What would be a good upgrade motor for the Habu ss 70mm? I'm looking to get a little more without changing to 8s. CHA-CHING!
This is a 6s motor but it just happens to be awesome on 8s. It’s still the best 6s motor. This setup lets you run both. I prefer the hobbywing ESC’s. I think they are a bit better for EDF’s. But for 6s you could leave the factory speed controller and just do the EDF upgrade

I just got these also, did you lose alot of top end speed? Also I noticed I had to keep it at 50% throttle or more to fly level and stable.
Idk if I did something wrong or put props on backwards 😂 which I doubt but I just felt like it needed more throttle to slow fly
@nichollsboy11 you got a pusher and a normal prop correct? I haven't flown for a while, but I'm pretty sure I didn't need much throttle to fly.
@@rzrak2039 yup ordered apc pusher and regular, but the ones I just got seem to be heavier than the 13x4 prop by apc I just ordered. They say electric props but they are super stiff and heavier. I may order the 13x4 prop I have on my evolution cause its lighter weight

Looks like you went with full span ailerons.
I cant get my twinber to stop rolling to the right, I turned off differential trust, all control surfaces are in line, rudder straight and it still rolls to the right. I even programmed the esc's, idk whats going on, I set it up like all my other planes
id check the control horns on ailerons and flaps, they are probably loose and need glued back in. also id re glue the servo brackets in wings. out of the 2 twinbers we have both had these issues and will make it fly wonkey. be a good starting point at least.
@@rzrak2039 yes thank you id never of thought to check that, it flies like shit I have to trim so much to fly straight. I'm also ordering a tacho to measure rpm to see if one motor is running differently. Thanks for the advice ill look into that

if u need more power, try a 4s battery, it will work great!
We always use 4s, what it needs is 8s... :)
