Line 6 Pocket Pod, MIJ Edwards Les Paul
Picked this up a while back as I thought it would be a mini Pod 2.0. It's not. The sounds are technically from the same generation but they sound more toy-like. Kinda bright for this plexi setting but still not terrible!

Spacey Effects on the Boss ME90

This is the Twin Amp setting on the Boss ME90, really love the effects on this, although the Amp modelling has some unique quirks and sounds. For my playing and with the guitars available to me, it takes a bit to find an amp and a setting that pairs well. I'll definitely be doing more experimentation. The twin amp sounds great with humbuckers with a really pretty high end.

Testing out the Brit Class A, Vox AC30 model on the Line 6 Pod 2.0. On this model, the mids control is the Vox cut, which I have turned completely off and along with the bass control while keeping the treble at noon. With slightly bassier pickups like on this FGN J Standard, the tone has a nice presence and hair and I could have maybe afforded to back off more on the gain. Love this sound!

Last day with this guitar so I wanted to give it a quick send-off. Hope the next owners enjoys it too. Really impressive Fleor alnico pickups that sound good and clean up well despite being very budget-oriented. Tones are from the Line 6 Pod XT with the Vox AC30 Top Boost amp, standard cab with the 67 condenser, bass backed off a bit with the mids and treble at noon. Both the Pod XT and Pod 2.0...

Very blessed to get this in. Made in Japan by PGM, Van Zandt JMV-R2 in Fiesta Red. The JMV line is the Jazzmaster style offering from PGM/Van Zandt. R2 designates an alder body with a rosewood fretboard (decently lightweight guitar too at 3.35kg/7.35lbs). This guitar has 'Hornet' pickups, which I believe are a custom order made by PGM from Van Zandt USA, it's supposed to be a regular Jazzmaster...

how does this compare to Yamaha DG 130H?
I haven't played the DG130H but I have played the smaller DG combos. The front end of the THR100H feels a lot stiffer compared to the DG modelling, that feels a bit more squishy or saggy in comparison. Both are great amps. I wouldn't mind owning a DG combo but they are rather heavy.

Thank you very much! I haven't tried that yet but I'm sure it would sound great! I think I might try that on my Pod XT. I love the cab selection for the Pod 2.0 but I've always felt that the XT cabs were a little bit fizzy.
@@danielkongmusic yes it's true. It seems that also 20 years ago they made a great job with amp sim but NOW with the ir's we realized that the real "goal" was the cab simulation! Have a nice day Daniel!
Edwards sounds pretty easy on the wallet, Navigator sounds very hefty in that regard. Not sure where this falls to, but you make it sound pretty damn good my boy..
Thank you! I've been trying to find out more information about these guitars but there seems to be a great deal of disagreement online. I'm not sure what distinguishes a 'By Navigator' stamped Edwards from a 'By ESP' Edwards apart from when they were roughly produced. At the very least, I got this guitar for a pretty good price and wasn't charged a substantial premium. Would love to try a Navigator LP at some point.
Classic Vibes are excellent guitars, and with a few upgrades, can be a great guitar. Nice demo.
Thanks! They're pretty decent, the practice space I share has a strat, tele, and a jazz bass so I've spent lots of time with them. They feel great in terms of fit and finish but I find the pickups on both the guitars and basses to be a bit harsh.

If I recall correctly this was the crunch channel with everything at 12 o clock in terms of gain/volume/EQ. Master was perhaps 10 o clock, and I ran the presence completely off.
