice in my hometown is very hard but my right foot felt like it was raised half an inch and I kept toe picking lol wtf
Is this p86 a max blade
No not max blade
Are you gonna put this curve on the pro blackouts?
It’s on the pro black out “custom” made to order
“Zegras” curve listed under their “pro black out custom” (only low kick)
Is there anywhere besides pro stocks sticks that we can buy this curve
Labeled as “Zegras”
What curve is closest to a p7 iginla curve? I can't find anything close and thay was my go to with an easton forever, thanks
My son is pretty light, 4’6 and only about 75lbs. I’ve just been doing 1/2 inch for him and it seems to be working. How often does it need to be sharpened typically?
1/2" is certainly a good choice, never hurts to try a 7/16" to really dial in what works! Typically every 5-8 hours on the ice is when you should get a sharpen but some customers who play higher levels may opt for less time in between sharpens.
0:13 P28, P88, and P92 🙃
Hey, Can you guys please make a pro blackout with the tactille grip like the red and blue light please. A white stick with the tactile grip would also be cool, thanks
Innovations like this are in the making, stay tuned as we take over the hockey market
What is the closest cure to the Jerome iginla cure on the Easton syenergy ??
p88 i'd say. was my go to as well
Orange.
Just ordered my 90 flex blue-lite! Love how the flexes are stock rated so I can cut down to 60” without affecting flex! Soon as I see an 80 flex I’m buying a 2nd!
How does it play and hows the pop?
@ It feels like a 95 flex. Would of loved to try the 80 flex but I like it a lot. I’ll never pay $360 for a stick again. I’m trying to get my hs players to switch over from their name brands. I’m sure their parents would appreciate the price break.
@@jmoak311 interesting. I'll probably pass then. I use a 70 flex and don't want it to feel like a 75. I do rmbr their extra lite 75 flex felt like an 80-85 so I returned it. Would you say the mid kick feels more like a Nexus or a tacks.
@ I’m 215 lbs. so I can definitely handle the 90 flex. All my players use 70 and I don’t know how you guys do it. The puck feel is awful lol. Not that you’re not buying your own gear (not sure how old you are) but for $150 there’s no way I’d let 5 flex points deter me from buying it. I’d just do a few more sets of squats lol. To me it feels more like a Bauer.
@jmoak311 I'm an adult lol. I def notice a difference between 70-75 bc I cut my sticks down a bit. I'm 5'10 166 lbs and I like to have my sticks reach the bottom of my chin on skates. So with ccm sticks I actually chop a lot down. Blue lite may not be an issue since they allege that the flex rating is actually a bit whippier at the full length vs 60" but who knows what that really means
What helmet is that?
1000th sub🎉
On your website it says. The blue out is a low kick can u confirm to me that it’s a mid
Website says the blue lite is mid-kick.
Do the blue one in black
Yes!
An amazing stick
What is the difference between the pro blackout and the value blackout
Any info on the blade technology ?
Unfortunately the sticks aren't great :( It has no pop and a dead blade feel. Just my honest opinion. Sorry.
Please give some more info on the blade. I’ve heard complaints stating blackout stick having dead blades. How are the blades on these particular HSM models. Thank you
What brand and type of epoxy do you use?
How much do pro stock pants like the HP UCLP break in? I tried a pair on and they were markedly less mobile than a retail pant. I'm more interested in mobility than protection and looking for a lightweight and mobile pant that doesn't totally sacrifice on durability.
85 Flex
why is the shirt so long 😭
you guys should make the other pro blackout in extended height for us tall people
Does it have a flex rating lower the. The top of the stick?????
Do whiteout
I added a 1 inch wooden extension to my 64” pro blackout
Whiteout next pls!
Can I get one for free?
Kind of a shame the kick points are different based on the colours...
Ya... Id never rock a red stick but depending on the brand mid kicks don't work for me.
I’m confused, I use a p88 so I can’t get the new color sticks, but I wanted to get the regular blackout extra light but it isn’t 365 grams like you mentioned. Is this just not yet updated?
Agree. Colour should just be a variable, not related to the other specs. My team is blue but I use a low-kick. Red stick against blue jers would probably be distracting. Black would be good, but it's still listed as 400g...
@@kell7689the Pro Blackout Extra Lite line remains unchanged, and the only stick lineup in the world to offer over 30+ different types of curves. The Red Lite Blue Lite only come in P92 and P28 and while we understand that it would be cool to offer different colors in different kick points it isn't feasible given the number of products we are carrying at this time.
Are them shorter than the average Bauer stick at 70 flex?
62" at 70 Flex
Green, and then combo green and blue or red and blue!
I would like to do Green at some point in the future. Stay tuned.
Are the HP45 discontinued? Getting harder and harder to fine them these days. Also, I lost some weight and I am debating going from XL to L HP 45. I like the length on the hp45 XL. Are the Large size much shorter? debating if I would want a +1 in the large HP45. I am 6ft 200 right now
I’m thinking about purchasing the stx halo gloves and it says you only have them in size 13 but on your website it also shows other sizes
Do you use any particular type of thread for these type of repairs?
I use size #92 thread or an upholstery thread that is the same color as the palm of the glove
Nice
Hi The HockeyStickMan visited your Facebook page and website and found that your website has no ranking at all and nothing of any engagement or followers on your Facebook and others I am a professional digital marketer who has been working on Fiverr for 11 years I have a HUGE portfolio of client If you need this service I can provide the best service
Please sell the blackout sticks in longer lengths
You guys should offer these in longer shaft lengths. I'm 6'5" and like using a 67" shaft, so I'm forced to either scour your pro stock for years in hopes of something popping up (and being stuck with whatever model/curve/flex it has), or using an extension plug which is a terrible choice. Tall hockey players aren't exactly a rarity, surely there would be a demand for longer sticks?
Buy an extension. How long have you been playing and u dont know that ?
@@P-DOGG-db4oj Did you even read my post before replying? I clearly mention using extension plugs in there. Having a one-piece stick is by far a better option.
@@memphus i meant to say use your buttplug i know u have one of those
@@memphusthese goof balls bro I stg 😂
they only offer the extended (64") on the pro blackout Extra Light, kinda a whack strategy. Tough that theres not enough tall budget sticks for guys like us
Jetspeed*
When will you guys be getting intermediate ft7 pro Bauer nexus tracer trigger 9 pro and qr6 pro
Pick me!
It looks like there's a four inch difference in length between the two sticks. How can you possibly use that as a valid comparison?
He is also doing sweeping wrist shots while not actually bending the stick
Great content, might want to lower the camera ISO and increase the volume next episode though
i miss the datsuk p38. Just like a p88 but it had a square toe
Prostocksticks sells them
Such an awesome curve, I have an old 9k reebok w/holes Datsyuk curve hanged up retired
