January 6 that’s all these pinheads have anymore.
We have tried and gave all the thought to be entitled everything they wanted and look where it got us! now there is more hate and more antisemitism. It doesn’t work let’s get back to the great devide. No help, no handouts. You succeed or die.
It's absolutely UNBELIEVABLE, but sadly totally believable that they were going to knock this down. Kudos to you for this!!! I look forward to seeing this home.
Good stuff. Thanks.
Very interesting. Thanks from Luzerne County.
Great video. Enjoyed the history. Thanks!
Excellent video. I currently work at the lion brewery and love hearing about our past. I see that you use drone shots in your videos. If you ever need another local, licensed pilot, feel free to contact me. Heres a video i made last year flying around those lovely buildings. th-cam.com/video/etrEVrqG77c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=63-vJznzDg1IkB46
Thank you Mr. Brook!!!..Very interesting documentary..so much history there is in Wilkes Barre.. soon I will go to live in that wonderful city..I am trying to know everything about it ..I look forward to seeing the Zebulun Butler House museum..blessings!!!
I was born in WB but have been in NJ for years. I learned so much from this video. I went to St. Nicks too!
She's a Boston-Tea-Party woman & her name is Jill Biden in NEPA!✨✨✨✨✨✨👩👩👩👩👩👩🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎
German Roman Catholic 🙄🙄🙄 sounds like an altar boys worst nightmare
My 4th great grandfather, Isaac Kinney Finch survived the Wyoming Massacre, his father, Isaac, was killed.
I guess someone should ask. What year?
I would like to see tours of the Stegmaier Mansions get included if possible.
Excellent video!
Too bad someone didn't get their rear in gear before the Fell Tavern was destroyed for more parking. Why is this channel dead?
That is sad about the Fell house. Torn down in the 80s?
Obviously a dead channel. So much promise and only five videos - and the newest is two years old.
I wish you were still producing these videos. They are so interesting and educational. Your voice is crisp and a pleasure to listen to. I'm just curious why they demolished the Old Fell house? I would think that was the most monumentous, historical building of our area. Thank you for your dedication to Pennsylvanias history.
Very well done. Enjoyed every minute! KUDOS!!!
Outstanding production. Very educational! Thank You!!
Wilke Barre stinks. There's a lot they can do with: that town .
Still cannot find the 1960s'/1970's Stegmaier Ring A Ding Ding radio jingle !
A lot of German heritage in the area.
All of the great stuff they did, yet our politicians are some of the most corrupt in the country, and the roads are crumbling under our feet.
Tony, excellent history and production of Wilkes-barre! Great camera work too! You mentioned Zebulon Butler! I am a direct-blood descendent of a Capt. Samuel Ransom who served under Zebulon Butler. My 6th great grandfather, Captain Samuel Ransom lost his life fighting the British and their Iroquois / Mohawk allies. Samuel was originally a peaceful land surveyor who was part of the Susquehanna Company commissioned by King Charles I of Britain. Ironically Connecticut had a claim to the Wilkes-barre / Wyoming Vally area as Samuel served in a Connecticut regiment and is buried at the Battle of Wyoming Valley monument/battlefield. I am also related to the Steeles, a Scots-Irish family who settled in Wilkes-barre. The Steele family ran the main ferry service between Wilkes-bare and Kingston, PA.
Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, filthy dirty corrupt dumps.
Perrin Ross was my 6th great grandfather!
This aint the welles house
Mt step dad was of Pittston -Hales of CT to there before 1800s
It's OURS! who is on the mortgage. What is the contract for the next 200 yeaARS. LITTLE TRUST of WELL MEANING NON-PROFITS. The documents should be public. In a moment.
So darn messed up. History as told by the undereducated. Curator. Hah. READ WILKES BARRE. NOT BERRY-- All you people perpetuate ZIP. You likely do not even know of FRS (17 October 1725 - 26 December 1797) was a British radical
Great job Tony!
Excellent stuff. Really enjoyed this. I am planning on making one from a cemetery near where I grew up in Niantic, Conn. (then Lyme, Ct) where many of these families came from. With more than 25 veterans from the Rev War buried there... some great stories. Btw- Lexington Alarm - they did not fight at Lexington and Concord but "responded" to the call and headed to greater Boston. Many who stayed more than the minimum were at Bunker Hill and later Dorchester Heights. The Lexington affair was fought by men from that area and towns surrounding. Zebulon Butler´s family had a house, still standing on Butlertown Rd in modern day East Lyme. Also from the area was Col. John Butler a Tory who is honored in Canada.
THIS SEMETARY IS VERY HAUNTED SO INTERESTING.
THRS A PART OF THT CEMETERY THT IS COMPLETELY ABANDONED I FELT VERY DISAPPOINTED WHN I SAW THT
Believe you are referring to the Wilkes-Barre City Cemetery next door to the Hollenback Cemetery. Very sad. No part of Hollenback Cemetery is abandoned. It's well taken care of by the staff.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
It really is. I had no idea about this house, etc.
CAN I DO A PARANORMAL URBAN EXPLORATION THR
My my
Two of my relatives are buried in the Civil War section of Hollenback Cemetery.
Used to walk by the house all the time and knew nothing about it.
This was a great video, I learned a lot. I had no idea too about this place!
Awesome! The drone video at the end was fantastic!
That was fantastic! Thank you Tony and all that produced this video.
"Ring-a-ding-ding do the Stegmaier thing"!
Great job guys. Very informative!
