Sanders was profiled on “60 Minutes” and “Good Morning America.” Jackson State even hosted ESPN’s “College GameDay,” a show often reserved to spotlight one of week’s biggest games. He provided a platform for his players to get exposure and compensation through endorsement deals, and Jackson State and other HBCU games were showcased more often on TV because of Sanders. ====== Which part get attributed to the Devil and which part to God? I am an atheist, so help me out here! Without the hard work and dedication to excellence the players and coaches have to develop the skills set required, nothing much happens. One of the interviews I was so darn good, the guy asked me could I start? When could I start? At the conclusion of the interview, I’m not lying, [they asked], ‘when could you really start?'” ====== Typically during interviews for a position, an offer would be put out on the table. It suggests that Coach Prime did not accept the offers on the table and instead preferred to take the JSU one for his own reasons. It was a short 3 year contract. Maybe the prior offers were for a longer commitment period that he did not want or any other reason. The suggestion that only JSU would hire him doesn’t sound logical. He just refused to crawl up anyone’s behind just to get the job, and awaited the right opportunity to flex his coaching skills.

Fam, I am going to humbly disagree. It’s not that nobody thought Travis, under Deion, would not be great. It’s that the chorus of doubters and haters painted a narrative that made it hard for anyone to believe - except those who BELIEVE. just like everyone turned on Deion at the end of last season. Instead of saying that there was a 400% increase in wins over 1-11, the narrative became: look at CU. All that talk and their season was a failure. Nobody that knew how Colorado was the past 5 seasons would have agreed with that. So, with that as the backdrop, those that followed Deion from Atlanta and MLB knew that there was no limit. Outsiders focused on the “limitations”.

Hey man I'm 6'3 and 235 pound only a sophomore i play DE/LB and I still have more room to grow! I am projected to be 6'5 and I play for not a great highschool football team. My Inspirations and my dream is for me to go Division 1 in football. I have a 3.0 GPA right now and I need guidance of me trying to go do you want if you can give me any advice I would really appreciate it. Because I see kids in my grade they already have division 1 offers. Also another question I have when do most people get Division 1 offers?

@@T3SKI54 Hey bro. You have the size and grades. The only thing you have to do is 1.) stop comparing yourself to others. Everybody doesn’t get offers at the same time. I played against Deebo Samuel in high school. He didn’t get any offers until his senior season was almost over. Then I played with some people that got offers in 9th grade and they didn’t even make it to the NFL. 2.) Work hard on your game everyday. Master your skill set. Watch the great NFL players and see what they do. 3.) Get some film and start reaching out to coaches. Take control of your own destiny. If you want it bad, you’ll get it.

I apologize. I thought I did. I would recommend 2-3 times a week. It really depends on your fitness level.
