I've been using this case for the last 4 years. I get tempted to switch to a newer case but I'll miss the option of the Blu Ray drive and all the space!
Btw I have an ASUS TUF 4080 in there and I removed the middle section of hard drive bays. 280mm radiator on top (but the holes don't line up and the radiator barely fit in the top lid).
ive had my pc since 2019 and i have a 1060 6gb and a i5 8400 and i have an 1100$ budget what should i get (ps a new build no upgrades)
can you : yes should you : no
I always used hyper x and never had any problems
I had to double take to re-hear the model he bought in 2020. Why such a dated gpu in 2020...
I miss when PC cases looked so industrial and rugged i dont like the playful designs we have today personally
Can you check if this is an atx case? Can it fit atx motherboards? I want to build a sleeper
oh yes my gtx 1060 3g of video ram can do that good
cooler master haf and old zalman pc case it's very good case !
I still have the 3gb 1060. Still strong to this day. Even building in unreal engine 5 with it!
Used 4060 ?
750 TI still use did you selling that GTX 1060
Don’t tell them it’s all the same or they’ll toss a DDR3 stick into their DDR3L laptop! 😂
no
Honestly air freshener in a pc isn’t a terrible idea
smoking crack if u pay that much for a 1070. $100 tops
I had problems in the old days with nforce4 chipsets. The mobo had 3 slots, but populating all slots made it unstable. Since then I had no issue mixing rams. Sometimes I change the timings for the bettet ram, and the slower have no problem keeping up with it.
can hab it pls
Good call on the psu u don’t want it to be grasping for air
Rtx 2060
using an L56xx something something Westmere 65W CPU and 3x8GB for 24GB Triple Channel Memory! and couldn't get clover boot to work either. oh yea, The Case and 5.25" drives can be configured for a Desktop (vs Tower) Setup! <3 all
Yes theoretically they work but my newest B450 build got instability problems. I was able to mix RAM for the past 5 years until this one. Maybe AMD is a bit more picky?
I'm not sure if downgrading is the correct terminology, no one calls it a downgrade when you chuck a supercharged v8 into a shitbox, its more like a sleeper
İ upgraded from gt 630 to rx 580 and then upgraded rx 580 to rtx 4060 super
Bro used gpus are crazy cheap in America 😢
they are in most places with a currency similar value to the dollar or pound
6600, 5700 xt, intel b580
I kinda agree. I like the times when corsair makes cases that looked like it will survive military tests. The obsidian 750D was my ideal case back then.
Finnaly a youtuber who doesnt just flash 4090s in our faces
Gtx 1080 best option
Speed -> lowest Stability -> good (never had a problem so far, and I'm doing this for years)
2060 Super to a 1080 Ti...? And 1060 to 1080 Ti? Really? Those are barely upgrades.
a 2060 super to a 1080ti is barely a performance upgrade. the bit of extra vram is nice though. in non gaming deatures and upscaling its a downgrade. a 2070 or above or a 3060 or above would be an upgrade, although tiny. outclassing the 1080ti. a 2080, 3070 ti or 4070 would be an actual major upgrade. i recently went from a manualy oc'ed 2060 12gb (gpu shortage frankenstein gpu of a 2060 super chip in a 3060 system clocked to 2060 speeds)( oc'ed to 3060 clocks) to a 4070 ti super. upgrading makes sense, sidegrading is just expensive for little overall effect.
i am using 8gb single rank and 16gb dual rank ram. Can i use this setup for gaming?
X-58 platform, triple channel memory, SLI capable....what's not to like? ...these are fun units to upgrade.
I built a new pc and give my 1st gpu and case to my son. Idt I'll be getting rid of my rx580 either
I use to have an HP z400 I upgraded the CPU to 6-core x5690 Xeon it works good. You can used a PCI to sata SSD adapter to get 6gb transfer speeds on the SSD. OWC SSD adapter is what I used in the z400, z600, and z800. Its bootable too.
RX 6600 XT or go with a 3080 I currently am rocking at 3060
can anyone clarify this please ? I am currently using 2x8 corsair vengeance non rgb rams, now iam planning to by 2x8 corsair vengeance rgb pro rams, and iam going to add it additionally without removing the non rgb sticks. so i have 32gb ram .will it work ? NOTE : Iam buying same brand and same MHz, jus the difference is it comes with rgb.
RTX 2060 Super 8Gb, RTX 3060 12Gb would be good options, both should work with 1x 8pin PFI-E
Ye... OG🇩🇪
There are all sorts of people out there today who are still on AM4 low end CPU's who will be able to upgrade and keep their systems relative from used CPU's for the next decade. People who are not playing bleeding edge games, rarely need bleeding edge technology in a home PC. Both my wife's and my systems are on AM4. She has a 3200G, And I have a 5700G. And I will hold onto my RX580 GPU because that is all I need to play Minecraft, Factorio and the like. If it dies? So will the onboard graphics suffice just fine for my needs. I have no intention of upgrading until the Strix Halo APU's come out on desktop. That I will consider once it arrives. But I'm betting its going to be on a new AM6 platform as well. My wife can have my 5700G and it will serve her well. Her MB is only 6 months old, and mine is a only a year and half. The only reason we upgraded was the Evil empire decided to make our systems E-waste with windows 11.
Grab an Arc A750 used
I love my ram mixxed ❤
i have question there is DDR4 INTEL and DDR4 AMD why they cannot be mix together if they're same DDR4 RAM ???
first i thought that was an rtx 2060 cause mine looks exactly the same
I upgraded a co workers PC with a $250 1060 6g back when they came out. I kept telling him year after year his card still is holding its value. Crazy how long the prices stay d close to the same long before the 2020 crypto price hikes.
Stick the 1660 super in. Let the buyer worry about upgrading the GPU in the future. The 1660 super will keep the price down a little, therefore opening the PC out to a wider buying audience.
1660 is fine imo
I bought a rtx 3060 ti in 2022 for $450 a few months later it was like $300-350 💀
I have i7 9700k with a 2080 super and z390 for the last 5 years. No complaints. It Can handle anything :)
