EP 8: THE PUROSANGUE IS THE LAST CAR AND THE FIRST FERRARI
What is a car? I really think the answer to that question is beginning to change. The last few years have seen things like ICE sedans, wagons and coupes fall by the wayside. The mighty SUV and the electric car are attempting to usurp the throne and may be ushering in the next version of CAR.
In this episode take a look and this industry shift and the car that stands at the epicenter.

EP 7: WHY JAMES BOND DOESN’T DRIVE MODERN ASTONS | DB11
มุมมอง 1.6Kปีที่แล้ว
I recently noticed I haven't seen bond in a DB11. I soon realized its more than the film franchise that has forgotten about the 11. TH-cam videos, social media posts... Aston's are rarely covered outside of launch and major media events. Seems like competitors are taking all the spotlight. What's happening to Aston? And why? A Farewell to the Internal Combustion Engine
มุมมอง 1.2Kปีที่แล้ว
I'm not an electric car hater but I am forever a petrolhead. And I think we can all agree that the ICE brings something to the driving experience that electric can never do. With government mandates sealing the fate of the petrol engine, I've made a collection of cars and trucks that are meaningful to me. These aren't the best cars or even the most loved, but they are all special in their own w...

มุมมอง 1.4K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Despite making one of best-looking cars in the last 20 years, Infiniti is on a downward trajectory that leaves us with little hope for the future. Perhaps looking to the past is all they have. EP 2: THE PERFECT CAR... 20 YEARS TOO EARLY | PONTIAC AZTEK
มุมมอง 4.1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The Aztek has a bad rap and for the most part it's deserved. But looking back at the design ethos there was a lot of forward thinking at Pontiac. Whether its styling, practicality or tech the Aztek was ahead of its time in many respects but unfortunately it was put together like Mr.Potato.
EP 1: I KNOW WHAT BMW IS DOING | BMW XM
มุมมอง 7K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The BMW XM just released and now's a good time to talk strategy. What are BMW doing with their design language? Why does it seem less cohesive than most brands? Is it revolutionary or repulsive? There are a lot of questions that need answers and I think the key is to look to the past. Join me in Episode 1 of The Last Petrolhead series as we dive deep to find some answers...because you and I...a...
That Utopia is the best Pagini yet! If I ever hit the lottery, that would be the first car I attempted to purchase, even in the aftermarket if they were all sold out. Absolutely incredible automobile, but aren't all Pagani's!
I have rarely listened to a review that was both so positive, critical, and at the same time so closely mirrored my own thoughts. I agree 100% on my initial reaction to the Hyuara, after the Zonda, and now seeing the Utopia. I think it will grow on me a great deal, but the screens do spoil it and Bugatti, regarding tech in their interiors, is correct.
Great video... Greetings from México.
The proportions !!!!!!!!
What a beautifully narrated piece! Thank you for so eloquently describing such an amazing person and his art, which can only be appreciated with timeless originality. This car, as all his designs, reveal an incredible imagination and harmony with nature! I can only afford the models but I have everyone of them and they are the highlight of my collection because of their timeless beauty! Thank you, again, for such a wonderful video!
A hypercar for the future, from a different world 🛸❤
Keşke bundan biri mnde olsa saleh
But I prefer to huayra codalunga in the pagani clan..
Great video! I just made a video saying it was ahead of its time. Everyone is gaga over the Tesla Cybertruck. Pontiac Aztek had a tent 20 years earlier!
My friend made a joke about this today and as somebody who owns a firebird I think I really want one now. I think an Aztec looks super cool with a 6-in lift and 35-in tires on it. I can't find one on TH-cam so I think I need to do it.
There's an Aztek with firebird theme. It's 🔥 🔥 🔥
It's a camping on the go the seats can be used as a outdoor chair it has also tent ect
😂😂😂😂 all that stuff it came with, and now in modern cars you have to pay a arm and a leg for things you would think should be standard 🤔
Interesting. I couldn't explain how I feel about the Utopia, but you somehow managed to put it into words. I, however, don't agree with the section about the Interior. Those screens in the Huayra make it look like a car from a 1960s Sci-Fi film, and it still looks nice, especially when you compare it to the interior of a Koenigsegg or a Lamborghini from that time. The analog dials is the highlight of the Huayra interior, and gives that extra style, or sportiness, depending on the chosen colour. Green or light blue dials make it more stylish, and red dials make it more sporty. There was a Huayra BC for sale with purple and black carbon exterior, black and white interior, and the dials were purple to top it all off.
For the glory of the internal combustion Engine
P R O M O S M ☝️
People argue that we still have some years of modern petrol cars produced to date like the c63 but lets be real its strangled with the 2.0 taking its true soul away.. the end for at least our kind of petrolheads is close but weve got one last bang and thats the GMA T.50. Unless Gordon can produce another stunning car after the T.33 i really dont kmow what else we have left. Mclaren will still be killing it, ferrari are in a weird place and lamborghini is trying its damn best to keep its v12. AM are doing there best to keep us and so forth but i truly believe the last hummingbird is the T.50 and should be celebrated the most of them all.
Time would tell us the answer...but it doesn't look promising...not even a bit. If you where born in the 80s, let me tell you that you were a lucky b*astard to enjoy the pinnacle of the combustion engines as a car enthusiast, as a gen z, i envy you so much, its not even fair...well, since when life have been fair to begin with.
I mean, looking at what we have now, and looking at the Astek, back then, you are right! I mean if it was released now in 2024, with a few minor body changes it could easily pass for something like what we see now in suvs, crossovers etc.. it actually wild to watch this video, and see todays 2024 designs so similar..
Now, if only they could build their own motors

