    0:33 I have a picture of me on that ride from 1970. I was 3 years old. Same with the boats at 2:00. I also remember the ride at 1:18. My dad and I also did this thing where you talk into a microphone and it cuts a small record of what you said, around 3 minutes long. My dad asked me about some of the rides we went on. @RJSerp Thanks for the memory bomb! Were you at the '95 (possibly '96) event? If memory serves, they had essentially switched from mud to a sandy soil (which sucked), and there were major delays. So the announcer kept talking for what felt like a couple hours of rambling. My dad got so irritated that he started yelling for him to "shut up and start the races." He got the announcers attention (and ire) and got other people to start yelling, too! Anyway, a fun memory from 90s Dresser

    Hi, nice enjoyable video. I'm having trouble with mine and took it to the dealer after I loosened those bolts and couldn't move the handlebar. The dealer also had a very hard time, the mechanic needed another 300lb+ mechanic to sit on the bike, only to move the bar a small fraction, which helped a bit. The mechanic said he thought the layer of black paint was keeping it stuck. One guy in the chain of command I'm appealing to, to make this workable so I can routinely adjust this myself by a couple inches (my wife rides, too, and would like to take the bike on some long trips)....said he thought there was a pin that held the Road King Special handlebars in place, allowing them to hardly move. Do you or someone reading this have some more experience? Thanks!

    • @RJSerp
      @RJSerp 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My bike did not have any type of pin holding the bars in place. I had to loosen the two Allen bolts numerous turns before the bars would move. Thanks for watching!

      I had a throttle/idle problem with mine... I removed gas tank, cleaned / rebuilt carb, then added fuel filters to the gas lines. I also replaced spark plug and air filter. Not sure about putting it in gear and nothing happens - unless it is in between high and low range.

    I went to Excelsior Amusement Park many times when I was little. The last time was just a short while before the park closed, although we didn't know that at the time. The church I attended took all of the altar boys to the park for a free day. It was a BLAST! The roller coaster was made of wood and it was like a living thing. There were seams and joints that expanded and it was just so wild! I also remember a room with a bunch of slides and burlap bags for riding down the slides on, as well as a big wooden cylinder you had to walk through as is spun. Now the parks are all plastic, vinyl and steel, no personality compared to the Excelsior!

    I always saw the pictures of this place at the mcdonalds in excelsior when i was growing up. It was before my time, but i loved those pictures and always wished it was still around.

    Just added these same exact tires to my son’s CRF23M. They look great! Haven’t really tried them off road yet. Thanks for the inspiration!!

      The tires work great off road, especially when aired down a bit! Thanks for watching!

    As a kid, I jumped out of the little boats and jumped into the lake. Also took a ride in the front seat of the roller coaster and nearly fell out the front!. My older cousin pulled me back in....oh the memories!

    What camp ground lot is this? We have never been and we are looking for the best spot to set up our roof top tent site

      This was a reserved tent camp site at Buffalo Chip that includes a personal Porta-potty. It was "Portalet Tent Camp Site #37". You can reserve here: www.tixr.com/groups/sturgisbuffalochip/events/sturgis-buffalo-chip-2024-80007
