To be fair, I can understand why it’s not canon. It would be weird for them to make Woods kill Mason, he shoots him in the leg, then no one checks to see if he’s actually dead or not. And did the body just disappear after Menendez left? What was Mason doing for 30 years? Who knows

I wouldn’t say it’s entirely bad. Menendez kills Woods, but the dude was like 100 at that point so it was going to happen soon anyway, and the way Woods reacted didn’t really give Menendez any amount of satisfaction. Plus Menendez killing himself at the end is good too, since he did it alone without anyone knowing meaning I didn’t martyr him for Cordis Die which would’ve made that movement even worse. Alex Mason is alive too, and they all got a happy reunion (I’m assuming he reunited with David as well). Sure, the cyber attack is set to happen, but the game ends in a vague way and never gets a direct sequel so 🤷‍♂️ We stopped the bad guys, but a lot of bad things still happened anyway-just like Mason killing JFK at the end of BO1. It’s a bleak victory, and I think that’s fitting of the name Black Ops

@ true but menedez is still a psychopath and not a great person and while he has some good points he still hurt a lot of people just to prove his point which is just wrong mess up in my opinion

@@NickDarkShadow. wasnt going to say this but there is a scene where david reunites with his father in the vault with woods. but because menendez survived, you didnt get it. you would get the reunion cutscene during the credits, where it would cut from the cutscene to the credits repeatedly, during your gameplay it was while menendez was talking to woods. thats why you didnt see it. also i hope you saw the very end credits scene with the music, its obviously just shits and giggles and has nothing to do with story lol

same but i was stupidly intrigued in the story, my dad always watched me play when i was like 8 or 9 and would tell me facts about the story and tell me what to do when i needed help but when i got to this mission he just shut up😂

me personally its so hard to choose which series is better, the first 3 black ops games (bo2 and before, the only good ones) or the OG modern warfare series. not gonna say shit about them obviously but i hope nick decides to play the OG mw series for the first time

@@NickDarkShadow. I can understand that and honestly truth be told the only cod campaigns I personally enjoyed were the original modern warfare trilogy and black opts 1 and 2 and Cold War and that’s about it.

I try my best 🫡 I’m surprised no one else recognized him when the game literally says it’s Kravchenko, but ah well, at least he’s done with now 👍 and yes, I did look up the Noriega lawsuit, I thought that was funny

@ really enjoying these vids man, i have no idea if you’ve ever played the campaigns for them or not but you should totally play the original modern warfare trilogy (not the new bs) if you’re able to.

I’ve got a ton of games planned before I consider another call of duty, but hey never say never I’ll always leave the door open to that possibility

Yes lol I did look it up, what’s funny is a lot of people look at my reactions in these videos and think those are my permanent thoughts forever and not how I was feeling in the moment, not saying you do that but sometimes people post spoilers for things in the future based on questions I have as if I’m not going to find the answers myself at some point 😭

I was so confused when the campaign immediately transitioned into zombies 😭 I’m treating this zombies map as the true ending to BO1

@ he isn't deaf genius he can hear and talk at the same time🤣 I'm the same way with ppl shutting up and paying attention but if you had seen all his videos on the series he payed attention and missed damn near nothing. and he probably wanted to let his thoughts out then and there so he wouldn't forget to say it

@ never said he isn’t deaf but to act like he can talk AND listen to something at the same time is crazy when your own vocal chords drown out surrounding sounds 😂😂 I mean it’s pretty common sense unless you’re a 7 year old which that would explain everything. Other than that, this is a short. Not a video so no I haven’t watched any of his videos nor do I want to if it’s going to be nonstop commentary overtop of the gameplay.

@ im workin rn i just commented on break because i found this vid on my recommended, but you best believe the first 3 parts are the first thing i watch when i get home i also wanna mention some “fun facts” (spoiler free obviously), the somewhat obvious one is that “ice cube” voices ‘Bowman’. also the voice actor for mason (Sam Worthington) is australian so when he is yelling alot of the time his real accent comes out and it sounds a little goofy when paying attention to it😂 after seeing you just put up part 4 now i can say that the Russian roulette scene in that episode was heavily inspired by a scene in ‘The Deer Hunter (1978)’ which is a great watch if you’ve never seen it.

@@DegenerateQueen it is kinda funny that for a game so intent on telling you exactly where to go at all times, it occasionally gives you no idea what to do next

I think what’s going to make or break this game for a lot of people is understanding the role of each character & their synergy with others. As someone who just jumped into the game, I had no idea what I was doing (like killing my teammates with Jeff even though I didn’t press the button 🙄)
