You gotta sand after applying the paint and add paint until it's level, then add clear coat and sand again. You can get near perfect paint correction as described in Chrisfix instructions.
Thanks for the advice
❤
Does it only work with the big propane tanks?
The only adapter/connector that comes with it is for a "regular" propane tank. I also know it has a pretty good flow rate to the burners so I don't think the small camping style cylinders could supply enough gas with pressure to operate effectively.
How long did it take to build?
A couple of months, but never done
@ lol. I start mine in the morning. Wish me luck
Such a fun journey! Build and live with it and add as you go! You will enjoy the process so much, and it really adds to your daily happiness! Heck I am sitting out here now enjoying a beverage and getting ready to fire up the fire pit and pizza oven!
I would love to see a "retrospective" video about the outdoor kitchen! I looked for a playlist... A summary of good / bad ~ problems you faced / solutions, etc. would be a great video!
That’s a great idea, I will have to think about that!
Check out the grilling/cooking playlist, all my backyard bar grill videos are in there
WOW six months and that thing looks terrible! More chinese junk!!
Still works pretty good though! Coastal Carolina climate can be pretty tough on things
@@silverpop2711 I live in Apex,NC near Raleigh. Do you cover it when not in use or store it inside. I know living along the coast is tough on some items but that's a lot of damage to blame on living on the coast.
I put the cover on it but it stays outside all the time
Even with the cover on the humidity gets up under it and water settles on surfaces
I kinda liked it, thinking about giving a chance. Thanks for the video!
I'm glad you found it helpful, this grill has worked out great for me!
Is this a project that a couple can do as a test, to test their love and patience for one another 😅😅
For sure, I still recommend a 3rd person for the roof, maybe a counselor! lol
Thx for sharing. I’m about to put one of these together. Would you suggest anchoring the 4 posts down to anything? Or is it heavy enough to stand alone?
It is pretty heavy. I live in an area where hurricane's are an issue so I have anchored it to the concrete pool deck I have it installed on.
Check out the other videos I have posted about the backyard Bar and grill.
I also own this fine pizza oven. I’ve owned mine for going on two years. Personally I think it’s an amazing deal! Far as I can tell, the only difference between this and an ooni or Gozney is a little insulation. Definitely not enough to justify the difference! It is a big one! Only wish they had a larger version.
I totally agree!
Thanks for the tips! Just got mine did you do it on your own? How long did it take you?
Yes I did, I spent about 3-4 hrs in garage assembling the larger sections then 3-4 hours assembled roof and putting it all together
Check out the other videos I have done on the backyard bar and grill build
How many times have you cooked on that thing over what period of time?
In May and June almost every weekend. July maybe 3 times and August a couple of times. I will probably ramp up as we move into fall. I usually cook outside almost every weekend but switch up between the grill and the upright smoker.
@@silverpop2711 - soooo - May + June = 8x cooks + July @ 3x / Aug @ 2x & let's say Sept @ 3x Oct @ 2x = 18 times in one year divided by $180 = $10 per cook + fuel. Heck I'll pay $10 per cook to avoid cleaning the glass top stove & my cast iron skillets! BONUS: you can easily get 3+ years out of that rig if you store it inside a bit more often, bringing cost down to $3.33 per cook + fuel. NOTE: usage drops about 25~50% when you practice hauling your grill / griddle in & out of the garage... YES: I was a commercial construction estimator in a past life... ;)
Great video... super cool time in the product development cycle of outdoor kitchens for carnivores! I want a griddle / grill combo like this thing & it only costs $180. Let's say it "only" lasts 6 years - if you neglect it as shown. That's only $30 per year! If you divide that by 6 cookouts per year (2 weekends June / July / August) = $5 per weekend + fuel. ^^^THAT'S A FANTASTIC DEAL and it would probably last 12 / 18 / 24 years if stored in a garage during cold climate winters. We already have a 3 year old x $300 Walmart SS EXPERT GRILL w/ 4-burners + side burner & we love grilling on it. I recently bought a $30 Walmart "Lodge Seasoned Cast Iron Reversible Grill/Griddle" surface piece & will try it soon on our EXPERT. I'm not in a hurry because we have a $150 Walmart only Blackstone Adventure Ready 17" Tabletop Griddle Combo with DEEP Fryer. The thing is, I don't like burning 2x gas @ grill & griddle @ same time, so I will be testing the grill + the "Lodge Grill/Griddle" surface on the grill ASAP.
Thanks for watching! Love the cost breakdown.
You got the beer, I'll bring the brisket.

