Should you have stated to first turn the water of at the supply valve before removing the cartridge? I’m pretty certain if you take a cartridge out under water pressure it’s going to cause a problem.
This doesn’t look like a window unit.
Can you show how you insulated the shed?
I don't have any junction box on my wall. So how to instal brand new one like this. If i order do i need to have a camera set up before?. Am so upset as i have watched so many videos and haven't found any which helps me to instal new one on the brand new wall.
Good job 👍
I don’t even need to do this but it just looks fun
So redneck and cheapest way for the white man 😅
I can seriously vouch for this. There is another version of this, its grey cloth, you just wet it and wrap it to anything, including pipes that heat up up to 400degrees ferenheat. I shit you not, i applied it to my semi truck radiator pipe in an emergency situation, and drove the truck like that for 7months and no leaks, till i decided to just replace the pioe just because it didnt look nice.
A neighbor lady called me over to her with her toilet leaking from the supply line. And i just got off work. I don't know anything about plumbing. And this was on a Friday night. The plumber she called was not gonna be in till Tuesday. It was gonna cost her 100$ just for him to show up and take a look. Not fix it just take a look. She got lucky i had some teflon tape on me. Grab my wrench and locking pliers and went to work. Got it fixed and told her to save up to get it fix properly and don't know how long it gonna hold for. It held till she moved out 5 years later. She called that plumber. He didn't sound happy from what I heard. So many people just can't afford to get anything fixed.
Nice job helping her out!
Ummmm just replace the pipe
The purpose of the patch is to buy time. In my case the leaky pipe is in a rental house and the bid was $5000 to replace the pipe from the house to the water meter. All I needed to do is wait about a month and I could replace the pipe for about $300 with my labor.
I rather pay the $12 more and do 2 coats anyway so I can sand in between. I mean if you just want to sell the house or its a rental sure id stop at the 1 coat.
No. Just no.
Not everyone has $3000 to $5000 to pay a plumber to replace an entire rusted pipe.
@@edsdiyhandymanshow3944 well that'll end up doing far more damage with far more cost
@@edsdiyhandymanshow3944 also, a simple leak isn't thousands of dollars. Lmao
I line Marin county California and digging a 30 foot trench and installing a new water line from the house to the water meter under the sidewalk Does cost $5k…ouch!
@@edsdiyhandymanshow3944have fun with inevitable worse water leak
Временное решение. Где есть свищ, дальше это сильнее будет разрушаться.
Most painters pre-paint any sharpie/stains with Zinsser BIN before rolling.
Well done. Any suggestions for where the timber post is in excellent condition? I don't want to remove the concrete - just the wood.
Every trade requires its own bag of tricks. For homeowners or DIY’s who are capable of doing the work but haven’t been around the trade long enough to learn all the tricks, pointing out the caulk /tape trick is super helpful. Thank you. Looking forward to more content!
Definitely a mickey mouse operation here. I see a lot of no no's :(
Good tips
EXCELLENT VIDEO. What a great idea thank you!!! I was trying to hold them while hosing it wasn't working. Came across this video. Genius! Thanks again.
Why would you cut a stud out?
How did the set up go on the wifi connection? Roku was very user unfriendly
Great video! Thanks!
Do you think the slightly covered vents will affect it?
how do you block the side vents from blowing condensation into the wall
Can I use a dremer tool?
I just used a drill bit on my electric drill, positioned it near the thread, and drilled in to the plastic nut a little bit. Same concept, but using the tools I had around! Thanks for the tip.
Thank you. No experience woman here about to try that. Let you know.
@@_vonnie You got this! 🖤🖤
@@UCp6Q6kiCeqBUSLE7IYCO35g I actually did get it!!! It looked like a panther chewed through it, but I used your method as well as a hammer and a scraper and I just tapped like Andy off of Shawshank.
Where can i get this AC to purchase
Thank you for making the video. It was very, very helpful.
how do you know which wire is the ground wire?
this was so helpful! thank you so much
EXACTLY the video I needed! Thx
Nice job!!! Easy tutorial. Thank you.
Well done, looks easy when the old post is dry and rotton all the way through,I have a similar problem with the post just snapped off level with the ground and the wood below is still good,I've had this before and its a pain chiseling the post out, still looking for a easier way to do it.
Genuis
this is not knowledge I didn’t know that I needed that I need, lol! Thank you !
That framing is absolutely NOT a code job. No header, no jack studs no king studs...smh Horrible abomination of carpentry work, this is why permits are required and inspections done.
😂It's a shed.... Easy genius
Don't let him fool you, he is renting this out on Airbnb 😂
"Rustic cabin, $300/night, $90 cleaning fee"
Botched job...
No header required? Getting ready to do this and would love not have to take existing walls out to accommodate a header. I know you do for windows and doors, but maybe not this? Nice video!
It's a freaking 20lb unit... If you have to ask that question maybe you should leave that project alone and keep sweating...
You absolutely always need a header and footer when you remove any studs. This video is not showing a proper job when it comes to this installation.
Had to put a 10,000 window ac in the wall up in height where an old 18,000 btu wall ac was alone and i can tell you my arms was hurting the next morning 😂 but i found the strength and did it just happy nothing landed on my feet because to heavy.
Ah, yes you do need to do something with the other stud.. How about running a header into it to carry the roof where you cut the stud in half ?
That's a gable end, there is no roof load.
Great 👍 job keep 👏
Next time, cover the tv to prevent dust from getting in. Also, insulate the gaps before adding trim.
My ac is black and it plays rap music.
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks! I did not expect the leaf blower haha
Use plumbers putty.
We inherited our RING floodlight camera when we moved so we don’t have the manual with the QR code. Would be lovely to see a video where the QR code is located on device itself. I haven’t found a single install video yet that can help us.
I don’t own one of these tools. Do you think I can chisel mine off?
Can you power the thermostat with the romex in the wall supplying the 110V outlets?
That's too much work man. I got like 5ft wide blinds too. I throw them in a tub. Its too much work too 😢 anyone know what other blind I can get that are cheap but not bad material 😉???
That's a great idea too!
@@Carcassbits11 My original comment was posted 7 days ago, and I am still doing this crap 😆 🤣 😂 im gonna lose my mind trying to keep up with the Jones. About to take my bugout bag and head for the hills 😆 🤣 😂 sleeping with the animals is sounding better that working for these wolves anymore. To bad I can't get my family to come. Guess it takes a little crazy in this insane world. This place is a damn Psychword. I don't wanna fit in. Sorry for the vent... lol i took a 550mg gummy an hour ago 😅 🙃 😂
