If it did crank, then i would say it is the newly swapped ECU, immobolizer problem, but if it doesn’t even crank then i guess problem lies somewhere else

Ty, I lay them in and if it starts with no problem I’ll go ahead and tap them in. If it feels stressful in an area or won’t start with somewhat ease I trim them. The 2 I’m currently running I did not take back to machine shop. I do get nervous on the ones that have already been machined but if it flares the surface aluminum you can just take it to the machine shop so they can surface again. The goal is to put them in then go to machine shop but if I’m running a clean oem block that doesn’t need anything but a hone it’s not going unless it messes up anything going in. If you have to absolutely beat it to death to go in then it could put too much pressure on a part of the cylinder and could possibly tweak it. I have ran the crap out of a k24a2 for years with Cometic gasket studs type s pump and valve train for higher revs with stock bottom. The k20 stock bottom didn’t last as long I bent the rods after about 9 months. This is running mid to low 11’s and touching 10.80’s multiple times on pump gas I got greedy on the bone stock k20a2. Now I’ve got a built short block with block guard and full valve train. I need a better 60ft I’m trapping 144mph then the trans gave out so I bought a dog box. I made 606 with a gt35 pulsar and I can swap back and forth to a precision 6766 depending on event.( now that I have a trans that can hold it) goals 9.5 this year to match my mph but hopefully a bit faster

They do but for it to run right, the computer in a base rsx automatic will run a k24 from an accord, element, or crv but not the k24a2 from tsx. The tsx k24a2 has true vtec on both cams like a k20a2,z1,z3. The rsx base k20a3 has the same single vtec cam like the accord element and crv. So is you have a base rsx automatic you can use the 03-07 accord k24, element or crv and the computer will run it pretty good. But it will not run the tsx k24a2 or any true vtec engine properly without the risk of damage. Hope that helps

@@pedroc9852 I know you can install Hondata on the automatic ecu’s now but I think it is just for manuals. I’m not 100% sure I personally have never done one but you can call Hondata tomorrow and ask. I’m sure a full stand alone can be done with enough inputs but it would cost so much.

Yes and still running it, I moved it to the mr2 and put a bigger one on my civic. On a low compression motor ( lower than 9.5.1) it made 606@32lbs I was trapping 144mph. Boosted boiz put one on their red hatch recently and ran an 8.9 @44lbs I believe. I didn’t want to push it that hard but now I may swap it back to the civic to race in the 62mm class and turn it up! I put my precision 6766 on civic ran 35 lbs and shredded the transmission so…. I had to buy a dog box

@@i4boosting328 probably don’t remember me. But I met you at Kentucky import with Counterfeit. I had a red turbo integra. We talked for awhile there lol. But I was looking into a Pulsar or a VsRacing turbo.

Wow that’s a big difference between motors. I hope data comes with one 😂 The cam profiles are nothing alike. K24a2 has true vtec on both cams. K20a3 has only 1 vtec cam. You could have drop a k24 from an accord, element or crv and it’d ran the same style head and been pretty good, safe and you’d had more torque. But… you have 2 options to make it run better kpro would be best & easiest or get a stock type s prb from an 02-04 rsx type s and run the k tuned immobilizer or get an ecu with matching key or have your key programmed to it. You will be happier when you get to use the power, hope you were nice not naughty 👿 and maybe someone will get you one

The roads are back roads and parking lots that the test is taking on. So I believe 15-35mph depending which one. In the actual city if your coming in on the highway it’s 65mph down to 55mph right before the state troopers office where you take the test, then 45mph after Walmart all the way down to 25mph in the square. That I know of unless it’s changed.

Hopefully yours is an updated product and you don’t have a problem with it. On a real “brand tool” you would not take the bolt out. The flat piece on the bottom of the tool would sit on the crank and allow the bolt to spin in the flat piece like a pivotal ball and would push in as the arms pull the pulley out. But on the JUNK that they sent out the flat piece is not pivotal it is threaded so as you turn it, the bolt just goes down through the threads and does nothing. So that is why the bolt was ran back in by hand and set out about a 1/4 inch so I could go a little at a time. Like you would do on other pullers. I hope they fixed the issue I’ve called and complained and reported through Amazon as a faulty tool that is worthless but there is absolutely nothing we can do about it due to the seller not taking returns. So I lost out and had to buy an expensive one anyway.

It’s coming soon, with FD and s2k content, I shredded the trans in the civic again in Kentucky at street car takeover. Had a lot of ups and downs over the last year or so but bout to start posting again!

Great! I’ve had it in my mr2 for a couple years running 11’s and 12’s but in my civic it lasted about 6 months running 10’s launching on slicks
