    I was a USA patriot until I saw this and understood the crimes we committed against the Aboriginal American via usurping their land and lives. I wonder what the immigration policy of the Indians is?! or, what it would've been in the 1500s if they knew then what they now know?!

    • @thelegacygeneration5502
      @thelegacygeneration5502 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Where to begin...? I doubt you "were a patriot" as you claim, or that you even know what that means in any kind of historical context. My ancestors were among those who fought for Independence in the Revolutionary War. They were also pioneers and trailblazers who carved a nation out of the Great American West, burying their children along the way. And when they came west, they met my other ancestors, the Shoshoni, who have lived on this land of the Rocky Mountains for perhaps a thousand years. Sometimes my ancestors fought each other shedding each other's blood. Other times they fell in love and created offspring, families---a new American generation of both Anglo and Shoshoni MIXED along with many other racial and ethnic lineages salted in. That's America today. The point is, THERE IS NO LAND upon God's Good Earth where the original inhabitants--I'm talking FROM THE BEGINNING--currently live genetically untouched and culturally "pure." The history of the world is a history of conquest, of intermarriage, of the exchange of ideas, cultures, religions, economies. It's messy and often "unjust" by today's standards. Often downright brutal in how it came about. That's tragic, but it is also REALITY. Remember, the great historian tells us: "History must be judged STRENUOUSLY, and within historical context." The Comanche of the American plains were a break-off group from my ancestors, the Shoshoni. They left the Rocky Mountain about 300 years ago, mastered the skilled use of Spanish horses, and proceeded to invade the lands of the Cado affiliated tribes and the Lipan Apache tribe of Texas and Oklahoma, absolutely brutalizing and enslaving them, wiping out many villages, and taking over their lands. When the whites came to what would become Texas, they did battle with some of the most bloodthirsty, slave-raiders on the American continent--the Comanche. Thousands died, on both sides. But Texas was never Comanche lands to begin with. They were "intruders" by your standards. As well, those indigenous peoples the Comanche conquered also, if you go back far enough, took the lands of (what would become Texas) from an earlier people or peoples, tribes we know little about--because the indigenous intruders totally wiped them out! The same story can be told of the Dakota, the Cheyenne, the Aztecs, the Mayans, it just doesn't end, my friend, I'm sorry. In essence, what the poor and struggling Americans--most formerly indentured servants--slaves, in essence--were doing was what every struggling person has done from the beginning of time. Trying everything in their power TO SURVIVE. Some did. Many, perhaps most, did not. And along the way many were kind and supportive to their neighbors who happened to be there first. And some were not. Some were downright murderous. That's just the reality of our world--EVERYWHERE. The American Indian tribes we know were here before us, true (please don't use "Native American," that is hopelessly imprecise because it is, in effect, meaningless--the Shoshoni, Navajo, and Zuni friends I know personally don't even use it! They prefer their own honored tribal name.) but they were not the first. And they likely wiped out whomever they "stole" the land from. Someone was always here "first." The reality is that because the American Indian even EXISTS in America today at all, is a testimony that many Americans felt, and continue to feel, that an injustice was done to them and so we should help them to prosper in the American nation today. To help them achieve the American Dream. I've lived all over the world. In every country if you go back far enough they have their "indigenous peoples." And in nearly every country today do you know where those original indigenous peoples are? They are extinct. Wiped out completely by those who ended up controlling whatever nation you are talking about. In the history of humanity, THAT is the rule. What is unique, and exceedingly rare, are nations (like the United States) who have not wiped out their indigenous enemies, but have tried to accommodate them, to provide for them. This is not a simple issue. But more so, we live in another world entirely from our pioneer and Indian ancestors. Live in the now, my friend. If you want to help your neighbor, no one is stopping you. But making ignorant comments about something you know little about, does no one any good. Still, thank you, friend, for asking the question that gave me the opportunity to get a whole lot off my chest! God bless America!!! :)

