Fantastic video
Beautiful. Thank you for this video. 🙏
Loved the video, but not the AI backgrounds..
I LOVE MOTHS
the starrail acheron is kooshy.
do the rare colored moths mean same thing as the regular colored ones?
FLUFF!!!💜
MOTH!

I am new here. Nice channel & very good video about moths. I like them, the witches, esoteric, symbols etc. & I wear a moth necklace all the time.
I have found home...
Y are moths keeping on attacking my head? I hate those bitches
No way! The Bug had the funny Tate picture!!! XD I do think that whenever a society gets stagnant or people go through great leaps, whatever they'll try to escape into movements like decadence or other more pessimistic/nihilistic. It's like society gets depression xD
So it was YOU who broke into my house!
:3
My Dad doesn't love Moths❤ but I love them Alot/they are so Cute!.
This delights me. I wasn't in the market for a new special interest but I'm about to find and draw every moth in my area.
The evolutionary adaptation you discussed in the moth in Britain was fascinating. I enjoying learning about animal and plant adaptation. ❤
I throughly enjoyed this little dive into moth symbolism. I learned quite a bit from you today and hoping you will cover one of my favorite cryptids (Mothman) soon. I've actually been to Mothman fest three times, the first when it was 'cancelled' and the other two when it was celebrated. Man, I never had so much fun. I met so many interesting people.
this was gay on unbelievable levels
Moths are the cutest bugs in existence.
Awesome video moths are my favorites
Another interesting video! Great job again 👏🏿👏🏿 Gotta say I'm so glad you've transformed into your current cutesy, adorably adorable form; as one who's not a bug enthusiast, this one was...hard to look at lol
Love the idea of you being a moth in a library, flitting about, sharing with us what you find in the books you land on 😊
Great video! And kudos to your illustrator/artist! You already have a solid handle on this TH-cam thing, so I'm surprised to see so few videos on the channel. About to go check out your other videos now; looking forward to more in the future 😊 Are you going to do more nature-related videos?
Not exactly nature - we're looking for interesting and/or obscure topics. Things that can tell a story hardly told, or a very good one! We have more videos coming up soon, we're still relatively new! The Archive keeps us busy, but we'll do our best to upload consistently!
Thank you
Fun Fact: earlier this year there was a study that showed the reason why moths are attracted to lights is because they use moonlight to navigate. I don't remember how they do this, but they orientate themselves to always have a light on their back, and as such artificial lights cause them to get confused and fly in circles, as they don't know how to navigate away from the light/flame.
lol
mothra
Evidence found for the reason the attraction to light, It has to do with the moths to differienciate from up and down according to the moons light emmision. Then making them confused constantly trying to find their equilibrium. Is a recent finding. Evident on how old of a creature they are. They dont know what artificial lighting is
Fun moth fact: Cryptoses Moths are found almost exclusively in the fur of Sloths, and their entire lifecycle relies on a symbiotic relationship with Sloths, their dung, and the algae which grows in their fur. People tend to just call Cryptoses Moths ‘Sloth Moths’ sometimes because they’re found pretty much entirely in the fur or on the dung of Sloths.
Cool vid, the AI generated images kinda disappointing tho
hey yall, I'm the artist of moth drawings the video! just wanted to thank everyone for the comments and likes. yall have no idea how much it means to us 🥹❤
Great work! You're really talented and your illustrations invigorated this video and made it even more enjoyable than it already is. It's actually the moth in the thumbnail that made me click, so again, great job 👏🏿👏🏿
You did a great job I absolutely love your art style ,it is very cool and inspiring.
@@vnikytI also agree with ,they did a great job on the art .
Do you illustrate other creatures ? These are so neat .
beautiful drawings; now I want to see more of your work/art, hopefully I can find it on your channel(?)
Moths > Butterflies
Comparatively, to the other celestial bodies, the Sun sure has a more divine essence rather than being alive. But it's pretty interesting anyway.
To me, moths are the only other creatures we know that knows glory
interesting said; but why do you think so ‧ if I may ask(?)
@@verstrahlt1907 moths are creatures born from dark, neglected, and deteriorating corners. All they know is dust and filth and shadow. So when they see light they cling to it, throw there sad, cramped worlds behind and fly towards something bigger, better, pure. They risk everything just to be a part of the only color they’ve ever seen in their grey little lives. I love them.
@@ChaseBoudreauPaperMachine Thank you for the message & explanation. I love them to. Also, if you spell my name backwards: ı‧мот(н)* (there ~silent н in dif.languages) in my language (Slovene), 'moth' is VEŠČA. It also stands, for the: Witches & for those who know/!\ "ti si vešč" means aprox. similar: "you are capable/master/able" it is very hard to explain. About the story you told - can you rely? or could you imagine the life of the moths, or a 'bzz'zooiologist ???
good stuff man keep it up
i took a picture of a moth and sent it through inaturalist and it said it only had 1000 observations in the world, is that rare?
Moths - and insects in general - have a large species diversity, so if inaturalist got down to the species level, it's not entirely unexpected. Still a very interesting find! What kind of moth was it?
@@theesotericarchive boldly marked archips moth, archips dissitanus. i was away from the city when i saw it and just thought "hey we dont have anything like this in the city" and i took a picture of it knowing that it could still be super common
@@sillysillyme8150 It reminds me of a Rorschach painting, looks very neat!
If you could find anything, I would love to learn more about the evolutions of moths :) (Or moth man and the disasters he's appeared in!) I also love where you go into the genetic diversity of the peppered moth. Can't wait to see more!
Evolutions among the taxonomic tree? That could be interesting! I have another video lined up that is less moth related, but I'll definitely come back to the topic in the future!
KENDRICK (the esoteric archive) DROP ANOTHER DISS TRACK (moth video) AND MY LIFE IS YOURS
@@evalucia9192 I'm not sure what else I could cover, maybe highlighting moth species or doing a Mothman video - if you have any suggestions, let me know!
Kudos!! actually well made video. Hope you brow up soon. I got here because of the TH-cam algorithm.
Thank you so much! Glad to see people enjoying the video, I've got more stuff coming very soon!
I LOVE MOTHS
moth :3
Cool video! i like moths :D
I don't have access to community posts yet, so I'll post it here: The end of the video had a brief clip of music from the video game Fear & Hunger. This was supposed to be my next upload, but I greatly underestimated the work and effort it would require to make a video I was satisfied with about that game. It's been months and I still haven't finished it, so rather than continue pushing the rock up the hill, I'm going to focus on smaller videos in the meantime to get more experience. I've learned a lot and upgraded a lot of my hardware since I've made this video, and I hope you all enjoy what I have in store!