Nice 👍
Thanks
Very nice friend ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Can you tell me how long it is with out the handles on it please.
Thanks for watching, 32” wide with out the handles, you still need-4” on the left side where the gas supply fitting and line connects
@@silverpop2711 thank you so much for your help. I’m going to build a drawer system for the bed of my pickup to put this into but didn’t want to order it if it wouldn’t work out.
@@Tireguy049 that sounds awesome, would love to see a video on that!
@@silverpop2711do you have to use a big propane tank or can it adapt to fit smaller handheld tanks?
What wood did you use for bar and shelves?
Cedar fence boards from Lowes. Only temporary for the bar top, once it cools down and humidity drops I plan on doing an epoxy pour. These boards do expand and contract a lot. www.lowes.com/pd/5-8-in-x-5-1-2-in-x-6-ft-Cedar-Dog-Ear-Fence-Picket/5014282515
Silver Pop, does the AC power going in turn to 12 Volt DC so one could set up a ice maker to be 12 Volt plugged? Thank you for the showing and sharing.
No, there is just a small transformer for the smaller electronics, the compressor is still 120VAC
Did you bolt the gazebo to the cement floor to secure it from heavy winds?
Yes, I will also tie down with eye bolts and rope if I a hurricane starts heading this way
You are as entertaining as Tim the tool man Taylor🥃🔌☄️🆒️
Thanks
I’m tuned in Silver Pop! ❤

@@silverpop2711 Thank you Sir.
Great tips!!!! I actually bought the display and have to go into the store and take it down. Do you have any tips on the best way to do it? I'm renting a truck so I can keep as many pieces together as possible. I was thinking for sure to start at the roof.
Should be able to break it down into 4 pieces roof which is just 6 brackets, front roof beams, back beams and the 2 sides
You will want at least 3 people and a ladder
Fully charged cordless drill, hopefully they give you the hardware pack because it has the bits you need to take off hardware and take some zip lock bags for the hardware
5 including roof
@silverpop2711 thank you!!!
Looks great. I just bought and built my Backyard Discovery XL and like some of your ideas. How do you plan on keeping everything dry when it rains?
The bar side stays pretty dry with the back wall, a little will come in from the one side if the wind is really blowing but not enough to get to the electronics. the grill side is a different story, eventually I plan on building small awning style covers to extend a couple of feet, live with that and see how it does.
Backyard paradise. 🎉.
Thanks for watching, it’s been fun building and really enjoying it now
I saw the videos on your channel. Your video content is excellent. To grow & increase the view of your channel you need to optimize your videos. Inspite all of your efforts videos are not being viewed. Video SEO Score is very low. The title, Description, and Tags are not SEO-friendly. Videos are not shared on Social Media platforms and many other problems are found on your TH-cam Channel. If your channel is optimized a little and if the videos are SEO friendly then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. So immediately need SEO for your Videos & TH-cam channel. Do you want to improve those problems and grow your TH-cam Channel?

Silver pop, loving your backyard setup.
Thanks
While I do like the addition of the roof joining the two kits, the difference in lumber and roofing materials is really tweaking my ADHD! But it looks nice, regardless!
I really looked for affordable black tin roofing but was not available at the time and cedar would have cost 3x and some stain did help some but it does still bother me sometimes, lol! Thanks for watching
Continue watching the next videos all the way to part 10 so far it ties in a little better
Been thinking about building something like this with the same gazebo. Did you anchor it to the concert pad or is just free standing? How does it hold up to wind?
It is currently free standing but very soon will drill and anchor to the concrete before hurricane season is in full affect here. We have had a few good thunderstorms with high winds and no problems so far but don’t want to risk it with hurricane force winds
@@silverpop2711 appreciate the response. Your outdoor space is looking good. Job well done

I am a female but I don’t play the “dumb, helpless female” card, especially because I live by myself and if I can’t do it then I go to TH-cam lol. I had no trouble putting it together except it didn’t say what kind of battery to use and really how to install it so you were a huge help with that and that silver chain? I had no idea what that was because there was nothing in the instructions about it either so thank you for that information but I’m not able to get the drip tray in correctly 😩
Thanks for watching and glad you found some useful info.
Fabulous!! And well said 3:04 👏

Nice video.. What size wheels & Tires do you have in there? Do you have it leveled?

I bought that same grill gazebo. Ready to put the roof on. Any tips for getting the roof on it’s pretty big and heavy!
I used 3 people, my wife, daughter and I. 1st move was to stand it against the back of the frame then pick up getting the front up onto the frame. After that it is easy to slide around on top of the frame
@@silverpop2711 We did the same thing by. Worked like a charm, thanks!
Glad that worked out! Hope you enjoy your gazebo as much as I do
Way to much hardware . A time killer
Thanks for watching, definitely a lot, but changing the configuration like I did left me with a lot of extra which I have been able to use other places.
Love the backyard oasis you are creating! I’m a pizza novice myself and never done Stromboli but I find it helpful to put some semolina flour on my peel. It’s slightly more granular and generally has made my launches pretty successful. In theory it should work with Stromboli as well. I’m all about learning so I’m along for the ride!
Awesome! Thank you!
Well done video. Thanks. Mine arrives tomorrow, God willing. This helps allay some concerns.
Enjoy it
A nope rope
Ha you know it
great job. Did you apply a sealant prior to assembly.
Thanks for watching, I did not apply sealer before assembling
I was planning on building my own grill gazebo, but after seeing your setup I decided to just buy one of these and picked it up today! How far does the roof project past the face of the post on the front side? I need to form some footers for mine and want to set it close to an existing roof line but the manual doesn't include that dimension.
Thanks for watching, the front roof edge is ~6 inches from post face
Shake it don't break it. Took your mamma 9 months to make it.
