Welcome to Pinay Pasyalan Palabas! Get ready to join your Filipina Inday as she strolls and explores the charm of Europe’s old towns. In just three minutes or more, we're diving deep into the cobblestone streets, hidden alleyways, and centuries-old architecture that make these historic neighborhoods so enchanting.
No fancy intros, no scripted dialogues - just pure, unfiltered footage of the stunning sights and sounds of Europe's old towns, all set to some background music.
This channel isn't just about capturing the beauty of Europe's old towns or throwing shade at those overly cheesy travel vlogs - oh no, it's so much more than that. Consider this as Inday’s love letter to all Pinays out there who dream of exploring the world, one misadventure at a time.

A Day in The Hague, Netherlands 🇳🇱
Inday found herself fascinated by the unique blend of old and new architecture that defines The Hague’s Old Town. This area has a way of effortlessly combining centuries-old structures with modern, sleek buildings, creating a layered cityscape that reflects both tradition and progress.
As she wandered, she noticed grand structures like the Binnenhof, with its medieval gothic towers and arches, standing proudly beside contemporary glass-fronted offices and government buildings. The old parliament complex, with its sandstone facades and intricate carvings, felt like a portal to another era. Yet just a few steps away, she’d find modern constructions with minimalist designs and open spaces, representing the city’s forward-thinking attitude.
Walking past the Royal Palace and old churches, she could glimpse the towering silhouettes of modern high-rises in the distance, creating a striking contrast between past and present. The Mauritshuis, with its classic Dutch Renaissance architecture, is another example of this fusion. Inside, its historic paintings by Dutch masters coexist alongside subtle, modern elements-like lighting and layout-that make the museum feel timelessly elegant, yet up-to-date.
The Hague’s city planners have done an exceptional job of harmonizing these different architectural eras, especially in areas like the Spui and around the shopping districts, where modern glass malls with unique shapes sit beside historic buildings. This mix not only adds visual interest but tells a story of a city that respects its heritage while embracing innovation.
In some places, newer buildings are designed with hints of Dutch history, like using traditional gabled roofs or bricks that match older structures, creating a sense of cohesion. In others, the stark differences in styles are intentional and refreshing, showing that the city is both rooted in its past and open to change. Inday felt that The Hague’s blend of old and new was a symbol of its identity-a place that honors history while continually evolving.

The picturesque canals wound through the town like ribbons, reflecting the brilliant blues of the sky and the vibrant hues of the historic buildings that lined their banks. Inday paused to admire the iconic Delftware, the blue and white pottery that adorned the quaint shops. She marveled at the intricate designs, each piece telling a story of craftsmanship and tradition. As she held a delicate ...

Inday’s trip to Longyearbyen during the Arctic summer was unlike any other experience she had imagined. She arrived in the perpetual daylight of the midnight sun, a phenomenon unique to this far northern town in Svalbard. As she stepped into the crisp air, the landscape was illuminated by a soft, golden light that seemed to last forever, casting long shadows over the tundra even in the middle o...

The mix of old-world charm and modern life gives The Hague a beauty that’s both unassuming and memorable.❤👍🏼
Right! The Hague’s understated charm really makes it stand out in its own way. It’s that perfect mix of historical elegance and contemporary vibrance that gives the city such a unique atmosphere. ❤❤❤

Despite its somewhat run-down appearance in certain areas
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. ❤ Chișinău does have areas that might seem a bit run-down, but it adds so much character and story of the city. It’s a blend of Soviet-era architecture, modern developments, and charming green spaces. ❤❤
❤❤❤
There’s an almost sacred stillness. ❤❤❤ Beautiful! Would love to visit Longyearbyen soon. ❤
Longyearbyen truly is a place of serene beauty and otherworldly landscapes. ❤ There’s nothing quite like the Arctic stillness.❤❤

Wow! ❤❤❤
❤❤❤
Wow! Framed by gilded gates, Baroque facades, and stately buildings. Nancy looks beautiful. ❤❤❤
Right! ❤ They stand as a triumphant expression of 18th-century architectural grandeur, encapsulating the Nancy's historical prestige and aesthetic appeal. These elements are most vividly showcased in the iconic Place Stanislas, often regarded as one of Europe’s most magnificent public squares. ❤❤

Pyramiden is a unique intersection of natural beauty and historical intrigue. ❤❤❤
Totally agree! It perfectly encapsulates the essence of this Arctic ghost town. It succinctly highlights the dual appeal of Pyramiden: its breathtaking natural surroundings and its fascinating historical narrative. ❤❤❤

