Yes!
Must of got a good price on it instead of paying 12g for the whole car haha
I think thats a much better idea. Will still be plenty of wow factor 👍
i think so too
I've always wanted to slap a turbo 4g63 in an l300, had a high roof double slider when I was 19
Toyota Crown V12? I know a toyota nut got one as the jewel in his collection.
It’s from a century not a crown, crowns are v8
Take it to SEMA if you quad turbo it
Would like ton
Im making a 6x6 dodge dakota 😂
Sounds cool
@DCCUSTOMSANDFABRICATION it's going to hopefully i just gotta figure out hot to make the rear axel spin
Ermagerd. Work on it. If you don't have content stop posting.
This is content tho, I’m finding an audience is interested for when I post my full length video
@@DCCUSTOMSANDFABRICATION keep doin your thing bro 💪
Its because you wound up the torsion bars and now have no flex in the front. Put new bump stops in and see if there is marks on them after turning a hard corner.
lol what
Is that compound or just single big spooly boy
Just a big twin scroll
These videos are amazing btu I'm always wondering, do these people have actual jobs or companies lol How in the name of zeus do they have the time.
I don’t have the time 😢
Hydraulic has a cool factor, but electric is easier to design, instal, repair, and control.
I’m thinking I might actually do the hydraulic fan now
Be able to keep the “fush and chups” warm. 👌
Haha yeah that's the plan!
When's the next progress update?
Soon I’ve just been super busy and haven’t had time to finish editing it
Alright.... who left the guy with adhd unsupervised 👀😂
Haha yup
I hope you are filming all of this for us for a feature film later. lol or at least a fair chunk of it.
I have filmed it all, just editing it still
@@DCCUSTOMSANDFABRICATION Awesome, can't wait.
Wicked
I’m so keen to see this when it’s done
Same it’s going to be crazy
As fun as turbos are for performance gains, you loose all the sexy V12 exhaust symphony. Have you considered the (massive task) idea of equal length 12 into 1 to gain that F1 screaming music?
Yes but I want the torque from turbos
Such a crazy fun project. For rear traction it would be interesting to hear the opinions of a mechanical engineer. Currently the weight of the rear is equally distributed the 4 contact patches. Under heavy braking tests the distribution may change enough to allow a pair of tyres to lock. I wonder if there would be a benefit in running different spring rates on the the 2 rear axles.
Electric may be common, but if $$$ was not a factor, hydraulic fans would be far more popular as i suspect they would be the most reliable and preferable fan. Not too hard to add a solenoid switch fluid bypass for water crossings.
How hard would it be to control a twin VNT setup? Hardly as cool as compound but maybe variable would get the full range of rpm/boost with more control
Nice work
What does it mean, the pistons are different? The assembled motor is a completely different matter. From the line of stock engines, this fine minivan clearly doesn't have enough power in today's world.
Dont go over 600
can test for viscous by filling it with steering fluid and plugging the connections, if it spins by hand viscous coupling, else no.
Everyone uses them so they must know what they’re doing!
Will be doing this for my 69 dodge truck in the next week ill be posting a video on my insta and youtube
I'll take Nissan codes any day
It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do, someone somewhere is going to think you’re an idiot. Just keep being yourself and keep building that weapon of a Landcruiser, doesn’t matter how long it takes as long as you’re happy with it is all that matters.
if you can get the R35 ones for a good price, go for it. front mount is the go. I love my subi and the fact the hood scoop is functional, but heat soak is a thing. you don't want to be out bush, with low airflow in the scoop while in boost in low range trying to do a hill climb or something. just the heat from the exhaust raising up will be enough to negate the benefits of a top mount intercooler past a certain point. if this was purely a street build, top would be fine. you will want to make sure you get some good high flow fans as going front mount will make cooling the engine a bit harder as you will be pre-heating the air for the radiator. steer clear of the davis craig shit, particularly their fan controllers as they fail. I tried going a fan controller with my old 4runner when the bearing went in the clutch fan and a 'cheap Chinese' one was over $700 for the bearing and housing alone. it was super unreliable. I ended up going a thermo fan out of a 3.5L magna as it was almost the perfect size, fairly slimline (no large motor protruding out), had 2 speeds and moved a lot of air. I got 2 fan temp switches (can't remember the exact temps, but think the first one was like 88c and the second was like 96c) so it had 2 speeds. the only problem I had with the system after that is one of the relays died. I had 2 relays, one was a random Chinese one I had lying around, the other was a narva one, the narva one was the one to fail. (to be fair, it was on the low speed side, so was used more). that was the good thing about that setup, it was 2 completely different sensors, relays and fuses from the battery, so if anything died on one, the other sill worked.
Yeah, I agree. I think front mount is the way to go, I think I’ll just be getting some straight blade fans, I don’t mind if they are louder as they work better, probably just gonna run the fans full time and have a switch for when I go through water
@@DCCUSTOMSANDFABRICATION you might have trouble keeping it up to temperature with it on constantly as thats what I did for a while between the failed controller and the 2 thermal switch setup and had trouble keeping heat in the engine.
You mean 1hdfte? Not 1hdtfte?
Hay Man yar doing good. It takes time to make a car from scratch.
Which one you gonna finish first
The van it’s not going to take much time of money, I’ll probably have it done in a couple more weeks
What transmission did u use.
Better than a cyber truck
That thing’s gonna be an absolute Rocket I’m guessing
Keep doing what you're doing! Exciting to see how your Delica will be with this engine!
Same it’s going to be wild
Hello, did you make any modifications to the evo engine to install it with the 4x4 transmission? It would be excellent if you upload a video with the details of the change
It's just the 4G63 head on the 2.4L bottom end.
It should already have Pajero sized diffs in it. But, yeah, later model Pajero diffs might be bigger, or at least they should be stronger than the versions from the 90s.
Not too sure I want to put LSD and lockers in it though, and Pajero sport brakes
Don’t ruin it with Land Cruiser or saf parts
Don’t want to
Nigga what? 😂
What trans?
H151 in 80 and l300 has stock 4x4 gearbox not sure about the code on that one
Как движка в коробку старую подошла или коробку и Мосты пришлось поменять???
that's gonna be so cool! ❤
compound turbo setup on a 4bj1t
So what’s your daily now?
I finally decided to just get a normal car haha
@ hahaha
4g63t wideblock?
Yes
Bro gonna win
What am I winning
@@DCCUSTOMSANDFABRICATION$200 for who has the biggest truck
Remember my cousins VR4, that thing hauled ass. Will give the delica a new lease on life.
Yes! they are one of if not the best 4 cylinder turbo ever made
if you are looking at the lower end of boost you could go something like a TD04HL-20T off an early gen4 liberty/legacy (the 2.0 ones, not the 2.5's), they are a twin scroll turbo and get into boost super quick and early in the RPM range, they are a very responsive turbo even on the 2.0 in the subaru.
Very cool ride, awesome build.
