i did. i was leveling lyric on my weapon at this point. so it did a little less damage and doesn't look aspected.

i prefer fencing for the blackguard ticks. but macing has higher consistent damage.

i actually dropped tracking for item id. and kept forensics. i like forensics because it makes me more money.

this build still holds true. i did swap tracking for Item ID. but its still what i run!

if you start on lvl 1-3 of dungeons and have some magery and a summon. you can start off that way. i see naked people running around kraul 3 with no aspect scavenging just fine. pick a busy dungeon and go during peak hours.

land has always been a hot commodity in all UO games. you can use an Inn room when you start. thats what i did for the first 6 months i was playing.

Guess the server got a lot more traffic... I've played a bit during covid lockdown, which was 2 years after launch and managed to place an 8x8 not too far from one of the towns. I think they might need some new rules for multiple home ownership and to discourage land hoarding by virtually inactive accounts (something like make the first 3 refreshes as is and after that you can only refresh if you've played x hours on that account, with the whole process resetting after enough playtime).

@deltav864 even that would hurt me. i run a guild so i have my house, the vendor house, and guild house. and i really only log onto my main account.

@@BehrlyThere The timer could be applied to all accounts combined. I'm just thinking of a solution for people who just log in once every blue moon to refresh in the off-chance they might or might not return to the game. When I quit I gave that 8x8 to the first [Young] dude that didn't look like someone's alt.

@@isaachill1107 archery is using any bow. But for backstabbing I recommend heavy xbow.

@@BehrlyThere sorry I'm old and forgot to put using. Talking about using now or xbow. Hehe. So basically new player backstabber comes down to opening with highest minimum damage weapons for the best chance at big numbers then if you're feeling frisky swap to a fast swing speed to finish?

@@PauloZionlight ranged backstabber is a little weaker. But the concept is the same. Hide/stealth/target what you want to kill/attack last target/rehide.

Hi, maybe I can share some experience as a fellow New player. im currently 30 days old. I mostly play solo because of my time zone. but occasionally join my guild run. if you want to participate doing damage best is to use archery, drop stealing ( and thief codex) and put tactics in. The BS damage bonus still apply after you stealth but not the damage from Thief codex or ransack . im currently using both mace and archery codex. ( to level archery while still using mace ) pwnstarr featured an archer backstab build without Stealing. seems pretty strong.

@@cornetinhasdoAC I have heard that madness stabbing is a thing. Haven't done it. I just throw madness on the weapon. Safer and I still get the xp.

@@rob4783 ok i know where i messed up. im normally a backstabber lol and on my player stats page i had presume stealth backstab checkmarked. soooooooo in reality im at 33% wep special chance. i thought i was goin crazy so i went back and looked into a lot more. sorry for the misinformation.

@@BehrlyThere all Good. i though i was trippin my self. still a super solid and fun build.... But also if you want a true like 60% pls water aspect does it. and damage is pretty good

@@SandiBudiwarman I would ask have you leveled your thieves codex? Have you unlocked shadow aspect? Without those things. You're not going to do very well.

@@BehrlyThere Thanks for the reply. my Thief Codex is at 5pts. My shadow Aspect at lvl 2. Mace codex at level 1 i move to Darkmire and able to hit humanoid mobs Darmire Elder, Hunter at level 2 for 1200-1500. is this about right? also my stealth steps are at 15 i see yours is above 21. is this from stealth skills?

@@SandiBudiwarman if you are running the build. With 0 tactics. And only a few points in the thieves codex. It's gonna be a long road. I suggest leveling the thieves codex first. The finish making the build. Then go stab some stuff.

@@josephpearson1079 cleave doesn't really do much. Swords is the weakest at this point. Bleeds don't work on backstabs.

Wonder if the Outlands team would ever consider a deluxe edition or starter set of some sort and sell a shelf/stockpile/recycler for say a game box price of $60.

@@gleemanvincent8820 I haven't done the math. But I'm 24 links in and I run fencing. Any wilderness spawn will require a mount token to be doable realistically. A lot of good wildlands spawns. Just pop around the map and see what you enjoy.

@@skottlee8959 I backstab a lot of bosses. Just depends on group composition

@@BehrlyThere for sure. I'm typically in a large group. I can't imagine pushing through the sea of pets and dexxers to get to get within one tile, while also staying alive. Any tips or advice?

@@skottlee8959 when we have a large group. I will typically tell dexxers to stay to a certain side of the boss.

if you press shift and ctrl at the same time a gump will come up that lets you set that. and i use a skinning knife to open corpses!

@@KwBeee not sure where you get that number. If you're talking about OSI maybe. But on Outlands that's not the case. You can't RMT.

Also, if you run Harvest aspect, you get double the leather harvest at times.

@@celebratelife865 absolutely. I tried to make this video based on something a new player could do. Shadow wasn't expensive at the time. Now it's almost as expensive as harvest. And you might as well go harvest.

@@Clandestinemonkey it's the same build from my behr's backstabber video. This is more of a backstabbing in inferno guide.

@@LogJamminDF different maces do different damage. I suggest a staff. Vanq weapons always do more damage. And with item ID it only makes them better. But if you're not using magic weapons item id does nothing.

@@xerxesuo I swapped tracking at 120 for camping. I find tracking at 80 has been good enough for me.

@@BehrlyThere I always like to track PK's in dungeon before they have a shot of tracking me. I guess its more of a personal preference as both skills seem to have the same type of pvm benefice

this template works for an archer too. but archery damage is some of the lower end damage when it comes to backstabbing.
