Dark Side of the Moon REDUX is Terrible
มุมมอง 275ปีที่แล้ว
What does it sound like when Roger Waters strokes his own ego? It sounds like Roger Waters Dark Side of the Moon REDUX. A boring, dull, snorefest of an album that does nothing, except make you appreciate what Nick Mason, Richard Wright, David Gilmour, Claire Torry, Dick Parry, and others contributed to the original.
Roger Waters: Money DSOTM REDUX - It's a Gas! (The fart kind)
มุมมอง 536ปีที่แล้ว
The milking continues... Honestly, I don't get the comments on Roger's video. Some people are absolutely gushing over this new Money version, saying they're crying, better than the original, a masterpiece, Roger's best work... what???? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!!

Why was Rick Wright FIRED From Pink Floyd?

Might not be as simple as one would think.
The Beatles "Get Back" reaction - my initial thoughts
มุมมอง 2803 ปีที่แล้ว
If you haven't seen it yet, The Beatles Get Back is on Disney . just get a free trial, watch it, then cancel if you don't want to keep the streaming service. But any Beatles fan owes it to themselves to watch this thing in its entirety at least once.

Pink Floyd - A Saucerful of Secrets (with brass, choir, and explosions!)(Royal Albert Hall 06/26/69)
มุมมอง 6493 ปีที่แล้ว
Taken from a RoIO of the band's Royal Albert Hall concert on June 26, 1969 where they performed the Man and the Journey suite. It's possibly the best performance of the piece, although the radio broadcast from Amsterdam from September 1969 is the best known, and the best sound quality. This particular performance of A Saucerful of Secrets features brass ensemble and choir, more than a year befo...
Pink Floyd - Looking Through The Knotholes in Granny's Wooden Leg (or more simply, Echoes)
มุมมอง 1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Taken from a spectacular concert in Böblingen, Germany on November 15, 1972. The band was firing on all cylinders this night, and this version of Echoes is one of their best. This performance has been released on numerous RoIO's (or bootlegs), most notably on Granny Takes a Trip and The Return of the Sons of Nothing. Sportshalle Böblingen, West Germany 11/15/72
Santana - WBCN FM Broadcast (Live!- July 4, 1982 Cape Cod Colosseum, Mass.)

Amazing show from the early 80s lineup of the Santana band. They also performed Soul Sacrifice, but the video kept getting blocked. Carlos Santana - guitar Alex Ligertwood- vocals/ guitar Richard Baker- keyboards David Margen- bass Graham Lear- drums Armando Peraza - bongos Raul Rekow - congas Orestes Vilato- timbales
Pigs on the Wing (1 and 2) - Pink Floyd cover by Flyin Pig Music

I found this recording I did about ten years ago. I completely forgot all about it. Very primitive recording compared to what I do now, but I rather like it. I hope you do too. Thanks for watching and listening.

