Ordering A Tesla Model Y RWD? This Was The Process For Me
Mine does not have that button for the fan. It's missing it:/ I heard that in my case only way to activate it is by someone sitting in the back and with seat belt clicked in
What year is that?
@MyModelY 2024. Just picked it up a few days ago
That’s pretty wild. I wonder why they did that.
I agree! I bought a model 3, put 70,000 miles on it and we love it so much we bought a model Y for the wife. It's fantastic and I will add that the quality it top shelf. Tight, no rattles, comfortable seats and we never have to go to a gas station. No oil changes either. Both cars have been fantastic.
It’s actually a great vehicle.
why are we still doing Tesla mind-blowing tricks? It’s the most oversold core in the world.
Because they are mind blowing?
And it's the only car that does all that at that price point! He forgot to add the blind spot cameras.
Summon when it works properly rocks. Light shows are cool
In Canada we don’t have summon.
Electric cars are for the brainwashed.
Live in Canada and pay 40% of gas price in carbon taxes. Who’s brainwashed?
I totally agree and I have a Y also!
Love the vehicle. Wish I could afford an X.
Receiving my first tesla on Saturday!
I downloaded a checklist on what to look for then didn't really use it. The car was immaculate on delivery.
@@MyModelYI’m glad it was in good condition. Soon I hope that no one will be need the checklist anymore as things become more efficient
Model Y is by far the greatest product I’ve ever owned
So far so good! My old 1999 Acura 3.2TL was pretty good as well!
Great chanel BTW. I am from Quebec so its nice to have reviews from places with similar weather. How long does it take to charge your Y with the mobile charger? Thanks.
The mobile one is about 2% and hour.
thanks for making this video, tesla is my dream car lol
Hope you get it! I was also dreaming for the past five years and finally purchased the model y long range in February. You can do it !
It’s a very nice vehicle!
@@jefferrrson1xcongrats! I love mine but wouldn’t mind the long range or performance!
Just regular floor lights . This click bait
That’s what the setting in the vehicle says.
@@MyModelY correct
Tesla 2:40 and iPad 2:46
Isn’t that crazy? Which is the real time?
?
Huh
Huh
🤷 Promo>SM
At 33°C only 😂 I'm sitting in 45°C right now
Whew 🥵🥵🥵
I’m debating whether to go with RWD or AWD. Is the RWD with winter tires stable driving thru a winter storm?
I would have went with the AWD if I could do it again. Not because of the winter but because of the range and power.
Your steering wheel is on the wrong side! 😮
😆😆😆😆 It’s the iPhone camera!
@@MyModelY Oh ok. My mistake. haha
FSD cannot pull straight into a parking spot. FSD also cannot handle *diagonal* parking spots. FSD still has a long ways to go.
I should test those theories.
@@MyModelY If you have 12.3.3 you can test them right now. Autopark is very simple right now. Just backing in. That's it.
Auto park-it’s all about alignment adjacent to yellow lines
Really! Good to know!
Lies, it’s just the regular dome lights
Can't turn the subtitles off! 🙄
Not sure why you would want too! 😀😀😀
@@MyModelY Because subtitles that are not needed, are distracting?
It’s not ready for prime time! I navigated to a Supercharger yesterday and the car just circled the charger adjacent gas station twice, got confused, and shut off 😂
Really, that sucks. I definitely would have to see how it reacts in snow before purchasing.
@@MyModelY Here on TH-cam a guy in Canada tested v12.3.3 with light snow on the ground. 10 human interventions needed, on a short drive! A human would have *easily* handled that trip.
@@DerekDavis213 the city I live in has very little lines on the road to start off with. Plus the plows are nonexistent. Probably useless in the winter.
@@MyModelY Humans can drive just fine with no lines on the road, and if the road isn't plowed either. That is the human mind and human eyes, working together. In comparison, FSD is a simple minded Level 2 assistant. Nothing more.
