Hey y’all ! We are a small hobby farm in south Texas. We raise dairy goats for milk and show. Additionally, when time permits we work with my sister who does rescue work with dogs and cats. We raise owner surrendered, cleft palate puppies who would have other wise been put down. We are currently going through some life transitions at the moment, but we have some new projects in the works. We appreciate all the kind words and support. ❤️❤️❤️

On Dec 7th our entire doe herd of dairy goats were attacked by our neighbors dogs. This video is for the people that were following our story on Facebook. I feel he has fluid accumulation on his head . His walk is not normal and his eyes and forehead are abnormal too
Yes… unfortunately that type of thing is fairly common in cleftie pups. We treated him for it. Rocky is now over a year old. He had surgery to correct his palate and was fixed. Aside from having difficulties with potty training, he has a very happy normal life now. He has found an amazing home, while we loved him and enjoyed raising him, I felt his new home was perfect for him. My children and I get to visit him so it was a happy ending all the way around 🙂

Yes, he is doing great! He had surgery to close his palate and open his nostrils a bit, he is completely fine now.

@@preboy05 I’m sorry I just saw this… hmmm I can’t remember exactly. He was probably 7-8 months old ?? His surgery was successful and he is doing fantastic.
If yoy don’t mind me asking , what was the price of his surgery ? I have a cleft puppy as well

I honestly don’t know how well that would work out? But I am not a vet so I can’t answer that. Rocky had surgery to have his palate corrected and he is now doing amazing. Leads a completely normal happy life 🙂

He is so adorable! Such a pretty color & you can see the determination in his face, he’s gonna make it. Thank you for all the love & care that you’re giving him, I know it’s no easy. Will he always have to be fed that way? Will the cleft palate ever close up so he can eat & drink from a bowl? I hope & Pray it does so he can eat & drink on his own. Praying for you & little Rocky, he truly is your Baby now. 🙏🏻😘💕💕
Thank you. I haven’t had time to update as I am currently in school for my PhD. Rocky is a year old now. He had surgery for his cleft palate and is doing fantastic ❤️. Someday soon I’ll make a video update.
