Have you got anything on White Plain and Gun Hill Rd. my old stomping ground. I miss the Bx. Now hat I now live on the west coast. Las Vegas Nevada...
Yes I have other videos for Gunhill Rd and White plains rd
I grew up there and my family house was there. My grandfather had his doctor's office on the corner of Cruger & Arnow. But I left after so many shootings and fights took place. Every day I used to take that #2 train and every summer, all summer, the service would end at 96th street and we'd have to wait for a bus then get back on the #2 at 149th st. It took forever to get home. My best memories of that neighborhood were over two decades ago before it got really dangerous. Thanks for the video

i grew up in Bronx i use to live on east Tremont ave and my best friend lived about eight blocks from Yankee Stadium on a 153rd St and Gerard ave a ten minute walk to Yankee Stadium in the early 70s you could look down on the field and watch part of the game at the 161st and Grand concourse train station then in 1977 they built a wall so you could not see into the field on the train platform this bring back memories i grew up watching Mr. October Reggie Jackson.

My grandmoms lived at 185 Ralph Ave (at the corner of MacDonough St) until they demolished her building back in 1990. Can't believe they still haven't put a building on that spot. It's been 34 years and it's still an empty lot. I went to PS 5 on Hancock and Ralph when I lived with her as a kid.

That was the Charles A Buckley Federal office building @ 22:57. It would have been nice to mention that! I'm a proud Republican now but the Bronx REGULAR Democrats did much for the Borough AND IT WOULD HAVE BEENNICE FOR THE FILM MAKER TO MENTION BUCKLEY'S NAME!

Thanks for the memories of my old neighborhood! I grew up on Edson Avenue, just 5 minutes away by bus further down on 233rd Street from White Plains Road. Every morning I took the bus from 233rd and White Plains Road to Gun Hill Road, then walked the rest of the way to Evander Childs High School at 800 E. Gun Hill Road. Yep, a beautiful fall day in Stamford! Finally the place seems to be coming into its own! Gorgeous footage! Too bad residents really can’t ride a bike downtown. Streets are too narrow and motor vehicles everywhere. Would be very challenging for the city to open the downtown areas for cyclists-hint, hint, hint 😊 Wondering what time of day you made this video since traffic seems surprisingly light.