You can fill it up on your way out! 🙄
How bout learn to drive for yourself
That’s not very nice!
i have the same parallel and perpendicular self park in my 2019 Ram 1500 truck
Unless you show me you are lying! 😂😂😂
Niceeeee ❤
Thanks for actually coming and checking it out! Probably because it’s a Y and not an X! 😂😂😂😂
@@MyModelY I love alll Teslas 🤫
Thank you
You're welcome
How did you find the paint after 1 month?
Paint has been ok. No issues.
You only need the long range if you do a lot of road trips on the interstates, if you mostly just drive in the city and drive to work, store, etc. the long range is not needed and a waste of money. The average American drives 37 miles a day, so the long range is a waste of money for most people. And unless you live where it snows a lot, you do not need to buy special tires for the winter. I have a two wheel drive truck and I never get stuck in the winter, I just wait for the roads to be plowed after a big snowstorm. I would just get the all wheel drive and the regular tires should be fine, no need for different tires in the winter.
We get tons of snow! Not so much this year but normally have plenty of snow.
This sounds terrible, traction wise. That's the biggest concern I have regarding this car because I've always driven front wheel drive or all-wheel drive. I don't want to be spinning out or stuck and I've never gotten stuck with the front wheel or an all wheel drive with winter tires.
I’ve gotten stuck with a front wheel drive. I’ve had a Toyota Camry Hybrid and left it at the side of the road and walked home.
some people think the tesla the door for it self
Model X does!
Why do you regret it after 10,000 KM? Would you long range is still worth it given its over 10k CAD more?
The range and the power, also the all wheel drive.
Depends if you travel. I just feel like I’m always plugged in. Probably would be the same regardless.
You pretty much don't have a choice about plugging in each day. It's an energy sucking machine that cannot sit idle or shouldn't sit idle for very long. The same thing goes with a prius and that is you want to use it. Batteries like to be used all the time in these cars.
Ok but how it looks like
model y camping mode good👍👍👍👍👍
I can’t wait to try camping. It’s almost comparable to glamping given the technology!
3:13 I think you installed the passenger seat cover in the driver's seat. Because the passenger seat cover has a hole on the right side for airbag deployment.
Ya I had to switch it. Still love the covers though.
I didn't even know they had that!
Ya! It was so hard to get use too! I never did continue with that feature.
Nice review, I am also thinking to buy one rear wheel drive model Y. Do you know how long does a rear wheel drive LFP battery model Y takes to charge from 20 to 80% at tesla supercharger?
I’d say 35 minites
doing this tells the tesla that it is now winter, and you have no range left because its cold.
😂😂😂😂
oh nice, by any chance you know, it come with hw3.0 or 4.0? thanks
Not sure to be honest.
Hw 3.0
Teslas are cool until you need to do anything more then travel. “Oh but the cybertruck” has glaring issues, looks ugly as sin and the tesla semis never came to be.
Love my Y
Just curious...how often do you need to recharge and hownlong does it take. And does it cost anything to charge.? I honestly have no idea.
Depends. Spent roughly $60 in 4 months in charging at home. Just connect mobile charger and getting 10% charge per hour. Used a regular plug in check out the video here. th-cam.com/users/shortsIJPT4iGfrrU?si=KUB7CD2T9Bxu2gdq
Just wait until the government starts taxing your mileage to recover gas tax revenues from there being more electric cars. It won't last long so enjoy the tax free driving.
It’s bound to happen . However why give $5000 incentive if they are gonna charge .
Tesla owners reacting to the knowledge that 14 children died for the battery in their cars
How many people died for every mile of railroad . Do you curse trains?
Shoutout to my city and that nuthin it was 1.70 sumthin last week
😂 carbon tax.
As someone from North Bay, I cringed when I saw the map of Sudbury 😂
I often cringe.
Ya untill they need a battery.
Or when you buy a Chevy and need to replace the motor and tranny.
Me when I see the tesla on fire on the side of the road
😂😂😂
Silly Brits just BLESS YOUR HEARTS! You will find out when it's too late or you are charging your golf cart with a gas generator! 🤣🤣🙉🙈🙊
You live in Sudbury, you can’t be laughing at anyone.
😂😂😂😂 You have a point!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Nice
Thanks!
