    He’s a business man and has several business men with huge brains working with him. I believe it can be done without destroying social security however, in the future, if democrats win, they could dismantle everything good President Donald Trump did for we the people as Biden did (it just broke my heart) and they could potentially destroy the social security system and blame it all on President Trump. They hate him so much.

    Serious question. How do these people survive years without income?

  • @mstie3008
    @mstie3008 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

    So I'm on Social Security I'm a survivor benefit for my husband who passed away and now I make 26,000 a year now they want to tax me, Social Security is my only source of income But they give you a 2.5 in the beginning of the year only to make your check a tiny bit higher so you can pay it back in taxes makes no sense does it????

    Ohio told if SSDI and worked can not get Medicaid and 5 month wait and then qualify SSDI then 2 years to get Medicare so not sure this is right as I have 2 year wait time as Medicare SSDI under age and since worked entire life can not get SSi or Medicaid like a welfare program so penalty for working even if sick n took all had and this is not right

    How do they expect people who are in ssi disability to survive?!! I understand it is not for comfort or luxury but with inflation since the 1950s it does not compute can we please advocate to raise disability benefits . Over 98 percent of applicants are legit the application process is brutal it’s very hard to play the system you need doctor proof that you can’t work any job at all . I know people who have no legs no arms or are blind or cancer who still get benefits. Please advocate for the disabled ! And let them live with dignity and have food and enough for housing electricity clothes !!

    The past 20 years it hasn't kept up with inflation. Counting these recent COLAs benefit increases are still 30% from where they should be, because after you review its history then you'll find the lost decade where on average COLA increase was Zero and it was already bad before that.

    No one is gaming the disability benefits system. That is a conspiracy theory. The theory is promoted by people with unrealistic expectations of pensioners.

      Yes raise it because 26,000 I make a year my only money on Social Security and no other job I'm retired I'll be 72 but did I sit down and look at the bills I pay No not at all and then they give you a 2.5 raise which makes your check slightly higher so they can take it back in taxes

    Most reasons patients are declined is because those making these decisions are making them in the best interest of the Ins companies and their own pocketbooks. These people, for the most part are incompetent and foolish w no knowledge of patients or procedures.

    What is this about the 5 months they take benefits from people,who made that stupid rule up and why is everyone accepting it? My question is my last day at work was October 2 2023,10 days later was the last day I could walk without a wheel chair and then a walker I had two months of leave time accrued I was saving for hip replace surgery,and after that 12 months of my long term disability benefit I paid for for 13 years.Would SSDI still give me a lump sum even though I had ..."earned benefits" ?
