a few days late here, but i thought i comment. i wouldnt have had a problem with a black samurai. but in the first ac game thats finaly set in Japan, i would have liked to play a japanese character. you know.. what you exepct if you hear "set in edo japan" and not play the 1 guy in all of japan at that time, that was black. because that feels like its forced not because he may had a cool story, but because he was forced in your face. you could even have him come in a dlc as unlockable mc to replay the story with. they could have raked in 2 times the money, and everyone would have been happy with it. but man they fkd up good this time.

Maybe the Game Science hates Xbox, too. 🙂 Since the developer doesn't want to make it happen on series S, X, whatever that is, you might wanna give up & move on. There's no Wukong for xbox after all. Silent hill 2 remake was running mid on my setup with rtx 2070 super on 1080/30 to 40fps... And then I used the mod on nexus to improve graphics/perf issues, a simple Mb file made by one man, and get a perfect 60fps ultra with better RT reflexions and no more shimering/noise... Then it prove me that A LOT of the nowadays studios don't optimise their game anymore...at all...and it's getting worse with UE5 games sadly...it's time for the industry to face itself and reintroduce talent and knowledge above assistance and speed/facility in the developpment area...the CEO of nvidia said this year that soon we'll don't have to be a programer to make games, with AI assistance... Can someone explain what is the difference between this situation and the Stellar Blade one. Because originally that game was coming to both Xbox One and PS4 under the name Project Eve. I own a Xbox Series X, but I recently had to buy a used PS5 just to play Stellar Blade.

Bro, if Stalker 2 can run that well on the Series S, anything can run on the Series S very well. Stalker 2 is a very demanding game with the most amount of mechanics in a game so far, same as Baldur Gates 3. Both games are almost 200gb mostly in coding and programming language more than graphics.

There are tons of games that could run in native 4K on SX, if it were not for LAZY devs. Black Myth could, no problem. And those comparing PC to consoles are committing a fallacy. PC's will always require more power to do what consoles can do on much less. Because PC's have tons of crap running in the background and Windows is demanding on hardware, resource hungry. Consoles have none of this. Just look at what a PC needs to run the new Indiana Jones in 1440p at 60FPS. The requirements are hefty. Yet SX runs it even higher at a native 1800p at a SMOOOTH 60FPS.

Finally, a TH-camr with a brain! I've been calling this out as a pure fabrication, especially when there are plenty of titles in similar or even more demanding conditions. It wouldn't be surprising if they are just trying to double-dip. This is specifically about the Black Myth: Wukong, where they're claiming the Series S is an issue. It's a stretch when other games run just fine on similar hardware. It almost feels like Sony could be money-hatting through the Hero Project, pushing narratives to favor their platform while undermining the competition.