Pink floyd making a mashup of themselfs.
Very interesting documentary, even though stuff like Roger's laser eyes etc etc are totally superfluous.
Ilove this music from the master carlos santana love for the universe 🇲🇽🌎❤️ 😂
That's torch. Radiating light. Gentile statue. Of the essence. Come within. Go without. Make it into the pause. You can't congeal. It will gel. Gelatinous humming neanderthal apocryphal into a hair pin destiny. try not to decide now. You won't into the challan make.
I'd really like to see what was producing those sounds.
This is a better recorded quality live version of Main Theme from More than others i have heard.
I was there for this show. Does anybody remember that thick fog overcast and the stage lasers shining through the fog, I dropped a tab of LSD what a trip😊
Roger Waters is a brilliant song writer but a really nasty piece of work
Hearing Plant talk while Jimmy plays a bit at the beginning is the best thing ever
❤ yes! 🙋🏻♀️
I was there. Also at Veterans Stadium In May of '88 for two shows on the same tour. I saw All 3 Philly shows.
JFK Sept 19 1987....Echoes was the first song and 120000 fans went nuts!!!
Start at 2:50. Just a bunch of nonsense chatter and tuning before then.
the black bentley elgin ave to chelsea 😥
waters has always been an asshole
So, no mention of coke addiction?
If Syd didnt felt down and let Waters being the leader like John did to Paul in 1967, Pink Floyd would be more iconic than Rolling Stones, Zepellin, Queen, Nirvana or Oasis.
I think the singing is quite good. Yes, loud voice, but in tune.
Nick and Dave were ready to call it…but Rog called for one more once-around. Mason seemed pissed off about it and started assaulting his kit!
I am canadian of welsh decent our greatgrand mother would tell us about that place
You almost can't record this fast and loud enough
someone should edit the movie with this soundtrack
This was one of the very best Santana performances I've seen. Santana reached their peak i 1973. Strange that only 1000 people have watched this video after 3 years.
A great version. There.s another great one from Japan originally featured on the Lotus album. Santana reached their very peak in 1973.
Azimuth Coordinater is a great set of concert bootlegs. Play them back to back at least once a month while i smoke my now legal marijuana.😊
Wow, this is the best rendition of Soul Sacrifice Ive ever heard, and ive heard many
DOESNT FOLLOW THE SONG AS IS
I've read his favorite album was Wish You Were Here. You really hear him on this album!
Jimmy never played this 1 live during the '75 tour due to his left hand being injured in a small mis-hap, however he used his 3 fingered technique instead on all the songs played on stage, he was quite dissatisfied with his self for not playing this 1 on that tour though he wanted his fans to see the other acoustic side of him. It's still a gem to hear this after 54 years. It's in a C A C D G E tuning or D A D G A D. He used these tunings during their acoustic sets, check them out ! Cheers !
I play it in C A C G C E Beautiful tune!
Look at Carlos’ strap button!
There's a touching moment during the 'Pulse' concert vid, where they are doing 'great gig' w/ David on the pedal steel. He looks over at Rick and they both smile, seeming to say.......yeah man....this was the coolest thing ever. I've watched that dozens of times. (the stage production on that show was way over the top.....bordering on Spinal Tap territory, but great playing)
Someone in a Pink Floyd documentary claimed that after Syd left, the band never recorded another happy song.
Many thanks. I was enjoying such an oportunity in Bogotá.
Pink Floyd’s sound and success were due to the collective whole of every member in the band. Each of them brought their individual talent and creativity into the band. That’s why Roger Waters later solo albums sounded like Roger Waters and not Pink Floyd. The intro into Waters penned Sheep would not have sounded the way it did if not for Wright. Wright played with a unique jazz perspective, and often used progressions and extensions that were unique to the PF sound. In fact Wright should have insisted on co writing credits for Sheep.
...because RW is a complete melt.
15. The Final Cut 14. The Endless River 13. Momentary Lapse 12. The Division Bell 11. More 10. The Wall 9. Ummagumma 8. Atom Heart Mother 7. Obscured By Clouds 6. Meddle 5. Animals 4. Wish You Were Here 3. Saucerful of Secrets 2. Dark Side of The Moon 1. Piper At The Gates of Dawn I find the Wall quite tedious at times. I sold my double vinyl of it as a result. Pipers mono mix sounds great, youre right. I also have an original mono vinyl of Saucerful of Secrets. So, in my opinion the last truly great Floyd album is in fact Animals, an amazing record. I enjoyed your assessment and it obviously inspired me to think about my own list. Looking back at it, its clear for me that the Top 6 are in a class of their own, from Meddle to #1. Cheers.
most beautiful live performance ever recorded
😳!! He was fired for looking too much like Syd Barrett!! 🤣
I love Roger but that was so mean 😕 R.I.P. Rick
Wright was brilliant..Waters is a c*by he was threatened by everyone. I never liked waters... egotistical gobshite. It's funny because Rick made more money on the wall tour than anyone.😅 Brilliant. You're sadly missed mate..same with Syd 🙏🏻🎸🎹
Roger being Roger ......piece of Ass ? And then again..❤PF !
the authentic floydian sound is due to richard wright
Böblingen, Sporthalle. My first Pink Floyd concert. Fantastic and unforgettable. Ticket price 11 DM (Deutsche Mark) = 5,62 € nowadays. Unbelievable. What happy times.
I believe he was full band member status on the division bell.
Wrong doesn’t make Wright. And it wasn’t right to fire Rick, it was wrong.
Sounds like Israelis
Free palestine
The best part of this story is how Rick was the only one who made money from the Wall tour.
Santana's guitar has a deeper tonal quality while Clapton's is a bit more high pitched in tone. Starts with Santana's solo followed by Clapton. Do I have that right?
Boring !,,,Should have done it like the Derek and the Dominoes Version...But then again in '75 Heroin was Clapton's Preference, So there you have it !
