I remember 825 571 560 been at Scampton . I think with 27 sqn.
I would have been on shift at Waddo in Jan 84, do you recall the actual date?
XL426 lives at London Southend Airport, she's in a hanger now and does regular fast taxi runs.
Fat a** duckling
I see my comment was removed you are all liars begging bowl still out ? You are all crookes to this iconic plane ,raising money to pay staff off comple joke and shame on you all 😡
I was at Wellesbourne to see her land, we knew it was her last flight. Amazing approach, tried twice it needed to be so accurate.
Watch this, latest fighters can't get off the ground as quick
After vulcans, they scrapped concord, uk is now crap
Uk will never recover 😪
Britain became a 3rd world country when they stopped vulcans 🖖
Still the best in the world
My local Vulcan now at my local airport absolute beast and just turned 60
Thanks for sharing this footage of a great warbird. The sound of those Olympus engines in your videos make me relive a bygone golden age.
A really Beautifull site and sound.
Thanks for posting this. I didn't know it had been filmed. The Touch and Go gave me goosebumps! Super landing though.
Legend has it that twin still hasn't landed.
Oh yes ….those were the days …!
We didn't know it then but this was the last time she would ever fly. At least she was restored to taxable condition and well looked after by people that love her.
As a Vulcan man from my days at Scampton I did get a chance to get in the cockpit of a Victor at the Yorkshire Air Museum , myself and grandson where invited by an ex Vulcan man. It was as tight as the Vulcan with very little room , but I did enjoy it. It is a pity they never got an air worthy Victor, my only other contacts with Victors was when they landed at RAF Laarbruch as I was on station flight to see them in and park them up. As too the gate guard at RAF Marham it is a pity it has been scrapped except the cockpit from what I have been told.
So glad I found your footage. Thank you.
Im a special undercover Bae Falklands 1982
8 vulcans did simulation attack on usa, 6 got through undetected, yes dash 10
The so called sinister tin triangle
100 tonnes takeoff
The best ever aircraft British ever
Silent but deadly
Love the shutdown
A golden time
Good day's
Most people forget vulcans converted into tankers
I never knew that any Vulcans were ever made into tankers, I thought that all the Victors were converted to tankers and that all the Vulcans remained as bombers.
No bird strike
Great footage, history 👏
Russians came to England 1950to 80s as we're desperate to see vulcans 🖖, they were terrified
V force bombers were the best in the world
Forget computers
Every duct etc did something special
Worked at Bae 1980 on
Sat outside Marham many times, 1980 on
Oh wow, sad day
Just one, puts the fear of God in the world against us
Yes for those young people, vulcans were the best and are now the only aircraft in the world
Whats wrong with the United Kingdom
We have nothing left
Now nimrods are going
So sad all are going out
Both vulcans and Victor are brilliant and are very different 👌
What a formidable force
All v force bombers 🥰👍❤❤❤
We have no replacement
Cut backs cut backs 😢😢😢
Gosh i remember nimrod at raf henlow, power climb out and flares dispenser
