Green Lane, Christchurch Cambridgeshire
Driving two short and easy green lanes (byway open to all traffic) near the Fenland village of Christchurch in Cambridgeshire in a Land Rover Defender (Puma).
The starting point is called Green Lane, just off the B1100 Padgett's Road. This arrives back in the village by the Dun Cow pub. We then drive through the village and back out on Crown Road / Crown Drove.

1970 Worksop: Gwyneth and the Magic Doll
มุมมอง 4344 ปีที่แล้ว
A home movie filmed in Worksop, England, in 1970. Starts off in the bustling outdoor market square in front of the Queen's Building, on the corner of Bridge Street and Potter Street. It looks very different here now, with many changes - including to the end of the Queen's Building, HQ of Bassetlaw District Council. Gwyneth buys some materials, walks home past Hopkinson's store and sits down at ...

Alpine 7288L vintage car radio cassette
มุมมอง 32K8 ปีที่แล้ว
High-end new old stock Alpine 7288L car radio cassette installed and working for the first time in my 1992 Honda Prelude. Video shows the superb electronic cassette eject - just like a little VCR. This was originally sold around 1989-90 and would have been very expensive, $500.
Driving from Hessle to Hull Paragon Station - 1996
มุมมอง 94K8 ปีที่แล้ว
A film of my then-regular drive from Northgate in Hessle to Hull Paragon Station. Recorded on a Hi-8 camera in 1996. The route leaves Hessle via Hull Road and Priory Way, along the A63 Clive Sullivan Way and into the city along Rawling Way and Anlaby Road. The final part of the journey into the station is where the city has changed most since.

oh i SO miss the time when we picked our own car stereos ... and upgraded. Alpine was the best.
He he it has cassette tapes fuck I'm old
the good days no speed cameras
I was 27 years old. It seems so long ago and yet so recent at the same time.
Great to see all the Hull registered cars . KH. Old telephone number on the back of MGB services Bedford van.
Great to watch. My Grandad built the bus shelter in Hessle square . Not been to Hessle in years, but I think it's been knocked down now. Also took my driving test in Hessle.

Had one of these. Indicators didn’t self cancel and you could keep them on for miles!

Great video!
私も持ってます。
Perfect for ladies, I rememember lovely lady had this one model
The car engine sounds like a Citroen AX car I owned mid 90’s
EPIC. Had the pure Tape Deck Version of this Era in my Kadett E GSI. The good old days of Car Hifi
What song started to play when the cassette was inserted?
I can't remember from that short clip - I'll have to grab the tape and check. Pretty sure the tape was from '92
Oh to go back in time And when the world felt more normal with less friggin immigrants Nob head government pricks
Made in Japan???
okey Big JAPAN
Very cool interior, not so sure about the engine though.
This is how I remember British cities. This is what Hull looked like more or less when I was there last ( about 2000). I really don't want to go back either.
Lot less traffic on the roads, plus decent courtesy when cars just pull out in front-now there’d be beeping horns, road rage & giving you the fingers 😮
Citroen visa prachtig Visa 🎉❤ 🎉❤
Yo put that bass and treble shit at the highest for good sound quality 🔊🔊🔊
Take me back there please
This casette audio player is also available in KM36 Toyota liteace

Watching archived 90s footage of casual drives around British cities is my new favourite pastime on TH-cam
**Archived** 90s footage. This IS my *reality* of what the cities of the UK look like. In my memory at least. It makes me feel like Rip Van Winkle. 😀😃😄🙂🙃😉😊
Gotta get one of these to put in my volvo!
This was my first car, and my best car ever😊
weird to think that like 99% of the cars in this video are now crushed up bits of metal.. plenty of interesting cars on the road back then as well, and in general i think they all looked nicer then the shite overly-styled SUVs driving about now. i was born in the 2000s so i remember some 90s cars driving about when i was younger but theyve almost completely vanished now. definitely weird to see them all driving about
molto bella
This is very rare and very good
The same cassette player that is installed in 1992 to 1996 Toyota Liteace Philippines
Ha ha, this is not a car. This is another mess of citroen
Nice car pity you don't see many of them these days!
There's just a handful of the two-cylinder Club models left, and even fewer of this Mark 1 spec, even fewer still in right-hand drive. Just a couple in the UK I believe.
I can't drive as I am not clever enough but it does not matter.
Is it air cooled or liquid cooled engine?
Air cooled, flat twin 652cc cylinder. Very similar to, but slightly bigger than, the 2CV 602cc engine.
One of the most beautiful head units ever made
So many simple (design-wise and mechanically), unpretentious-looking vehicles. This is what everyday cars should look like... not sure what happened to the industry in the past 20 years, but designers certainly lost their way. Trying way too hard to be original (while still copying things that sell over and over again, lol) with terrible results.
Was looking out for my dad.. he was the milkman for hessle centre for over 20 years
Great video , I worked at Dixon Citroen on the service desk down Clarence street during this time , spent a lot of time picking up and delivering customers cars after service or repairs , often wonder if I’m driving any of the cars that pass by
1996 Dashcam
It all looks so terribly old fashioned, and yet I was there for a year in 1998 when it looked just like this! In that era the streetscape was much less "busy". Less signage, advertising etc. Everything was just "quieter" and calmer than in the 21st Century. I hesitate to say better...
cars used to look so good back then
Was 18 back then, looks nice, sadly all changed now and not for the better.
better drivers than today

My Hull my is a life hull
My question is, Did they get the train on time? 😬
