That sounded surprisingly good! I always thought George Harrison's guitar looked pretty cool, for a cheap Fender knock off. Supposedly he recorded the "pre-Beatles" song "Cry For A Shadow" with it.

Is the Dave Simpson video the one you were talkin about? Did your pickups get changed? His only had 3 pole pieces one each pickup. Neck is 3 for the bass and bridge 3 for treble strings.

I have 16 guitars but I like this one. A guitar with its own character. A sound that you can't get out of a modern guitar. And the longer I play the guitar, the less the demands become. At least with me. All you need is just a shelf of strings and if you can get music out of that you are a good musician.

I don't think people do these justice by playing gain through those old A3 P90's. They never sound good imho. Now plug it in to a clean blackface or silverface amp and play some jazz, funk, r&b or clean blues .. totally different animal.

I’ve been into this shop a few times in thame I live not too far away in didcot Oxford. Every time I visit this shop I get totally ignored!! This guy never says hello or good bye ! A few times I’ve been over I considered purchasing of a vintage fender or Gibson guitar but as I’ve been walking around I get ignored and never asked if I need help ! So I decided to to purchase anything Just to let you guys know (Phil) I just bought two vintage guitars a 67 Gibson SG and 64 fender Stratocaster all original and very expensive.. As I said before would of bought something from your shop but no not after the sheer rudeness.. .. Good luck

I had a red one with the 6 tuners in a single line, which gave it more of a Strat look, and sounded great through a Vox AC 30 twin celestial speaker unit. I can't believe I swapped it for a Hofner bass. Still kicking myself!
