Welcome to Railhead Ranch. Join us in chasing the Central Texas dream, or at least our version. We're breaking the rules, shattering stereotypes, and redefining rural living. We're not above using luck as a strategy and always strive to have as much fun as possible along the way.
You will get to know our ranch, the residents of our barns and pastures, and some of our favorite places. Sure, we'll work projects, improve the land, work cattle, build things, and do traditional country stuff, but we'll also chase dreams, go on wild outdoor adventures, climb mountains, and check the box on bucket list items at every opportunity.

This Colt Barely Survived the First Week
This colt had a hell of a first week at Railhead Ranch. It has been a very long time since we’ve had horses, but when it is in your blood, it’s in your blood, and your soul will always seek the companionship of a good horse. Reconnecting with LaTashia and bringing this guy into our lives has been a delightful and unexpected gift. He is doing very well and demonstrates unbelievable potential. He could be a ranch horse, a roping horse, a barrel racer, or an awesome best friend. Either way, it’ll be a heck of a ride.
Today, you joined us for delivery, halter and lead training, and a visit to the Fayette County Veterinary Clinic in La Grange, Texas, where Dr. Finch provided vaccinations, castration, a hoof trim, and removal of his wolf teeth. We want to ensure this young colt, now gelding, has a solid foundation and understands he is part of the team and has a job, a role to play at the ranch. I believe we are well on our way.

Solid video, I just got one of these in myself yesterday. Quick question for you; how is the non-fan noise on yours? I noticed the compressor on mine has a buzz, as opposed to the lower hum I am used to. Wondering if it is just mine, or something across others as well. Thanks!
Mine buzzed/rattled a little in the beginning, when I first powered the unit. After running a while, it seems to have fixed itself and now runs at a very low hum, not really noticeable.
Was the dealer not supportive ? I know you had recommended them before. You used them for the Mule right?
I had a great sales experience with our Mule (and the tractor). The sales leader personally delivered the Mule the day after Thanksgiving, when we returned early from an out-of-town trip. It has not returned for service.

I would be grateful for your help and recommendation! For those who do not know, New Holland is part of CNH Industrial. This is a global organization with a $14B market cap. Why would a company of this size care about a ranch with only 1 New Holland tractor? It's part of their culture, and one of the reasons we bought New Holland and remain loyal to the brand.

Glad that the tractor is back, and it’s a shame that it took three months to address a relatively minor issue. You’ve done a great public service with this video, and hopefully dealers will wake up to the need for basic service in a timely way!

I did this 10 years ago, and i dont think I'd get far without help. Glad I was able to do this when I was healthy. Thanks COVID youre up there with polio for being a shit Fer and the iron lung. I couldnt breath in 2014 at elevation. How I cant breath well at all. Glad youre all havin fun. ❤