I have been to Mostar last June. There is a beautiful briedge. Is its name Stari Mostar? I saw your video and subscribed!!!
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! ❤️😊 Yes, you're absolutely right-the beautiful bridge in Mostar is called Stari Most (which means "Old Bridge"). It's such an iconic landmark. ❤️ I’ve also subscribed to your channel. Wishing you more incredible adventures ahead-let’s keep exploring! 🌍✈️❤️
Wow, the history of Pyramiden as a once-thriving mining town in the Arctic adds depth to its aesthetic. ❤❤❤
Oh yes! ❤ Pyramiden’s beauty is unique-an enchanting blend of human tenacity, historical poignancy, and the Arctic’s untamed majesty. It is a place that invites reflection on impermanence and the relationship between humanity and the natural world, leaving an indelible impression on those who experience its ghostly charm.❤❤
Beautiful Ottoman-era stone arch bridge. ❤❤❤
Right! ❤ The symmetry and balance of its construction demonstrate the advanced understanding of engineering and aesthetics in the Ottoman Empire. ❤❤

Mostar’s architecture do reflect the city’s Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian influences. ❤👍🏼
Oh yes! Ottoman elements, seen in landmarks like the Old Bridge and Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, bring elegant Islamic design with arches, domes, and courtyards. Later Austro-Hungarian buildings add European neoclassical touches, creating a unique, harmonious fusion that reflects Mostar’s rich cultural history. ❤❤❤

See you in 15 days Tromso. Dreams come true
That's so exciting! 🎉✨ Tromsø is waiting for you! Dreams really do come true-enjoy every moment! ❄️🌌
Wow amazing place enjoy ❤❤
Thank you so much! 😊❤ ✨
Though compact, Tromsø‘s old town charm lies in its simplicity - where the blend of old-world character and the beauty of the Arctic summer makes it peaceful. ❤❤❤
You're right! ❤The simplicity of its historic wooden houses and narrow streets, combined with the stunning backdrop of the Arctic summer, creates a unique atmosphere that feels both peaceful and timeless. ❤❤
Nice, but none of this footage is from Gamlebyen (the old town). That is further east. This is mostly the city centre. Not a big deal. Hope you enjoyed your stay.
Hi, Ivar! ❤ Thanks for pointing that out! You're absolutely right, this footage is from the city center. Unfortunately, I lost some of the other videos from my phone when I tried saving them to my computer, including the ones I took at Oslo Ladegård and Kunsthall in Bjørvika. I was gutted to also lose the footage I had from Vigeland Park-it had been such an interesting park. I really enjoyed my stay overall and hope to see more of Oslo when I return next summer. ❤❤
@@inday.strolls Sorry for your footage loss. You are of course more than welcome next year. My inside tip is to explore the narrow streets with the old wooden houses in Kampen and Vålerenga. (My neighbourhood.) The sculpture park in the forest at Ekeberg is a personal favorite. Go hiking along the Alna river and have a beer, coffee or a sauna at Kruttverket. And of course, you must see the islands. They can easily be reached by ferry from the harbour near Aker brygge. Affordable and accessible. Hovedøya and Gressholmen are both amazing for a picnic and maybe a swim.
Thanks for sharing these great tips, Ivar. ❤ Kampen and Vålerenga sound like beautiful areas to explore, and the Ekeberg sculpture park is definitely on my list now. Hiking by the Alna river with a stop at Kruttverket sounds perfect, and I’ll definitely check out the islands-Hovedøya and Gressholmen seem like amazing spots for a picnic and swim. I appreciate the recommendations! ❤❤❤

Nice place thanks for sharing ❤❤
Inspite of terrible war damage to its large cities , Germany has many small and medium sized fairy tale towns of incredible beauty , unparalleled any where else in Europe !
Right. ❤ Germany has many small and medium-sized towns that feel like fairy tales come to life, even after the devastation of war. ❤❤

Watching the sunset from Akershus Fortress is so good. ❤❤❤
Oh yes! ❤ Perched on a hill overlooking the Oslofjord, the fortress provides sweeping views of the water, the city skyline, and the distant hills. ❤❤
The sweeping staircase in front of the church is beautiful. 👍🏼❤
Right. ❤ What makes these stairs particularly special is their role as a stage for open-air performances and events. In summer, they become an outdoor theater space for the town's celebrated Freilichtspiele (open-air theater festival), which draws both locals and tourists. ❤❤
