Logan Spotters is a TH-cam channel dedicated to capturing aviation in Boston, as well as New England and the United States, perhaps someday, the world. I aim to bring the sights of Logan Airport and others to desktop and mobile screens all around the globe.

We are going to be staying away from BED for the foreseeable future

Obviously we won’t ignore BED, we will continue to reassess from time to time. If it becomes ok to spot again we’ll go. But from the sounds of it that won’t be anytime soon.
At 2:40, I was on that JetBlue A220-300 plane (Reg. N3023J) (Frank Sica) from Salt Lake City, Utah to Boston in February of 2023
I was there on Friday too, but I was on Bayswater St. Not a ton of action because half the departures were using runway 9, but got to spot the Lufthansa A340-313 taking off from 4R which is always a treat!
Plane at 13:02 is pmdg dassault owned by the pmdg who makes airplanes for flight simulator

Hey, as of right now we have no intentions of filming BED due to the escalated police presence at the airport. Some friends of ours were threatened with arrest by just being there to spot.

737s seem to use up so much more runway than the A320s on takeoff
As much of an avgeek that I am, I’m not sure why? My guess is the 737 has a smaller aspect ratio than the A320 and therefore needs more speed to achieve the same amount of lift.

How good is spotting from inside the terminals? What gate or concourse offers the best views of the runways?
Great if you’re in the right spot. Best terminals for spotting (when flying out of Logan of course) are Terminals B and C, with C having slightly better visibility
@@loganspotters How is the view from C31-34 for 4/22? Do planes or jetways block one's view? Can one hang out at E gates or C17-21 and see the internationals taxi in and out?
@@donbeyer2293 Planes will obstruct some of it. As for walking to E, I’m not sure I’ve never done it

This summer I’m recreating Boston Logan’s import in 1/400
I don’t know if it was your content I saw or someone else’s doing something similar but that looked SO COOL!
No it wasn’t mines since I haven’t made any 1/400 scale airport yet, I’m planing on making terminal c and e and it will be 1.6m long and 1.67m wide
