I was 18 , now 67 still listen yessss...

I was seventeen years old when this album came out. I owned it. I loved the whole album. I listened to it almost daily on my Pioneer stereo system. I would stare at the album cover and dream of going out on a date with the gal dressed in black. I know in 1977 we had our problems, who didn't? But at times, nostalgia hits me and I long for those simpler times of my high school years. Thank you so much for posting these 3 songs. For a moment, I got to go back in my memory to those days I loved.

I was 12 in '77 nyc and *hatin* cause I was too young to go to *54* 😂. So, I enjoyed disco vicariously through those who were blessed to experience it, and through my drum set, and just stacked these albums in milkcrates that were sourced underground. I was the go-to DJ by 15 for neighborhood sets 💯...for those who couldn't get into 54 at the time, anyway, 💃💃💃and eventually ended up working for Ian Schrager in the early 2000's as an adult🎶

We used to go crazy dancing to this whole mix at the clubs in NYC - the Gilded Grape, Hollywood!, Barefoot Boy, Peter Rabbit, etc. Those were great times when everyone used to go out just to have a good time - gay, straight, black, white - it didn't matter. I'm 67 now and I still get a rush listening to these great tunes! 👩‍❤‍👨👩‍❤‍👩👨‍❤‍👨🎶🎶🎶

Real old school, guys used to wear either suits and some clubs or Chino pants, marshmallow shoes, suspenders. It was so much fun and so underground and non-commercial clubs had the songs before the radio those weather days the girls were beautiful and dresses.
