i hope Mel will see this - this will spark the wish in her to also start stained glass :D
you made Kson wtf
is it just me or does the mel part look more like kson?
Never underestimate a sudden dead rat in the walls bringing a fly plague😢 Love the window btw
That was probably it, or it could have been a snake, possum, goanna, bat. Lots of stuff make it into my walls and ceiling. Also cheers.
Did you say lead?
Yep. This type of work is also known as Leadlighting.
pretty dope dude. I really like that you played video through it at the end. Nice touch
Cheers.
Thank you for the awesome video~ Once again you have killed it good sir (Thankfully nobody was figuratively killed this time... Save for your band saw twice and an assortment of cells 👌) Thank you for all your hard work, I hope your smaller projects are slightly less trying and your bones are less hurty now 🙏 I hope your having a lovely day, Have a wonderful week, Be safe and Take care out there wherever you are (^=W=^)7 And you too fellow viewer~
Cheers for your kind comment :)
improvise overcome adapt worth it
Is the lead absolutely needed? Working with a toxic metal that bio-accumulates in your body and cant really be gotten rid of is a bit disconcerting.
Technically I could use any soft metal however, lead overall is the most suitable but, there is no need to worry lead generally is fine to handle with gloves, there are people who have worked for decades with lead using correct safety protocols. In the worst case scenario my own stupidity causes me to get lead poisoning it is easily treatable with Chelation therapy and won't have any lasting effects since i'm an adult. I already get half a dozen blood tests a year for other medical reasons so I just ask them to also check my lead levels as well just in case.
@@Xavyr_D Didnt you sand it down one or two episodes ago?
@@senorcapitandiogenes2068 Yea, not my brightest idea. I won't be doing that again.
I cast mega BONK! Go to horby jail!
No, don't bonk me, I'm innocent I swear. I won't last 5 minutes in horby jail.
My god tier editing abilities strike again at 03:12, 10:22 and 10:39. On the bright side I didn't kill anyone this time around.
I love it.
Good to hear.

Looks amazing!
😂
super cursed dude.
I wonder if cleaning the lead came with say acetone would remove any oils/coatings applied to keep the lead bright before sale. Kind of like haw steel comes with a layer of mill scale. It's worth a try and not to expensive to get. Just wear your respirator or di it outside.
I actually used steel wool to scrape off the oxidised layer before applying the acid to avoid that. It looks a lot darker on in the video than it does on person so I think it's maybe meant to look like this and since I have only seen pictures online so I don't really know what it's meant to look like in person.
Mouse watched your video on stream. She loved it, but was a little confused by the "dying" bit, lol. You can find it in her most recent VOD on twitch starting at 10:27:50.
Yea, I saw it and am greatly embarrassed that I accidently cut out the part of the video that said she wasn't.
@@Xavyr_D That's understandable, I think I would feel the same. She seemed to take it well and didn't seem to be truly bothered by it though. The most important thing is she loved your work. I didn't realize when first watching that it was your first attempt at something like this. It came out incredibly well!
@@Ticky21 I'm happy she too it in stride and enjoyed it. Lucky youtube lets me cut things out so I just deleted the section, I still wish that one of the other 23,000 people pointed it out before she saw it lol. Also thank you.
mousey reaction www.twitch.tv/videos/2204780883?t=10h27m43s
No fucking way.
Mouse has a chronic illness, she's not terminally ill.
You are correctly. Funnily enough I accidently cut out the part where I said that it was neither of those things, no one is dying or was pretending to be dying, and how my friend had lied to me. That's why that part kind of just ends there and doesn't lead to the next part.
@@Xavyr_D Don't worry, it's all good! 👍👍
@@Xavyr_D Mouse had a little chuckle and did a bit on the difference. She liked your work. The clippers found it and posted so expect a lot of people coming to watch the video.. (like me)
Sir, excuse me
You are excused.
