Also, if you run Harvest aspect, you get double the leather harvest at times.

@@celebratelife865 absolutely. I tried to make this video based on something a new player could do. Shadow wasn't expensive at the time. Now it's almost as expensive as harvest. And you might as well go harvest.

@@LogJamminDF different maces do different damage. I suggest a staff. Vanq weapons always do more damage. And with item ID it only makes them better. But if you're not using magic weapons item id does nothing.

@@xerxesuo I swapped tracking at 120 for camping. I find tracking at 80 has been good enough for me.

@@BehrlyThere I always like to track PK's in dungeon before they have a shot of tracking me. I guess its more of a personal preference as both skills seem to have the same type of pvm benefice

this template works for an archer too. but archery damage is some of the lower end damage when it comes to backstabbing.

@@BehrlyThere Its maybe 40-50 extra dmg, seriously go test it before you recommend. it wasnt working at all on wildlands launch and idk if its been fixed. Points better spent on overlooked or extortion (if archery). Otherwise if melee you go ruffian, shadow hands, and without a trace.

@@sh3940 I do take ruffian shadow hands. On my melee build I don't take ransack. I put the points where you have recommended. I'll test it out. And if it isn't worth it on the archery build hopefully I can make a recommendation to fix it. Thanks for pointing this out!

Yea agree man, slayers limit too much … since I have some gold melee damage links for my main echo, think the melee damage links applies to the backstab damage ? At least logically it should, but do you know.?

some of my older backstabber videos are great for newer players and some of them are more advanced.

i havent played with the arcane backstabbing yet. feels. *weird* to me.

What would an arcane backstabber build look like?

@@mugiwarapvp drop archery and something else for arcane and wrestling.

​@@mugiwarapvp 120 camping stealth, 100 hiding tactics stealing, 80 arcane wrestling, 20 alchemy. Right now I use this. You probably can get away with item id in this. You can also add parry to this build if you feel like. It's a really flexible setup. I carry both arcane staff and martial manual on me. Arcane staff is for high armor mobs and martial manual is for low armor ones. I kept stealing bcz overlooked in thief codex is simply irreplaceable in time dungeon. Without a trace helps too, it's good utility. Other than that, use fracture for arcane codex and wrestling is your preferance.

Having 30 links sure helps that build as well xD

ya i noticed it clipped off the end of my video and went to the end screen. so i fixed and re-uploaded it. thats what happens when you try to do new things. the videos will get better and i will learn <3

@@brandon0981 I would have. Unfortunately my character slots are tied up. And Its impossible to prove the video on test. Nothing is dead. So I went with what I typically used when scavenging.

The prison rooms are great for a new backstabber. I did that area for a long time.

The build is very versatile and can be modified. Just wanted to put the idea out there for people to see.

Harvest would def help with the leather collection. It's only downside is it's quite expensive for a brand new player. But for an established player harvest would work. I would suggest saving an echo from a lockpicker or gatherer.

Most of my characters have the name Behr in it.

Void is def a great aspect to have if you're running a scavenger. Shadow is just left over from a backstab echo. And can be helpful in a pinch to heal safely.

What a fucking troll comment dude. First of all, new players don't need to start with 720 skill points or 120 forensics to be successful with this build, nor do they need any sort of aspect at all. This build is good, is safe and much more fun than mining and lumber like you suggest. Like he says in the video, you can loot other players, learn how the dungeons / mobs work, you learn a lot about the server and make money at the same time. When I first started off, I also ran a scavenger, and I used it to level my main which was a tamer, so I farmed not only the 20 orbs, 20 animal lore/taming scrolls which are expensive, and also command cores, which at the time were 30k each. It's a great build for new players!

If you watched the video. I explain that the skills can be adjusted to lower FE and Stealth to 100 and put the points into camping. And you dont need 720 you can do this with 700 total skill points. I also went in depth and said you dont need an aspect to do this. The only requirements to start this is a full spellbook, a blessed runetome with some dungeons marked, and some starter regs and potions. If you start the build with 3 magery skills on shelter you get a spell stone that will get you to 80 magery for free so even that cost is covered. But I guess you can comment without watching further than 2 mins into the video.

@@BehrlyThere yah, but the premise of the video is clearly "100K PER HOUR NEW PLAYER BUILD" which is just not true. Why dont you just show an actual new player account starting this build, and maybe cut back on the bullspit and just show GM skills instead of 120's, and then get an accurate gold per hour a week into the build? In this video you're calculating ver-hide.... new players are not even going to be GM Forensics in 2 weeks of play. It's so dishonest.... i dunno, maybe you lost any sense of what being a new player is, but dont hate on me for offering fair criticism. just says who you really are behind the scenes.

I went to test center with a 120 item ID build and it wasn't hitting on average much harder than the build im running right now. I think they might make some more tweaks to the skill. If they do I might consider it. But honestly 10k is the damage cap. If I'm hitting for just about that now. I'll just run the same build with tracking and remain safe.
