Balancing a Leaning Tree Part 2 Angle Monitor

This is a cheap and simple way to monitor the angle of a leaning tree over time.
Balancing a Leaning Tree Part 1
มุมมอง 1363 หลายเดือนก่อน
This apple tree is on the verge of falling over due to the limbs growing out of balance. I pruned the ends of two heavy 6-8 in. diameter horizontal limbs to help lighten the load. The 20v Dewalt pole saw made this part safe and easy. I'll try to monitor the angle of the trunk to see if further remediation is needed.
Removing Stumps by Pulling with a Farm Jack

A simple cheap easy to install attic ventilation fan. This was only installed as a test or concept, but if it works it works! The proper ones have much more airflow, but this is really quiet and cheap as free.

Cool vacuum excavation project. Are you able to get a burn permit to get rid of this that way would take a while however? I’m not exactly sure the goal but I may have missed it in the video descriptions.
Nature is strong 😊😊😊
I put a question on your other video, I’m looking to see what’s inside the upper housing.
Have you opened the end where the chain is, I busted the upper pole and need to replace it, but have not open the upper end yet.
Interesting, can i ask you why people wants these stumps/roots removed ?
Good question, this stump is in my front lawn so removing it will look better and allow for easier mowing. Also it's been an entertaining challenge to augment my basic tools into a miniature vacuum excavator.
I love how the increased speed makes the ax hits sound so much less powerful haha.
I WAS SO SCARED AT FIRST HELP
@@mafruzabegum453 I was SO SCARED the entire time! Luckily this creature only demanded a few head scritches before he let me pass his sidewalk. I'm glad I survived. 😆
Where can I get a break down of that sweet set-up?
Devianti !!!
Great idea to attach the pvc extended arm to the vac hose!
Thanks! It really saves my back and helps the vacuum work better too. I attached it using a chainlink fence rail bracket, I like the way it came out :)
you are a magneto at attracting animals, cannot wait the next episode with a dragon
Remember how the movie 'Reign of Fire' started? I wonder what may lurk beneath this stump... Edit: There was a frog under there, but I didn't get any video of it.
@@aCraftyCapybara It LOOKED like a frog. Did you ask it any questions? If you trick it into answering, you can see what it really is! (note to young women - they're NEVER actually a prince!) <wink>
thats great affection,,, very comfortable cat !
If it works, it works my friend.
Lmao f it, if it works, it works 💪
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Capbyara
very interesting, do you think it was a danger ?
It was mostly a danger to itself, the only structure in falling range is that split-rail wood fence. I suppose if someone were hanging out under it during a storm they could get squished. I hope everyone has enough sense to go inside during a storm, the owner of this tree certainly does, lol.
thats good eatin'
I have groundhog female with babies here. She comes almost every year. She eats dandelions, violet leaves, etc. They are so beautiful to watch.

So damn cute ! 🥹

Happy Capy :)
You have no power here!
Return to your tower o great wizard.
Cutest Gandalf actor ever.
It's a close call between him and Sir Ian McKellen :-P
@@aCraftyCapybara Just beware of the Sarucat.
He requires a treat to go back outside.
The best I can do is a head pat and a few pellets of dry food.
You're his vacation home.
Haha so adorable! Such a happy catybara
Cute,please don’t sterilise these animals
Don't worry, I wasn't planning to. 😛 Sorry to joke about that, but I'm sure their keepers are taking great care of them. They're building a new and improved habitat for them also :)
Damn cute mini tiger. So glad he is so happy in his forever home.
Ok i pull up
Never reject the love of a cat ... i did it once due the request of his owner and broke my heart to find him dead in my garden some months later. It's one of the things that still hurt me the most even after 20 years. You dont need to feed him but keep some treats for him and allow him to go inside. The freedom of a living being, the affection of a living being, must be always respected.
I'm so sorry for your loss, I'll always remember and miss the cats I've lost as well.🫂 This one will always have a cat door here, and a safe place to nap and receive pets. I can also contact his family if he needs anything, they take great care of him :)
Giant hamster??
Pretty much! They're more like giant Guinea pigs though.
Kapibara 😄😄😄😄😄
Those cat enclosures are so small. 😢
This video doesn't show their full enclosures. Most of their homes are quite large and include enrichment such as balls, large carboard boxes, and sturdy tree limbs for climbing and scratching. I didn't see any signs of distress when observing them, they seemed to be normal healthy wildcats.
Do they small (bad)?
This one didn't smell at all, she seemed clean and healthy. She is small though :-P.
Let him stay,let him stay
He can visit, but he needs to return to his real family.
lol Gandalf understands you
Whenever it goes to the door, tell it "You shall not pass!"
YOU SHALL NOT PASS... without petting me 🙂
Cats are good at having more than one house
🙋♀️💖😍🥰😘🐈⬛🥰🤗😍🎶 part timebkittyv
Unbeknownst to many cats are sensitive animals. They feel the pain of rejection or the appearance of it, for example. Factor in their territorial instincts and the recipe is ripe for them to abandon all that's familiar and comfy. They don't stray far, though. They would still hang around the neighbourhood, sometimes as close by as the next-door neighbour. Oftentimes, it's just a case of cats being adventurous which is second nature to them. They love exploring the outdoors. Btw, Gandalf is a lovely nickname, magical, like the make-believe realm of Tolkien's Middle Earth.
Thank you so much for your advice and wisdom. I've stopped feeding him here, but he still has his catdoor and free reign of our house, beds, and chairs. I hope he won't feel rejected by me since he's still welcome to hangout, nap, and hunt here. He needs to return home though, his family misses him more than I will.
I had to give my beloved inside/outside cat to my sister hundress of miles away. After relocating him, I learned my neighbors, whom he visited daily, would have loved to take him in. I was heartbroken. Apparently, cats can choose to be served by more than one loving family. ❤❤❤
I hope your sister shares lots of stories about him! Gandalf looked a little guilty when he saw me meeting his owners, I don't think he told them that he was seeing other people on the side, lol.
@@aCraftyCapybara 😊 I visited quite a bit. He always remembered me and was very affectionate. 🥰
@@aCraftyCapybara😂😂
Oh, keep giving him little treats! He seems very healthy and at least from my experience with Maine Coons they are very active. So the occasional treat won't hurt him. Think of it like offering a visitor tea and a biscuit.
What a chill dude.
