My Mazda3 AWD has Michelin xice for cold season and stock Toyo proxes in the summer. I can grip to this snowy icy terrain as if it were asphalt, it's worth pointing out that tires make a world of difference.

Tires are very important. Also yes the Mazda awd is “front biased” which mean it’s fwd until it required awd. Also when losing grip awd is only useful when giving gas, smashing the brakes don’t matter whatever the drivetrain is. Drove on with my gf in her jeep wrangler and it was definitively holding its way in the snow and ice better than the wrangler

Idk where you live but in BC Canada I was driving past stuck SUV’s all winter. Was AWESOME! 😂 The torque vectoring and traction control are insanely good. You’re complaining about something you definitely don’t understand.

Looks like a typical winter in Montreal. Just not enough off street parking. The parked cars get plowed in. Here in Easter Ontario I owned a 2019 Mazda 3 through one winter and the AWD was great. So were the heated everythings incl wipers. Excellent winter car.

I drive a 2014 hatchback mazda 3 it's always been good so I see what your driving must be really good for sure I would have to buy another mazda 3 again I have no reason to drive anything else possibly only reason is its a bit small but then it's a good car on gas it's all u need when the gas prices are so high I wouldn't go for that turbo option to hard on gas just regular one like this and having the awd is so nice for a car like this 2014 is fwd never had the option until 2019 I think and I never have issues in the snow as long as u got good winter tires the things a legend for small car. I picked a hatchback for a bit more convince when I need it but both options look great

the water on your camera with the auto focus is kinda trippy. Its like how a video game will hold your camera in place but you can see your players model still moving if that makes sense.

GOOD LUCK my friend with your BMW ! My neighbor owns a 2021 BMW X5 and always complains how much the maintenance and upkeep is. He also owns a 2021 Supra wich is essentially a BMW, no issues with that car. I owned both AUDIS and BMWs and finally over 6 yrs ago decided to stop wasting my hard earned money on maintenance & service. So I bought a 2019 MAZDA 3 AWD and 2021 CX5 Signature. I swear by MAZDA now, and will never buy another German car!

Mazda USA always needs a good kick. Mazda USA appears to one of the few Mazda's globally that has these issues. It's the only region that also pulls in cars from the Mexican plant, which might be the source of the issues. In Europe, Japan and Australia/NZ we generally get Japanese built Mazda's which have among the best quality out there. Rule of thumb.... buy Japanese built, Japanese cars. And if you're buying German, buy German built German cars. Although it's impossible to get a German X3. They all come from US factories. Ironically any Japanese built Mazda 3 will have far less long term issues than the X3. Maybe your Mexican built Mazda 3 is an example of what goes wrong when Mazda USA wants to lower the price or increase revenue.

Get a garage.

02:36 the reason for the noise is 1. u used ur whipers in dry conditions... they dont need to wipe that fast like in your video like 03:00 2. if u heat ur windshield, they will squeak.. if its cold outside and and your heat is on, they get frozen cuz the ice get to water and the water freeze the whipers.. so they get stiff i hope u understood, english is not my native language :D

Poor video to demo Mazda3's AWD proficiency. Most of video, we see street scenes of mostly parked cars and then FINALLY see a Mazda3 rolling back and forth in the snow from it's sidewalk parking spot. How about taking viewers along for a ride?
