The exit ati and HESI are complete BS and IMO a way to get more money from people and make sure they keep their reputations! My school will let you graduate but not sit for NCLEX which I don't know how that's even LEGAL considering you just need to graduate from a program to take it so don't understand how they can stop us?? so real for feeling bad for leaving, I just quit my job in an assisted living and I feel so bad whenever they are like "your leaving us?" 🥺

I am not a certified cna but i start a new job as a pca at an assisted living facility and i am nervous. I never done this work before.

Anybody watching this in 2024/2023, don't go to a school that REQUIRES an exit exam to their standard, to pass in order to take ur state boards (NCLEX). Ur state boards are your determinate, not your school restricting you.

and please tell us what you meant by dealing with weird girls at school. don’t tell me they petty in school

i get you girl. maybe be a nurse but pick a career outside of being in the hospital .

Medicare and Social security is a joke I do not understand why they have to take out so much money and if you do the research behind Medicare and social security it would make you cry. The majority of us won't even be able to get the money we put into it from working. SMH😢

I’m a CNA. I’m currently working in a hospital for 3 months now and do love what I’m doing. Your story and honestly deserves the utmost respect. You really didn’t state what is really behind the job not working for you. It seem there is more going on in your personal life which is creating conflict that being scheduling, peers, or other pressures. You are a lovely young lady and I pray to god to gives you blessing and help you be the successful woman you deserve to be. I’m so sorry your nursing passion is gone and I do believe the medical field just lost a blessing angel in having you quit. God bless you and always take care of your health first. Your honesty is beautiful and the medical field would be blesses to have you back.

We need to start normalizing failure. The most successful people failed many times. Nursing school is extremely hard. We should normalize not being perfect. Thank you for your videos. You are doing great, and you will succeed eventually in anything you set your mind to.

Being a CNA for me has been nothing but hell. I'm a caregiver that does 1 on 1 with clients that I absolutely adore. My interactions with others that are involved in his care are there at certain times but my shift is mostly by myself. I absolutely adore my client. Client family can be a headache and coworkers can be a headache. I try to keep things smooth, friendly and short and stay low key. It can get messy when you work with petty people.

Hey I feel that part about being a good worker. You aren't acknowledged for it while they love on the worthless jokers. And keep piling the work on you because you actually work. I'm currently in retail trying to shift into medical. 😅 don't think I'll go in this direction, but it seems to be a pretty big field. I have faith I'll find something that will work for a d with me.

Hi i am a homecare aide. I use to be a CNA. I do not like working with people especially females, they can make your work life stressful and working at facilities, hospitals, nursing homes they can give you to many clients to care for. I do 1 on 1 and its way better and less stress.
