I'd argue that they're pretty similar in most of the woods ones except there was one where realtree kinda beat out the strata. However the strata seemed to be more versatile because it seemed to kinda beat out the realtree in the more mountainy areas. Realtree blends extremely well in woods, but strata isn't far behind and seems more versatile. So I think it just depends on if you want a camo that is really good at being versatile and good in the woods, or a camo that is really good in the woods and good at being versatile

On the tailgate side legs, you could bolt a round steel pipe between them and then carve out a half round groove in the bottom of each side of the frame where they fold back up. Then you would have more stability and be able to pull the back legs down as one piece.

Wait until you find out deer are color blind and even the best camo still ain’t gonna hide a poor set up with no back drop

What Camo are you rocking today, Gulch gear or something? ..nice! I'm still on the fence about my next Camo purchase, i've narrowed it down to Phantomleaf Wasp 1 Z1B or the Wasp 2 Z4 for some paint balling, figured it would turn some heads on the field , but theres so little info on them or field testing I'm still unsure about it. I really appreciate your content though on this subject.

I was used to regular vs. Deer vision, but Night vision is wild!, reminds me of the old school nintendo game Rad racer in 3d mode!😂 Hey, I was wondering if you could perhaps do a video on Phantomleaf Wasp 1, Z1b Camo, that one and the Z4 are very illusive for some reason on field tests.

The Kuiu just disappears in any backdrop with contrast.. I like Skre, but aside from a couple it was an easy win for kuiu

Are these good for early season deer hunting?

As far as terrain goes theres almost no difference. The biggest factor is light. Sunny day im wearing subalpine and darker days im rocking on3 of the either 2

If create a pattern that is already blurred, then you are no longer matching the natural cover. If the deer see a blurred woods I am still best served to match my surroundings as close as possible. Same with matching colors. If the back drop is dark grey, brown or green, match it. If it is bright blue or yellow my best bet is to where bright blue or yellow. No?

I've often wondered in reviewing all these different camo patterns, why is there no all spring green pattern? the predator one messed up by splotching all these other whites and browns, but wouldn't it make sense to have, basically a solid spring or sap green vietnam era style camo? I would buy that if it were available.

You can't compare ASAT with a picture like these. It has to be in the field. The yellow ban tan reflects all colors. So this is a misrepresentation of the patten.

How can I remove the UV with buying “specialized products”? I’ve read that Vinager, peroxide and baking soda works for this. What are your thoughts and would you be willing to test it?

Funny little spur. Do all turkeys have little spurs like that or was he a young guy? Coming from a chicken perspective.

I live in Southern California and usually hunt in dry plains to genuine desert mountains and hills. Which would you recommend for a more arid environment like that, say Northern Arizona area?

Grass and leafy, K2, rocks and tree trunks, Big sky. Big sky literally disappears in your Deer vision, tree stand background example.

Im really liking Valo in this simulation. Verde did disappear in some instances, and Vias sis in a couple. I own Valo, and have owned some Vias. I can say that the lighter colors of both seem to take on the surrounding color, tinting it towards that color. It’s too bad there is no simulation for that yet. These are great videos that you do and thank you for your time and sharing them!

so lame!! The pattern doesn’t look like that in any of those conditions this as lame as it gets

A good video, but it doesn't represent how the camo looks in real life situations. Why? Because your camo images aren't reflecting the light from the actual woodland environment. The light reflection, shadow and contrast is fixed in the original photos of the camo and the background. Superimposing a static image onto another one means they simply don't interact with each other. If you filmed the real thing in the woods, it would look very, very different. Like most of these, Woodland camo 'blobs out'... the patterns and colours are lost and it becomes a dark, human shaped 'hole' in the environment.
