Definitely. I also played it a little bit after I streamed this and it got very tedious. I don't know if it is just me and timeline games or if it is the game itself. That Phantom Brigade game also became very tedious to me as well.

I haven't played it recently, but they have been doing regular updates and last time I played it they added a pretty simple quest system. They really need a demo!

Yeah, bought it yesterday and Im here - just to get a clue on anything regarding base building. Game tells you nothing :)

I think I played the second one and it was awesome! I tried one of the newer ones and didn't like it as much.

I adjusted the lighting to be like that.

I almost bought it just for the single player mod, but I just could bring myself to give those developers money!

That is actually a pretty good idea. Probably not for this engine, but a good idea for a strategy game!

It seems like it is very early access still! I put it on my list to check in again in 6 months.

@@lordhaywire Yeah that seems fair. I doubt an indie dev can make a fully generated game without any bugs or issues tbh. I doubt an a-list company could for that matter

Thank you! I felt like there had to be one! I figured out the time thing later on in the video. There needs to be a time indicator on the combat screen, along with other quality of life improvements.

I wish I had a good example I could link to. I only can notice it on my good computer, so it must also be related to how it shows on high res monitors.

I am not sure. There are different commands now so I think that probably was made to try to avoid that problem. If the problem is what I think it is.

I agree, it is stellar! I would guess it isn't dominating because it isn't on Steam. We have grown so use to Steam that now it is a huge detriment to a game not to be one there.

Awesome! The developer of Surroundead is really active, even on Reddit, so I imagine it will continue to get better and better over time.

That is a good way of describing it! My friend had one of those tone generators and I was so envious. The cops found it once and were very curious about it, but couldn't understand what it was!

I am waiting for some more updates on it. I have it on my list for January. Doesn't mean that is actually when I will stream it, but that is the current plan!

That is a hard choice. I think all three of them are really well made. I don't like Stoneshard as much as I like the other two because of how slow leveling is in Stoneshard, but I still can see how good it is! Soulash 2 and Doors of Trithius are both really good. If I had to buy one only, I would just see which one is on sale and buy that one. Maybe Doors of Trithius would go a little higher on the list then Soulash 2 just because it has been around for longer, but the Soulash 2 developer is doing updates like crazy.

I feel like board games are having a renaissance right now. Everyone I know plays some sort of board game.

I feel like a lot of colony games do that. Its probably easier to figure out what needs they have if they have their own space. It also used to be a thing that couples didn't sleep in the same room, but I doubt that is why Norland is like that. Norland was a bunch of little weird programming decisions. I think it will be a lot different in a year!

@@빵빵빵-m1o Some games when set to borderless windowed mode it doesn’t act like it is borderless windowed mode. I did some testing once, I think with Red Dead Redemption 2, and it seems to be related to HDR on my monitors. I have HDR turned off in Windows so that it happens less, but it still happens sometimes. When set to borderless windowed mode I sometimes have to alt-tab to get out of the game, and when I click on my monitor that doesn’t have the game on it both monitors go black for about 3 seconds and act like they are readjusting their resolution. Sometimes when it does that it bounces all my other windows around between the two monitors, so then I have to move them back to where I like them. It isn’t a huge deal, I just like to whine about it.

I just remembered with Crawl Tactics it did what I was saying in the other reply, but it also moved all my windows on my other monitor half off of the monitor and if I tried to click on them all the monitors would turn off again. If you want I can take a video on my phone and send it to you on your Discord.

Ive never played Freelancer. Did Freelancer have Cthulhu monsters in it? On Underspace's Discord they were discussing Freelancer a bunch, and I think someone was even talking about the controls being similar. I only half looked at that message though!

I don't think I am knowledgeable enough about USC: Counterforce to make a tutorial about it. In fact, I didn't even know it was a sequel until your comment! I do plan on streaming it again though!

​@lordhaywire ive actually been having decent fun with usc. It's 4 man squads but still missions vs 35 aliens. I'm finally finishing missions with all 4 units. I'll be giving usc: counterforce another go soon enough. Looking forward to the next stream I hope you post some of it to youtube.

@@trikkinikki970 The squad size in USC: Counterforce is a little out of control. It makes the battles really long.

I hadn't played in a long time, and I definitely saw some new strange stuff...that killed me! Haha! All of the different character options and thing you can run into really make each game unique especially if you survive longer then I did in this video!

I haven't played Anno in forever, but someone in chat said it was pretty much identical except for the pirate ships. Even the needs page on the houses was identical!