Thats honestly so cute i love the handle is a heart for the leash
This is so cool. I'm glad to see you crafting in a more safe manner, lol. But im excited to see you continue.
Thanks. Yea, I'm still working on the whole safety thing.
@@Xavyr_D I'm glad /gen
This would have been great for the auction!
Who knows, maybe it might end up in on in like 5 years time.
I really love stain glass, the designs of both Connor and Mouse were very good. I’m going to keep watching for sure.
Glad you like them.
Thank you for the brilliant video~ Seeing you working with leather takes me back to my short stint of leather work, It turned out that being good at something 10 years ago didn't mean I was still good at it... I didn't stitch myself to anything though so that was a win 👌 Thank you for all your hard work, I hope you got some well deserved rest after stitching so much lace I hope your having a lovely day, Have a wonderful rest of your week, Be safe and Take care out there wherever you are (^=W=^)
Cheers, You too (◕‿◕)
Thank you for the awesome video~ Yet another amazing creation! Your skill in glass work has improved and you made a brilliant job of it Thank you for all your hard work, Please keep it up m(_ _)m Looking forward to the addition you have planned I hope your having a lovely day, Have a wonderful week, Be safe and Take care out there wherever you are (^=W=^)7 And you too fellow viewer~
never knew of connor before TT podcast
Try recording using mkv rather then mp4 as the file doesn’t corrupt when it gets suddenly ended.
I do, the weird error that happens when I hit stop recording in obs it just says "Stopping Recording" infinitely and when I go to the file where the recording should be there is just nothing there, while even the OBS log files says there should 100% be something there. So something outside of OBS is doing something extremely wonky and I have no clue what that is.
Great work once again! Looking forward to the finished piece!
Cheers. I can't wait to finish it, it's going to be fun working out what to do with it afterwards.
I loved this. I watched the iron mouse video oh so long ago when it came out. Once again, you did great. Thank you for another glass breaking video.
I'm glad you liked it, sorry about the long wait, it won't be as long for the next part. I hope.
@@Xavyr_D of course. Take your time, dont push yourself.
i did not expect to see this but i will remember it always
I wouldn't mind forgetting the taste.
that is most certainly cursed, i love it
I fulfilled the request, but at great cost.
Nice
Oh hey. You have not died due to lead poisoning. Yet.
Surprisingly not, It may take a few more stained glass pieces to finish me off.
It's really cute!
Nice 😮
Vtuber clothing designs: Not actually meant to be made and worn in real life The fans: Hold my beer
This is super cool! Amazing job!
ah damn already sacrificed my first born to the eldridge gods, could i do my Second born? i know i know ill see myself out
Amazing!!!
hey man really nice job looks awesome, little tip I learned when I was a Joiner working with an old school glazier who did alot of lead lite glazing, to get the lead looking a really nice crisp black was oven cleaner, which was a surprising and really cool trick we used alot when doing restoration work it works pretty quick. best of luck with your next one.
Ironmouse Glass brought me to this channel, but holy mother of God, that editing in the "About Cr1TiKal" section is what secured a subscribe!
Cheers, it took a while. I did do one for mousy but, it was only 2 minutes long so I ended up cutting it. I would like to do something like it again but, it's hard to find someone that has as much history as Cr1Tikal.
nice
I dont realy watch Vtubers but someone making a Stained glass is always intressting. also that crack on the glass when it breaks correctly sound of progress.
Never did I think I'd see vtuber stained glass, I love it! It's always cool to see pop culture glass art.
U should have made the mouth piece a different colour so it's like a mask. Would have been neat as u couldn't make a mouth. Sick stained glass work tho ❤
My apologies... At some point I tuned out and started paying more attention to the sax-solo Gintama music in the background than to your commentary.
Perfectly understandable.
Ok i saw the thumbnail before i read the thumbnail and it looked like gl ass
Genuinely really impressive work. The design is solid and the gap fix looks intentional. First attempts at anything are always hard but the fact you finished it is amazing!
