All I’m going to say is perception is reality. The perception is PlayStation is superior to Xbox. The perception is PlayStation has more/better games. That’s all that matters and the sells reflect that. So it doesn’t matter what Microsoft does. Until they’re able to change their perception amongst the gaming community. All this talk about the CPU and what games are actually 1st party or 3rd party won’t mean shit and Xbox will continue to be a dying platform

As i stated before MS had a better 1st pty this year and they are available to play day 1. They have better backwards compatibility systems and cloud services. Both have a lot of games period. I own all and beat all. I can play 3rd pty on my high end PC way better. Only thing Sony has for me are timed games coming to pc and Xbox or 1st pty games that are coming to pc now. Xbox is beyond consoles and has been. You are looking at it through a narrow minded pov. Consoles are not the future. Xbox controller is a lot more comfortable. Playstation gives me hand pain after a few hours. There's no point arguing with these idiots. They always start either insulting you or forcing agendas down your throat. It's a lost cause, they don't have enough IQ to accept logic.
They both use the same CPU though lol. Ones simply overclocked at a higher frequency. PC is the ultimate king but I would much rather play on a PlayStation versus Xbox and I have them both.
The GPU is what determines the games overall performance, not the CPU. If CPU mattered as much, people would be constantly upgrading it. The PS5 Pro GPU side of the APU is much better and refined as of now.
the thing that might make the cpu in the xbox better can be the memory. xbox series x has 6GB at lower bandwidth but it probably has much tighter timings as the other memory pool with the higher memory bandwidth. I would say that 1 memory pool would be better, as it would be easier to code for, but the latency on gddr6 is pretty high and with a zen2 apu with only 8MB of level 3 cache that is pretty bad. It would perform much worse then the zen2 apus on pc because of the high latency memory subsystem, but maybe the xbox series x has 2 memory pools because of this issue.
I've been mostly in the PS corner. But before that and still I do PC. I think that's the best combination. I feel xbox and pc are more closely related but at least xbox does not have the winbloat that that microsoft forces onto windows pc's by default. e.g. antimalware service eating up cpu cycles and memory and you cannot easily just turn it off, among other needless services making all the extra on paper compute power of pc less attractive than xbox. But I can't see doing both xbox live + psn and if I could only do one it would probably be pc

But i gotta give props to sony and guerilla games for bring us the horizon games. Its a movie AND a game. One of my favorite game of all time is hz forbidden west.

Back in the days, the Xbox fandom was cringe. Nowadays, the Sony Ponys are utterly insufferable. I've primarily been a console gamer since the original NES and prefer to do most of my gaming there but I've always been generally multi platform and have built $500 - 700 PCs since the early 2000s after getting into PC gaming thanks to Fallout 2, Diablo 1, and Age of Empires in the mid-late 90s. I used to root for Sony during its PS3 struggle because the unique architecture lended itself to some of the best Exclusive gaming experiences I ever had with Killzone 2, 3, Warhawk, Twisted Metal 2012, and Uncharted 2 & 3, all visually stunning titles with great multiplayer for their time. When PS4 dropped and consoles shifted towards x86, I saw the writing in the sand with how lame things were going to be. PS4 felt more like a streamlined, boring gaming experience. The CPU was complete ass and most of the games we got were 1080p 30 fps or 900p 50 - 60 fps. The PS4 PRO was a lot more exciting in the fact that it did have some secret sauce with hardware dedicated to checker boarding so if a game rendered at awkward resolutions like 1440p - 1800p, the checker board scaler would clean it up output nearly over a 4k display. This was a lot more effective than the total crap we see this generation. Speaking of this generation. This is the lowest point for Sony. The most boring exclusives to date, axing all of their beloved IPs, the woke pandering, the lack of customization and options for both visuals and system level display settings (still no support for AMD freesync, when its literally running on AMD architecture). Now would have been the perfect time for Sony to unleash a 32 player Killzone 2 multiplayer remake experience, or a warhawk.

Demons Souls remake hooked me in and I thought, "Hey if this is the start, it's gonna be a good generation!". Bruh, I've spent more time with my Xbox Series S in dev mode messing with emulators than I did on my PS5. The fact that this idiotic company could make 3 spider man games but abandon Infamous, SOCOM, MAG, and Syphon Filter.... I can't man. Everyone completely ignores so many of the pros of Xbox. The fact I can go back and play some of the best Xbox 360 games performance/visual improvements, mind you, some of these Xbox 360 versions were the best ways to play these games and were far more polished than the then PC ports.
