I'm sorry but are you sure that's a 2JZ? To me that sounds like the RB mostly cause it's revving so much higher than the typical built 2JZ would.

no.. its an RB24ET , this engines are Rare it uses an RB20 blockk and RB25 crank shaft , and a RB26 stuff in it , this is one powerful engines and are originaly from nissan cefiro , thats why they are rare i have never seen on in person but i know they exist

love the jz's :) but i have worked at mendham engineering, who have built an rb26 block that godzilla motorsport has used to pump out 1400+hp. still only 2.6L as well.

being there in thiland id say the 2j would be cheaper and much easier to find than a rb26.

@kchristj bag to differ. rb30 is awsome. but till theres a 2000+hp rb30, toyota takes the gold.

@mkIIIsupras I would take a dog box any day over this. The sequential transmission is an automatic, it has planetary gears just like an auto, they only difference being that you have control over the gears and you don't have a valve body, and it's like the name dictates, it's a "sequential" gear box.

@candle2k thats not a auto. Thats a sequential(manuel) gear box that can take prolonged abuse and shifts are so nearly instantaneous.But really i think its for pussys. not like jamming those gears in a true standard. There is also dogbox gears u can get for ur standard transmission that usually make the first 4 or 5 gears act like this and its just slam em in with no clutch. take a lot of abuse since there's no synchros but the gears are straight cut and make to much noise for daily driving.

Im no expert, But I've known many people with 25's and 26's and RB30DET's (Only available in NZ and Austrailia in VL Commodores) And I have an RB20E Skyline (first car) This is MOST LIKELY a 25 or a 26. 20's are very hard to reach this amount of power and costs thousands of dollars more compared to doing up a 25 or 26, So Im guessing 25 or 26.
