Turtle gaming
I mean they kinda threw by trying to maintain the item lock and not just going poltergeist back to back
@MrWessiide poltergeist loses the game for them there. As I'd be able to take 3 prizes off of ping to KO plus KO whatever is promoted. Or just the ability to wellspring ogerpon active and the benched dusk/dusc. It depends on when specifically in the game you're referring to, but either way, them stopping lock wins the game for me off of pings more often than continuing to try to set up math for a Noir into Geist swing turn.
Stoked you all won!!!
Yeah I'm so hyped. Sunny Carried for sure, man won all 3 of his games. I'm just hyped I won 2 of my 3.

What's your opinion about adding Hawlucha for closing damage against fez/ogerpon and babies with 70 HP, anda Mela for a counterplay after a disrupt in the mid-late game ?
If you play the pidgeot version without the dusknoir line, I think hawlucha is a fantastic inclusion. In this variation, because you have dusknoir and radiant alakazam, I do not believe Lucha to be necessary. I have been between crispin and Mela, but mela relies on them KOing you, so if they don't and you prize sparkling crystal, your only way to get turn 2 phantom dive is with crispin. I could see playing both mela and crispin, but idk what I'd cut for it.

How old is this video, basicaly nothing except be prepared is relevant any more in R/A Control

Correction, I was at 1-0-2 after the Lost Box round. Not 1-1-2
Hitting 4 Lugia in 6 rounds is so unfortunate.
The what (I am so glad Regidrago is still relevant)
The idea to trap with Mawile is super smart. I like the BM Ursaluna as well.
Froslass damage go wheeeeeeeeee
Lass damage go WHEEEEEEEEE
What if you get stuck with raging bolt and you can't scoop up because you already used it or it just doesn't come in help? I don't like the basic dragon choice here, it could break consistency
With ogerpon its kinda necessary to get those big OHKOs. Also you can get Cyclone back with Regidrago's vstar power.

