and most immigrants wouldn't stay in western countries is just for the money. they come here thinking is better arrive here be like hell nah. the only reason they stay is because it was hard to get here and a long journey. they going just work send money back and one day leave the country.

What about noise? I fled to Argentina from Ecuador, because the culture here is more respectful regarding noise pollution. Really all LATAM outside the Southern Cone has the noise pollution culture. Paraguay's in the southern cone, but it's kind of it's own thing. It's it noisy? I don't mean traffic and honking. I'm talking about music being played wayyyy too loud. Dogs constantly barking for hours on end, with owners who don't care. Loudspeakers on garbage and cooking gas delivery trucks, blasting music to let you know they're nearby. Even roosters crowing (yes, even in cities). Is there a lot of that type of noise pollution?

LOL talking about Colombia at night? I think that's a mistake people make over there. It's not any different at night, robberies happening 24/7, one can't get more "confident" during any point of the day there. I've spent a year and done walks at all hours, solo, not been robbed yet. I don't think that means it's safe & wouldn't claim that though but I'm too cheap for taxis.

yeah bro im originally from Las Vegas but I been living here in Villa Morra, Asuncion the past 14 months. so far so good with no complaints. The city is still pretty slept on for sure.

1500$ a month is like living as a millionaire here... Not even doctors and engineers can have that cost of living hahaha. The thing is that the money exchange changes the game for foreigners. Also, you should visit the cities outside of Asunción to truly know this country.

My hangup on research is renting an apartment for a year. You need a local guarantor & unlike other countries (Colombia, Argentina, etc.) there are 0 Google results or Reddit results of people explaining how it can be done. This country is just so unknown, there is no info online! I'm only interested in signing at least a 1year contract, I'll do Airbnb like 1 month and that's it.

What lawyer do you have that is feeding you this about what "foreign earned income" is? Or is this just your own idea? The reason I ask: there's a serious problem online with layman thinking "I don't have Paraguay sourced income because the company I invoice is overseas". But in 99% of the countries on earth, you have locally sourced income if you do any activity on the soil of that country that lead to that money getting paid out. People don't understand basic international tax laws at all. It's possible Paraguay really honest to god does it different, but in 99% of countries, Nomads UNCONDITIONALLY have locally sourced income.
