Can we get snow tires for motorcycles in toronto ? Like for zx10r or z900 ?
I want to get mine
Would like to be part of your riding journey. Whenever you are ready, reachout to us at tractioncontrol.ca
I am an MSF instructor who is going to be showing this video at the beginning of every day-one class from now on. Excellent video, sir!
"Wow, that truly means a lot coming from an MSF instructor-thank you so much! I'm honored that you find the video valuable enough to share with your students.
hey bro! quick question: I want to buy a bike now, but I don't have any license. I plan to get my license done in the spring. If I get the safety done BEFORE the sale, can I register it under myself as FIT + UNPLATED, so that as soon as I get license and insurance, I can simply plate and ride? Or would I need to do another safety at that point anyways, since it'll be 3-4 months later?
Unfortunately, there's no "FIT + UNPLATED" status available. You'll need to get a safety inspection done when you start your insurance policy. I recommend starting to call around for insurance options now-winter premiums might be more affordable. Plus, you'll have peace of mind knowing your bike is protected against theft and fire.
Is it illegal to ride bike in toronto from 1st december to 15th march ? 🥲 Or we can ride id there is now snow like you are riding in -8 degree ?
@@BotGamer-nc8vf You can ride all year around “legally” :) there is no restriction on it.
@@tractioncontrol.ca1 ok
How to ride in winters in toronto please make a video on that 😅

@ is it legal or illegal to ride bike from 1st december to 15th march in Toronto ?
Thank you soo much 😮😮😮
It my pleasure :)
Was that Islington ttc parking ??
Haha! It very well could be ;)
Thank you!
Happy to help :)
Thank you for the video. Once I pass the M1 test and go to a training session, can I buy a motorcycle to practise on the road while waiting for 60 days to attempt the M2 test?
Yes, you can, but insuring a motorcycle with an M1 license can be challenging. Most insurance companies don’t accept M1 licenses, and those that do usually charge very high premiums.
Thanks, bro. I am 43 years old and looking to get my M licence after years of procrastination. This helps loads.
I completed my M1 written test today and would like clarification on two points. First, with 8 years of motorcycle riding experience in India, am I eligible to go directly to the full M license, or is there a recognition process for international experience? Second, if I am issued an M2 license, would I be permitted to ride a 1000cc motorcycle, such as a supersport bike, or are there any restrictions based on engine size for M2 holders?
@@santoshkumarbachhu2847 Going straight to M with previous experience is decided on case to case basis. You will have to visit drive test centre to find that out. There are no CC restrictions on any license level. You can ride 1000 with M1 as long as the bike is street legal.
Meanwhile in the Philippines after your Student Permit period you can get a Motorcycle License right away
@@jasperdomacena6491 that’s interesting ! I think most Asian countries operate that way.
Thanks bud

Great video. Helps us canadians. Looking to get a bike next summer. 😁
Thank you! yes absolutely I will do my best :)
Can take mi ride with you if live ottawa
🥇Video! 4:26 Licence stickers are no longer needed, I do not have one on my motorcycle.
Correct! The license plate expiration stickers are not required. "Temporary stickers" are still required for license plates registered without a safety certificate.
Nice video. Any advice on the process of buying a used bike in the US and bringing it into Ontario?
Thank you! Unfortunately I do not have any first hand experience with it.
Thanks again for your professional motorcycle advanced riding training courses! To anyone in Ontario, Canada looking for an advanced riding training instructor, book TractionCTRL now!! 💯 He is the only person that I know who rides during the winter!!!

💯🥇
Thank You!! The tape tip?! Just Awesome!!!!!
You are welcome 🙏🏽
Ouch! Are you ok? Any damage to the bike?
Yes yes I am ok! Normal soreness. The bike needs some work but nothing that can’t be fixed :)
Hey Brother, quick question. Is there a way to Jump from M1 to M directly if you have like 10+ years of riding experience from other country? Thanks!
Possibly! to my best knowledge, the drive test decides that on case to case basis. Your best bet is to visit any drive test centre and ask them if it can be done. They will also let you know the document required to skip the M2. If you need any help preparing for the M test, let me know!
Yeah thanks
Happy to help!
Spanner numbers?

@@S.L.C.Factory I agree! braaaapp
How long do you have from m1 before it expires? For example if I pass the m1 written today can i book the course for the season next year?
90 days! The courses goes up to end of Oct and restarts next year in April. Also, you can do your M2 course anytime after receiving M1 upto 90days. Hope this answers your question.
4:15, what part of Ontario is that? 😆
LOL its yonge and sheppard
😂 that dryer was funny
LOL :D
Hey brother, If I get my M1 in September, is it possible to get my M2 in November considering the weather conditions? Thanks a lot!
@@FerdawsAhmadi-hd8cu You can! Once you get your M1, do the safety course right away and pass the test. You still have to wait for 60days to pick up your M2. The courses go up to end of October.
Only people who have been a good boy for mommy today get to like MY comment😤

🙏🙏🙏
You forgot to have a sign for "I need to take a shet."😂
Hahaha :D wonder how would you show that lol
We have another one. Its like 3 times pointing to other rider. That says you ride the bike with the stand down😅
Ah Interesting! curious where are you from?
@@tractioncontrol.ca1 Sri Lanka
In the UK the motocycle 'wave' is just a nod of the helmet towards the other rider, everything else is the same. Pretty much every rider here is friendly and will throw a nod if you ride past no matter what kind of bike you're on. Except scooters. but it goes both ways, they don't acknowledge bikers and bikers don't acknowledge them.
Hello from Toronto, Canada. Wave is mainly used but a nod is also acceptable in North America especially when you are in the middle of turn or something. and oh no no we dont wave to scooters either lol . Also harley's only wave at harleys.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaan I wish i had a motorbike, anything, I would be fking happy with a 150cc
Oh man! Sorry, hope you make your way on to two wheels soon
That's nice, always good to have all of tehn in 1 video, good job mate🤙
Thank you :)
Dies engine capacity influence the type of license? And at what stage can we ride the bike and what are the restrictions
There is no restriction on Engine capacity. You can start riding from M1 level as long as you can find an insurance (which is difficult) most riders start riding once they get M2 level licensing.
Brilliant my friend. 👍🏾
Thank you thank yoU!
Do I need to buy a bike before doing the m2 test or before doing a motorcycle safety course
No, no need of bike. The safety course will provide you with training bikes.
Old board track racers and flat track dirt back in 19 teens and 20's they had no breaks. To slow down, they hit the kill switch. To go fast, they turned it back on.
Haha legendary riders
Idk if you still answer these but i have my g1 and did the road sign test for that, do i have to do it again for the m1 test?
Yes you do still need to write M1 test as part of it is specific to motorcycle skills
@@tractioncontrol.ca1 I meant the sign test like identifying road signs and stuff like that
Expert? Woke expert you mesn
@@hermanherman1982 Help me understand what do you mean by “woke expert”
@hermanherman1982 and you are? I would like to let you know that @tractioncontrol.ca1 is an EXPERT......HE is the only guy I know in Canada that rides a motocycle throughtout the winter!!
You have seen me use my kill switch because I hit the throttle by mistake while parking so I hit the kill switch and saved my bike!! That looks like a new bike! 🥇Video!
Yes yes but I bet that throttle mistake doesnt happen anymore...Correct! Grom is a recent addition to the fleet lol :P
And "when u wanna stop" is wrong. U don't turn off engine on every light because battery isn't optimized for start-stop. U should use it if u gonna be stationary more than 1-3min
Agreed! I didnt mean using kill switch when you waiting at the lights, that would be quick way to deplete the batteries.
Bro are you like 5,4 ??
