May I expose my dreadful ignorance of the things that really matter in life, such as Morris dancing, by asking the name of this Morrts Tune?

The side is too small...should be an 8 and not a 4...with aggressive dancing and sticks...with the intention of breaking at least one stick...just my wish...Vandals danced by aggressive women with loud and raucous music always brought the crowd alive in my youth...Nice try Wight ...but much too weak for such an immense crowd in Thaxted this time...Best...

I don't wish to be critical but is there any reason for the unruly kids running up and down the arena?, not only do they stand a chance of being trodden on by the dancers but it must be really distracting for the audience as well as those trying to perform. when I attended the evening session a couple of years ago there was a member of the thaxted side on child minding duties but here I can't see any evidence of that, it's good that kids are into morris dancing I don't think an important event such as this is the right time for them to be playing around!.

Border Morris - outstanding! Ockington is one of my favorites - over here in the States. Our side (Blackthorn) used fiddle, recorder/pipe, and banjo. (It is America, after all!) What is the name of the tune that they played for this dance?

My dad wrote this and he's in the team Every dance Wakefield Morris do were made for Wakefield Morris Stop typing "the side performing in the video might not be the originators of the dance" because they were the originators of the dance

The dance is called Round the Wrekin, the originator side was Hunters Moon. Hunters Moon uses the tune Four Up, which is lovely with the dance. Armaleggan (the side dancing in this video) already uses the Four Up tune for its home-grown dance Spires, so it switched to use this tune.