Thoughts on an iron bundle to give you another free gust for Manaphy/the second attack?
They likely wouldnt send up manaphy so I dont think its as worth it in this deck
@@ongaard oh duh I forgot they choose
@@culbycc17 if you got to choose you'd see bundle as a 4of in some decks
@@ongaard feels like you could still find some plays for 1 right? If there’s Manaphy and something else on their bench that’s useful, wouldn’t you catch somebody sending Manaphy?
@@culbycc17 that's true. baiting them into sending up manaphy with bundle would lead to a cologne play. But you need to make sure you don't let them know you have cologne. Cause if you grab cologne + bundle off irida, they'll know what you're going for.
Can you make a profile for the froslass version?
I'll probably get around to it, I have a few other decks I'd like to cover first.
I don't think Ultra Ball is that necessary tbh
Its mainly as a piece that can grab Lucha or Pult. But its more a luxury than a necessity.
I have a similar list for lost draga, but with a thiner draga line 3-3-2, realistically you only using one or two per game, then u can include tech cards like lost vacuum, rare candy or just more ball search
Yeah I was considering going down to a 3-3-2 to get more techy with the list.
Ok... I'm in....
Lessgooooo, a gazer comment on the video means a W video.
I definitely like this list and will try it out. Some cards I think could be added are another tm devo which I think really helps against matchups like zard and Roxanne as a late game disruption card. Maybe take an iono out for Roxanne?
roxanne could be good, I focused on streamlining it more for this build but roxanne is definitely a great option to have. 2nd devo could be good, but I don't think it's necessary, 2nd devo feels more necessary in the Froslass build.
@@ongaard ye, makes sense with the devo. It mainly just helps in the charizard matchup and maybe mirror match, but nothing else
i haven't played in a while, but seeing the dragapult and pulling up Dragapult VMAX as a comparison was very funny air mail my beloved i think it's much more fun than the Trade pokemon thanks for the deck profile iirc most decks at the time were running 10-12 energy, is 7 a more common number nowadays or is it just because this deck has the Cramorant and a 2-energy main attacker that doesn't need to come in until mirage gate is live?
Depends on the deck but for this build where the attackers only use 1-2 energy, 7 is fine. Most decks run around 10 energy, but there are low ends of like 6 to higher ends of literally 18 energy. Honestly depends on the deck and the gameplan. This deck has so much draw between comfey and drakaloak that finding what you need is pretty easy and thus warrants less energy.
@@ongaard Thanks! Hope you're doing well. Keep up the good work.
@HylasterGG I'm doing well, hope you are as well.
I love how many options Dragapult has
I need to use this deck
Its a ton of fun to play
I can’t wait to open up this set!
Ikr, im so hyped for it
Try out Greninja with Froslass. It snipes engines and weapons relevant Pokemon to one shot range or barrage range
Yeah Ive been playing that one as well. It does have a shakier pult matchup but I still love the deck
Shakier? I would think it’s better just due to the second stage having 100 hp and an ability
I gotta stick bravery charms on my bibarels smh
but they're evolutions so that wouldn't work :v Double manaphy would protect them though.
So I'm new to the game but isn't that first attack just unbelievably good? One energy for 170 AND a free tutor is unreal to me. How is this not a top tier contender? I assume it's just because the evolution line is weird to fit into fighting decks, but idk.
Yeahs it pretty good but it’s a stage 3 evolution
The issue with it is just damage output. Which is why we play ursaluna bloodmoon for the late game. But the deck is incredibly specific. Dragapult is a bit better for its middle stage being a draw engine and having more flexibility in its spread. But this + radiant tsareena is good into that archetype.
That's not exactly the issue, because Zard is currently bdif and is also a stage 2 that needs candy, and this runs the same engine. Damage output is the main limiting factor.
@@ongaard Ursaluna with double turbo energy and waiting till opponent gets 3 prizes to do 220 is much slower than equipping max belt turn one to do 220 and tutor a card imo. I’d rather just equip max belt in this deck specifically because the first attack is good.
@@Thishandleisnt_availablemax belt would be useless against everything except chien pao. U do more damage but it doesnt change the fact that u Need to attack two times.
I cant wait to try out Greninja
I love the hot dog
I would definetly add zeraora against mimikyu
I'm currently playing pogo zapdos. Helps for hitting that 230 number turn 1 too.
Sorry, I had a stupid question, I’m not quite understanding ( Mulans ability ). I understand when she wins a challenge the rest of her partners get plus one lore that turn .. my question is do you instantly when those lures, depending on how many partner cars you have out with Mulan that turn? or do the other cards have to challenge opponents other cards in order to get that extra +1 Lore, that turn?? I guess? I’m Just a bit confused….???
MoonMoon is such a fun deck. With such a funny name too.
Yeah, the deck is a ton of fun to play.
We refer to it as DunDunMoon or it can go by Dun Duns and Dragons 😅
@@aaronhopton6469 ive heard the second name but not the first
Its a lot of supporters
yeah, the deck kinda needs to draw a ton of cards each turn to do the big bonks.
I love meowscarada decks yours is ok mine is a little different. No radiant alakazam?
Radiant Alakazam is a card I'd like to find room for in this list, but hasnt felt necessary due to valiant being able to place the damage anywhere. Sorry for the late response.
To also draw cards you can play the tinkatink mentioned in this decklist that allows you to draw a card and then the new relicanth that allows you to use pre-evolved attacks/abilities.
that could work, but at the same time I think you'd rather just get chip damage
Love to see some matches with these decks
I'd love to do more gameplay, I just havent had the time lately due to work and college. Game Design is super time consuming so I can't always sit down to record. I want to stream more again after I finish my current semester, so the streams should be a good way to see gameplay for decks when I get back into the streaming groove.
Cool video, do you think arceus vulpix would be good to orlando?
I definitely think it's good into Orlando. It does shut down quite a few matchups. However one thing to keep in mind while facing zard is that they can countercatcher boss around you to get around your attack. But if you can set up 2 vulpix you should be fine in that matchup.
Futcha Box