      I believe this is what's killing our once "based" and well-grounded nation. It's "decline by design" as the Left has hijacked our national educational institutions and has been successful in not only dumbing America's kids down, but worse, robbing them of their historical and faith-based heritage. And yes, Sacagawea's actual name has been mispronounced for generations, though in fairness to historians, the Shoshoni Language, like nearly all American Indian Languages, were verbal only, not written. Today many American Indian languages, in an attempt to preserve them, have been documented and written down using a variant of the English alphabet, trying to approximate the sounds in each language that are not found in English using unique linguistic symbols. In Navajo, for example, there are several letters representing sounds we don't have in English. This makes it hard to accurately represent the actual sound when speaking that sound for the first time. But linguists do the best they can. So, for many years Sacagawea's name was not properly represented using the English alphabet, written several different ways, undoubtedly not recreating accurately how her name (Sacagawea: meaning "Bird Woman") was actually pronounced back in the day. As my Agency mentor and trainer always told me: "Rick, it's an imperfect world!" --RPR

    Most interesting??? According to the stats you have 0 views and 0 comments. Even though you made this video some two years ago. It makes one wonder if mayhap you have been Black Balled, by the algorithm. If so does this means that we have the 1st Amendment Right to freedom of speech? As long as it what the 5th estate allows you to say? I to have found that many of my comments appear to have been stricken from this dimension of reality that we used to call America. That said, I found the cover picture to this video eye catching. As I knew it to be the official crest of the Fabian Society from around 1884? Interestingly enough today half of Parliament in England are members. Which may help explain the reason that Great Britain appears to have become a pseudo Feudalistic FascoCommunist Globalist dystopian Gulag state? Velkom zu zee New Vorld Ordah! Sadly most of the planets inhabitants seem to be more concerned about the pebble in their sandal than matters of State. As by and through the Propaganda of the 4th estate the masses have become addicted to ‘Bread and Circus’. At least here in the United States? Though we have seen push backs in a number of Countries in Europe? They are to little effect do to the loss of private firearms ownership? And with such a caveat under their charge, they virtually have bark without the fear of the bite? So the Government’s have no fear? And a Government who lack the fear of its people? Will inevitably become Tyrannical against them! And We the People here have failed to guard and protect our 2nd Amendment over 22,000 times against unConstitutional Federal laws. Little own our other Amendment’s! Hamilton was right, when he declared that: You don’t get the Government that you want, but that in which you Deserve! And yet the Father warned us: Put not your trust in man, But trust in Yah/ the LORD! In closing I’d like to say that as a writer you gained and maintained my interest and attention to the content. And with time, I believe that you will become a proficient orator as well. I myself have mild dyslexia and it makes my reading aloud most painful to the patients of others. Your readings are good, yet could improve by reading through your content a number of times beforehand. Kinda like a teach back secession when giving instruction to one’s unit. Please give me a heads up as to whether or not you received this comment. Again, great content. I’ll be checking out other of your videos in the near future. Mayhap things will change a bit if Trump can overcome the Machine/ NWO and their lackeys? Respectfully submitted, Shalom friend