I didn't like it at first either but now feel its the most beautiful car ive ever seen. The things i didnt like about it ie the disjointed look i now sense the complete opposite from it. Its a joy to look at with so many points of interest the individually are gorgeous but as a whole its a true delight to experience it reminds me how great it is to be alive and how fortunate i am to be in a world of such awesome greatness.
I hear you for sure and really need to do a follow up. My feelings have changed as well. Classic Horacio 😂
Picasso of car design.
That man that was building tractors 🚜 is still dominating Ferrari. Mr. LAMBORGHINI has not only done a family SUV he made it better.
Watch the full video on the my channel!
A Ferrari was the first car I ever loved. But they’ve made so many horrible “Real Ferraris” they need to do something different. Remember when the top selling lambos and Porsche of all time were “sacrilege”?
Good video. Well thought out and presented. Nice format. Well done 👍🏻
I am so vlad you're back man! I was starting to think that you dropped this project and was sad cause its nearly impossible to find something similar on youtube. Keep the great work up please and thank you
Hey thanks so much. I’m back in and trying to stay consistent this time. So happy you enjoy!
Your videos are the perfect match of knowledge and good taste. You manage to deliver technical facts in a very enjoyable way. Cheers..!!
Aw man thanks so much! Really happy you enjoy. Appreciate you watching!
Not a Ferrari fan but the things they have been up to lately is blasphemy 💯
What are you’re thoughts….What is the ultimate Car version 1? What car ticks off the most boxes across segments?
@@Zod-xl4ux Oh this is a good one. Because I have a lot of admiration for Bugatti but that’s definitely a practice I’m not a fan of. Especially at a major premium. When bmw was making 1 interior across the range I was annoyed but for Bugatti it’s unacceptable if they’re going to charge a premium like it’s a new car. I’m gonna add that to the topic list! Great suggestion
Yaaaaaassssss! I've been waiting for this for so long!! Thank you THE LAST PETROLHEAD!!!!! Keep making these videos Pleeeeeeeeeeaaaasssssee!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

Muy bueno tu video, gracias por hacernos notar detalles que nos pasan desapercibidos. Sentí tu emoción al expresar tu parecer, gracias. Saludos cordiales.
The car belongs to a museum. I wouldn't buy to take it on the road or track.
The Interiors are Gaudy and Too Shiny,it's Distracting.
Everyone builds in house,Pagani is a Overpriced Outsourced Car,Pagani learn how to do the hard part the Engine.
Why would anyone pay that much for a Unreliable Mercedes.
It's just a Mercedes, will never be able to Qualify or last at Le Mans.
I agree. Pagani has made cars that I appreciate but don't love (if that make sense). With the Utopia, Pagani has really excelled and shown what can be done by dreamers and engineers. I love this car.
The Aztek is a monstrosity. Grey plastic up to your eyeballs!
60's design seems to be unbeatable. The last Ferrari(s), Porsche, Lamborghini etc felt down to edge and "overloaded" styles. This look is simple, but paradoxically more rich. This tremendous car says only one thing : proportions are king. Pagani has taken a major step. Far ahead a Zonda or a Huayra. Utopia could be renamed Fantasies.
Amazing Automovili!! ❤🔥
Not on the spykers level lost me.
I have notice you haven't posted for a while. Every word of encouragement. You got this! I never skip forward your videos. and i am not even in to cars. Your content is gold bro. Don't stop )
Theres something about the Paganis. i just grown and keep growing into their newer versions. they just seem to get more beautiful in my eyes. I had thought i seen their pinnacle with the Huayra R but then when i saw the Utopia i felt inside that it was much beyond. This for me is truly the most beautiful car so far, It just seems so simple yet it dares in a beautiful way.
Every Rolls-Royce interior is literally perfect. You just have to experience it to understand.
NOBODY makes a more infinitive vehicle than Christian. And NOBODY makes a more beautiful vehicle than Horacio.
This car seems very polarizing for many people. Some view it as a step back in design and not well made, while others view it as another great Pagani design with aesthetics that for others might be an acquired taste. I absolutely understand feeling like the design is all over the place, but one thing I do disagree with people on is the interior. I actually like the aesthetic. I think always looks better if it can incorporate a middle stick in its interior, regardless of purpose, and this car for me is an example of it.
I really appreciated this analysis. I lot of people have been fawning over the Utopia simply because it's a Pagani, and yes I can understand why. But this car is, I believe, not yet at it's final form. The individual design elements in their own right are beautiful, put together they lack a degree of cohesion and at times appear to add unnecessary confusion to the overall impression. It could also be argued that stylistically it's a bit too much of a mishmash of Zonda/Huayra.... Like a directors cut of parts and design ideas that evolved between the two cars put together to make a third. Perhaps that's being a little overly harsh. I will look forward to see how this design evolves as it surely will during its lifetime. For me, it's not quite the finished article just yet...
In absolutely no sense of design can this be considered an evolution of the previous design.