    Thank you for this snapshot in time and a taste of American history. It is my hope that others will have the opportunity to share in this, our story? My granddaughter, an orphan to a drunk driver. Is a member of the Kooteney tribe. And through her other Grandfather, before he passed away. I first learned that their people were the last to declare War against the United States Government in 1973. After continually being denied their Right to a tribal homeland. Today they have a small Reserve at the old Mission a few miles West of Bonners Ferry Idaho in Boundary County. And have, out of their own investment proceeds. Enlarged their land holdings to create a village/ Reservation South of Bonner’s. Where my granddaughter lives. Amongst their experiment of self determination they at this time own a Gas station/ truck stop, a restaurant, hotel, casino, a Fish Hatchery with a successful restoration project of the indigenous Sturgeon population amongst other species. Community center. And Scholarship program for this and future generations. As well as a number of other programs to regain their Language, customs and traditions as part of their five band collaboration as a Nation which in part encompasses Tribal bands in Washington, Idaho, Montana and B.C. Canada. Which is part of the reason that this Southern band was compelled to take on the United States Government! As the Government claimed that they were Canadian? And the Canadian Government claimed that they were of United States origin? Even though they were living in what would become the State of Idaho during the travels of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Just thought you might find this tidbit of interest, on a historical note? As it was this said War? They now refer to as the Paper War. Along with the stand-off at Wounded Knee on the Pine Ridge Lakota Rez. That is said to have prompted the then President Nixon Administration to put an official end to treaties with the Indigenous peoples of this Nation/ the United States. Again thanks and Blessings to you and your family. I hope to see more of your videos in the future. As you are also one of the few who still has the ability to see outside the box that they whom serve the prince of this world have tried so diligently to trap us in! I have told many a soul that this generation is getting a taste of what the peoples of this Continent lived through over the past four hundred years, condensed. And that if we don’t learn from their histories and plight? We will surely repeat it! Especially if we as a people/ Nation don’t turn, repent and surrender to the only just power to live by and be governed under! Respectfully submitted from a disabled Veteran and Gold Star dad. Shalom friend

    Thank you for mentioning the Christian family that helped her heal her Physical wounds, to allow her to travel Home to heal her internal wounds. In the South, during the pre-civl war. there were Christians and even Jews who would purchase slaves knowing that they were saving them from toiling in a field and offered them education and a craft.

      SheepdogColumbus, thank you for making the effort to homeschool your five children! That must require many sacrifices and long, dedicated hours. I'm impressed. You might take a look at my Family Freedom Manual Series, Volumes 1-5, in both ebook and print form. I am producing what we call the 100 Honored, Irreplaceable Heroes and Heroines in America's exceptional history. But at any rate, stay tuned for many more of these videos and subscribe for updates. Also, visit our website if you have time. Lots of good stuff for Homeschooling Families. Thank you for your interest! May God bless our troubled nation!

      @@thelegacygeneration5502 I appreciate that. Oddly enough, homeschooling probably less stressful than the alternative and it's opened up more freedoms for us. It can be time consuming, especially with five kids but. luckily my wife and I are both intellects and our children have that same love and drive for learning and exploration. I'm a history nut and that pays off when creating 5 humans who will know why they need to be active in their nation and local affairs. So far, we have one who has graduated. When we sent her back to public school, she was the only one who knew the 50 states, in alphabetical order, and all of their capitals. She spent 9th to 12th in college level classes as well as a program to take college classes and she graduated 4th in her class. She is now on her second degree at only 21 and will enter into the airforce as an officer with 2 degrees in computer science and cyber security. She has also never been with a boy and does not have social network accounts. That is the way we run our household, with God first, Christ second, myself third, mommy, and then the children. God's law and order creates a happy, successful, and blessed family. I will subscribe and utilize some of your media for them so thank you. I will also support you in whatever ways I can. The last 4 children will also go to high school, to get that social experience and we are just as active in that so with some of your material and our current plan, the next four should follow in the first's footprints. Thank you and God bless you and yours.

    Yá’át’ééh from the Navajo Nation🪶, what a remarkable episode, I’ve learned something new! Sally was truly a brave hero and lived a life with so many harrowing adventures! I absolutely love what you said at the end about “nothing destroys individuals and civilizations faster than envy or covetousness.” I’m so thankful I was raised with Christian values and I’ve raised my children, now my grandsons the same way, all Glory be to God! I’m blessed to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel). ✝️🐑🩸

But it sounds like you are making it much better by the faith you offer and show and the truth you embrace. Your children and grandchildren are truly blessed to have you in their lives. The history of the Rhodesian Army is truly exceptional, and amazing. It is hard to find a more tenacious and hard-charging entity. What's more, you survived! :)
